These guys are awesome. They installed my Trane system 5 yrs ago and it has run beautifully ever since. Just had a stopped up drain issue recently and Brad was here to fix it the same day I called. He diagnosed the problem immediately, fixed it in about ten minutes and was off to his next appt. Would highly recommend this company for both installation and maintenance. Thanks Brad!! read more

I was a first time customer with a stopped up ac drain. Brad came out right away, on a Saturday no less, and fixed me right up. 02Kool actually had a live person take my weekend call and they were at my house in about an hour. Brad worked his tail off in the summer heat as my attic is very hot and not easily accessible. Thanks 2Kool and thanks Brad. AC working great now. read more

Brad King came out to diagnose and repair one of our Trane A/C units. He responded quickly, diagnosed the problem, ordered what was needed and fixed the problem to get us back up and going as quickly as possible. Excellent responsiveness and professional workmanship. Thank you! read more

We needed Air Conditioner help!! Brad came fast from O2Kool and got us going again quickly. He was very professional and such a nice guy. Did not over charge us and we will never use anyone else!! read more

Same day service on a problem we were having with our HVAC. Brad sorted it all out super fast. He was very friendly. I'd totally recommend!!

We have used 02 Kool on several issues. These folks answer their phone, respond same day while communicating eta. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks Brad for all you help! read more

Hottest week in Austin on record and the A/C at a rental property went down. I called O2 at 8:30am. They met with the tenants on site and the problem was fixed before noon. The price was great -- they replaced the capacitor and tested everything else without taking advantage of the fact that I wasn't there. Before I called O2, I called 2-3 other companies-- all had multiple day waiting lists. However, calling those companies first made me appreciate O2 availability, service, and honesty even more. Needless to say O2 will be my only call going forward. read more

Chris at O2Kool is fantastic! Always knows what is wrong and fixes it a more than reasonable rates. He came out today (Saturday) and knew immediately what to go look for based on my description. Didn't take him long to get me back up and running which was greatly appreciated in this 100 degree heat. He's also very personable and takes the time to explain the issues and what to do about them in the future. read more

Chris and the guys at O2 Kool are great. I have used them previously for minor things and they are very responsive. A couple weeks ago I needed to replace my unit after 23 years. Brad had done an estimate last year and even with price increases in 2023 Chris worked with me to give virtually the same price. I even suggested replacing a couple of optional things and Chris said you dont need that, save your money. That is so refreshing to hear. I would definitely recommend them!! read more

Our A/C unit stopped working in 100+ degree heat. I called for service early the next day and they were able to send a technician out that afternoon (another 100+ degree day). The technician was very knowledgeable about the brand and model of our unit, determined the issue quickly, and was able to get it working again that day. He also showed me some basic maintenance techniques that I can perform occasionally to help keep the unit running smoothly. I highly recommend O2 Kool and plan to call them again anytime I need service. read more

Thanks again guys for taking care of the new install of my central AC with heat pump! I really appreciate the prompt service and also thank you for correcting so many things that were wrong with the original installation of my old system. In August y'all did my new mini-split and now a full system at our ranch house and both times we have been extremely happy working with your team. Thanks again!!! read more

Brad is my new AC guy for life! I hope his employer knows what a fabulous employee he has there! He is fast, friendly, reliable, responsible. Above all he is HONEST and will not try to sell you something you DO NOT NEED!! The prices are very reasonable and I trust that he is doing only what is really needed and not ripping me off. That is rare quality to find in a business these days, which is why O2Kool will always have my business from now on! I also forgot to mention how talented and knowledgeable Brad is at his trade. If I could give him 10 stars I would! read more

As an electrical engineer, there were obvious flaws in the technician's troubleshooting technique. Know your technician's credentials.

I first called these guys in Aug 2020. My AC went out and they came out quickly to repair/replace it. They (Brad) busted up the trim around the unit closet and left somewhat of a mess, but I was just glad to get it up and running again and did not choose to make it an issue. Last year in 2023, the unit went down again. Took them longer to come out this time. They had to order the needed part (blower motor) and they were not sure when they would get the part. During the extended time that my unit was out, we were having record breaking temps. I got no call backs or updates. Calls went un-answered. But they finally came back out and replaced the motor, but found another issue which he said he "by-passed" so I would have air. When that part came in, he would bring it out and replace it at no additional charge. That NEVER happened!! Surprise, surprise, this year the blower motor went out again, Aug. 6 this month. They did not come back out until the next day, no heads up call, just showed up. Yep, same issue. He would have to order the part, but he was going to go to a place and call some others and see if he could come up with one. Never called back, so I called and talked to Chris. He was going to have him call me back, which he did. It would be 3-5 days before they could get it. As soon as it comes in, they will be out. Here it is the 22nd of August and they haven't called or been back out. More days on end of triple digit temps, much like last year. I'm not a stupid person, I did call someone else. Chapman's H &A got here in less than an hour and I had running A/C in under two hours. I have not heard a word from O2 Kool and I am not holding my breath that I ever will. But I will also never call them again. If you ask me, you shouldn't either. They are less than professional, honest, honorable, or qualified. DO NOT trust them. read more

J. C. came same day I called. All work done quickly and professionally with advice on how to save some money in the future. Will definitely be a customer from now on. read more

Amazing service , extremely quick, I am so grateful, you want it done quick and right, call

O2 Kool bailed us out of a home warranty claim nightmare. Our home warranty company, Total Protect, wanted to do a band aid repair on our 15+ year old unit. After considerable back and forth with Total Protect, we took their (paltry) cash-out offer, and ended up replacing our entire unit (air handler and outside condenser) through O2 Kool. They installed a top of the line Trane unit at a very fair price. Through the process we dealt with Chris the owner, Katie the office manager, JC a service tech (and sometimes salesman!), Brad and Josua (sp?) the installers. To a person they were all professional, polite, concerned for our situation, and eager to help us get cold air blowing again! We can't thank them enough for the help they provided. They will be our go to HVAC contractors at Lake LBJ, in Austin and in San Antonio! read more

We called these guys at 1:45am when we got into town to discover our AC was busted. Remarkably, they answered at that ghastly hour and agreed to come by at 7:30am. Our whole unit needed replacing and was all sorted by 3pm. Truly amazing service. Thank you for saving our weekend! read more

Chris came to our rescue here in Austin, at night, like a white knight in shining armor when our AC was on the blink. He was professional and has a very positive personality. It was obvious he was knowledgeable and the best part-straight forward. He repaired the air handler on the spot. After getting a very reasonable quote we opted to replace our unit since it was 14 years old. But there was no pressure to do so. Four days later his team arrived on time and got us taken care! Thanks to everyone at this "cool", family owned company! read more

They showed up again to save the day! Thanks so much to Butch once again for coming to our family's rescue. If you ever need any help with your heating or cooling issues these guys are the ones to call. read more

This was the second time we called Chris with O2 Kool to service our A/C unit. He and his crew had it fixed and cooling within minutes. Highly recommended! read more

They were so wonderful. Butch was great. They fixed a problem that another company did and walked me through it. I will never use another company again. read more

Show up on time at anytime. I have used them twice and have found them to be responsive whether during the week or weekend. Just replaced one of my units after waiting on the original installer to call back. After no response from Highland Lakes AC I called O2Kool and they came out ASAP. Price for replacement was fair and installed promptly. Great service!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about O2 Kool. Chris and his crew have always had our back ever since they installed new dual A/C units over 2 years ago. Most recently our downstairs unit stopped blowing cool air. Not only was it uncomfortable, but our tropical fish were at risk (due to the high water temps). We called O2 Kool early on Sunday morning, not knowing what to expect, especially since it was Labor Day weekend. Amazingly, they arrived within a few hours and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within 30 minutes. Even better, parts and labor were covered under warranty. If you need new HVAC units, call O2 Kool. They'll give you a good price, quick installation and great service to back it up. read more

O2 Kool did a fantastic job!!! Called for help when my A/C froze over in 100' weather, JC arrived the same day. Called again for help when drain pipe backed up, help arrived the same day. They did a fantastic job both times. Went out of their way to find & fix the problem. Will definitely be calling soon to replace the unit. They are awesome! read more

I have had O2 Kool out to my place in Kingsland for two different problems with my HVAC system, and both times they have responded with excellent and competent service! I recommend them. read more

This review has nothing to do with their A/C service but has more so do to with their lack of regard for our community. Exactly 25 minutes ago at 5p.m. On Friday I was driving down 1431 headed to Marble Falls. I was on the winding road with 2 vehicles in front of me. We were approaching a turn and a hill and the lines signaled a no passing zone. Well the Kool A/C driver apparently didn't care. He passed me and attempted to pass the Kia in front of me when he then ran the Kia off the road because a car was headed his direction. Not soon after he ran the Kia off the road he then passed a Sentra again in a no passing zone with oncoming traffic. Imagine my surprise when I ended up 3 cars behind him at a light in Marble Falls. His Truck # ended in 87. Your blatant disregard for fellow drivers in a community that you are attempting to gain business from makes me wonder what type of people you hire that could have possibly killed someone today. read more

Let me share my sad little story with a very happy ending.... Mother has moved to assisted living and I am residing in her home and getting it ready to sell. Enter the A/C issues. Get A/C fixed without being aware there is a hose in the attic with a good crack. Next, I leave out of state for a week and a half. Came back home to a mess. I called O2Kool..... During the late evening hours, they're service man, James R. came to Austin. I can not believe how quickly the leak was repaired and he installed new and up to date material. James explained what was going on up in the attic and what installation he performed. Coming out at 10:00 p.m.,extremely pleasant and proficient..... What more could one ask for!!! Thank you O2Kool! read more
