I have a business nearby so when my A/C went out I contacted them. They came over and said in my A/C a had wire shorted against a freon line and blown a hole in the line. All my freon leaked out. Bummer. The great news was they fixed the hole and filled the machine with freon and we were back up and cool in about an hour. What great and fast service. Have recommended them to other folks. Technician was Mike Make sure to get second opinions before going with anything these guys diagnose. Service provided was ok, but didn't seem to be knowledgeable about diagnosing or troubleshooting the issues. Another company we went with, which I will not list, jumped in and found the issue right away. If you find a good AC company or technician, stick with them. Quoted 2 month lead times for basic job and quoted $2k to rerun a drain line. Called another company who is doing it for $200.

Hooked up the mini split in our guest room wrong and it caused water damage. Didn't hook up the drain pan in the attic and it leaked through the ceiling which fortunately is OSB, so they got off lucky. The house is next on their list and will update my review with how that goes. Maybe 3rd times a charm? Clearly would not recommend them 2017 update They came out to fix a few months back, i paid the service charge, they said they no longer will service the unit they installed. It quit working altogether a few weeks ago and they won't fix it. Do not use these people unless you like spending money on AC units that don't work and the installers do not stand behind their product. read more

The service was great. The only draw back was the wait time from my original service call. I called last Wednesday and the earliest appointment they could make was this Wednesday. So we had to wait a week. Not the end of the world because our refrigerator was running, just had an issue with the lights and controls. We've used Indoor for the past five years with excellent results. Dishwashers, ovens, AC and heat they have serviced it all. Have met four of their technicians over the years, each was friendly and knowledgeable. Once or twice I went on line to compare parts prices versus what they charged, they have always been within a couple of dollars. I was in a real pickle Saturday. We had guests from cool CA, so of course our 2 year old air conditioner went on the fritz. I called numerous companies hoping to get a tech out quickly as we had plans for the day. I received an immediate call back and they went out of their way to send someone within 45 minutes. Can't say enough good things about this company. Saw several of my neighbors replacing their systems using Bryant units from Indoor Weather Professionals in 2010. Already had 3 other quotes and IWP was the best. Very respectful of my home and my yard and garden while installing. Spent time teaching me what I needed to know to get the most out of my system and was very happy to have lower electric bills with the new unit. 2 yrs later my house isn't getting cool. Got home late to a hot house and called Indoor Weather Professionals expecting and expected (around midnight) to get an answering machine but wanted to get in line for someone to see me. To my surprise they have a live person answering service! 30 minutes later IWP called me...someone was up late and decided to check messages..called me and scheduled to come out at 8am the next morning. Replaced a piece of equipment damaged by a City of Austin power surge and had me fixed up and cool! Last night I called them after hours, got the same friendly live message center and a call back this morning to schedule a same day appt. Today I signed up for the maintenance protection plan which included complete inspection inside and out, blowing out the drain (which I had neglected), answering some questions I had to keep the system running at it's best and now they will call me to schedule my fall check-up for the furnace season. The service rep Steve was great...called me when he was on his way, insisted on taking off his shoes in my house, answered my questions, explained what he was doing and why and was in and out quickly with my system running well. This is customer service the way it should be! And the price is very reasonable - less than what I've been quoted at big box stores and from other ads I've seen. Gerald with Indoor Weather Professionals was AMAZING to work with. When I got home from work yesterday my AC was out and needless to say it was hot. I called a few places that wanted me to leave a voice mail and I decided that the first real person that I spoke to would get my business but that was not the case I called another company that wanted $148.00 to come out after hours. When Gerald called me, after leaving my information with a after hours company, he stated how much it would be to come out which was, I think, $83.00. In addition, he set a good expectation for me when he would be able to make it even though it was several hours later, I still appreciated the fact the he was honest. He told me some possible things that could be wrong and said that he would call me before he headed my way. He did call and unfortunately my phone didn't ring. He left a message and an hour later, I called him back. He was there within the hour now 11pm but that was my fault. He fixed my AC right away and it was blowing cold when he left. Fast, proficient and took the time to answer my questions and show me what was wrong. I appreciate his assistance in getting my AC working again. The refrigerator in the house I was moving into failed, but I had a home warranty. I had just had a BAD experience getting my disposal not-fixed due to the service company coming 2 1/2 hours late. Indoor Weather Professionals notified me at the specified interval before the appt. allowing me to get work done rather than sit and waste time waiting for a serviceman. Tre showed up promptly, identified the problem, and even got my disposal running (not fixed by other company) unfortunately it is leaking and will need to be replaced. I intend to request them for services they cover under my contract. Unfortunately, they aren't one of the "plumbing companies, so I won't be able to get him back for that, but after recent experiences with other service companies and utilities, littered with poor communication, unprofessional behavior, shoddy work and damage to my property this such a pleasant, efficient professional job.
