The overhead (kitchen) fluorescent panels were all open. The job took 25 mins at most to replace two ballasts and reconnect the color-coded wires. TOTAL COAST $183. $75 was for the local service call and $70 for the labor . . . and the capable apprentice did all the work. ALWAYS, always get a quote first, and I've no qualms when there is work for TWO men to do concurrently, but that's a bit excessive for a 25-min. svc. call and minimal effort. Politely asking the co. owner to reduce the labor cost by half yielded no results. Like the Poet Edgar Allen Poe's raven was quoted: "NEVERMORE."

I called CHW at 3:15 to report this and spoke with a very polite Shannel. While I was on hold, she placed a call to the technician and it went to the answering machine. I later did the same with the same result- no response yet. When any service provider , for any reason, cannot keep a commitment, that person needs to let the customer know. My experience over the last three days convinces me that Absolute HVAC is not to be relied upon.

For the service I needed, they were amazing! I was adding a cold water tap for filtered cold water. I had the hole drilled in the countertop and just needed someone to install and split our water line. The facet was in a hard to reach area and I just didn't want to make any mistakes so I called SP and they were able to schedule me for a visit in just a few days. They gave me a time frame and they are great about communication. They sent me a text the day before to remind me of the appointment and the technician sent me a few text messages letting me know he was on his way about how long it would take for him to arrive. Calvin was my technician and when he arrived, I showed him what I needed and right away he went to work. Overall, it might have taken an hour and when he was finished, he showed me the work he did and everything was working perfectly. I know many people might have done this job themselves but I just didn't want any hassles and preferred to have someone who knows what they are doing, someone who does work like this every day. They are very professional, it was easy to schedule an appointment and the prices are fair. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

It wasn't, so I had to remove wires from the connection, run them through the short conduit and waterproof connection and reconnect the wires so that it would look passable to the electrical inspector. Nice guys to work with but not quite complete...fortunately I am former remodeling guy.
