Sadly, we don't have Hey Tea in Sacramento, yet! We made sure it is on the itinerary for our 3-day weekend trip in SF. We came here twice! Parking is very difficult, especially on Friday but worth the trouble of parking further and walk over. Every time I tell myself that I will get something else. I end up getting my love - Coconut Mango Boom. Especially when Mango is in season right now! It's such a refreshing, light and delicious drink. I'm mildly lactose and my stomach is totally happy and in agreement with coconut milk. I also had a sip of my friend's matcha latte. It was very smooth and not water down matcha like other places. Download the app and order in advance. There is only one kiosk in the store and this location is super busy and popular.
This location is located next to the Moscone Center, which was very convenient during a work conference at the Moscone Center. I got drinks in the afternoon as a pick me up and ordered via the app. The wait times were not too bad and worth it!
My family thinks I go to every tea/boba shops in the City. I mean, they are not completely correct but they are not wrong either. I TRY! I love exploring different shops across the City and tea/coffee/boba shops are some of the best to explore due to versatility in style and price. Some of them I get delivered because it's just easier for my schedule. Recently tried their grape slushie drink and found it refreshing. I also like their fun cup designs. Will return to try other drinks. Located on 4th street between Mission and Howard.
Delicious King jasmine guava tea with boba ($8ish). Quality fruit flavor. Not too sweet. However, it took over 20 minutes for my drink after I ordered at the kiosk. I think the secret is to order via the app or online ahead of time. Service did not seem to handle disgruntled customers--I'm going to be honest, I was not the only one! People were disappointed by how long it took (it was very busy.) Seating is very minimal because of its prime location across from Moscone and next to the Metreon. Please do not drive here. Take BART or Muni or walk or bike. Parking would be very difficult.
Not terrible but not great. Felt like it was a pretty limited menu and there were a number of things that they were sold out of when I went. Dropped by on a late afternoon mid-week. There was a conference happening nearby so the shop was pretty packed. There are two tablets to order from or you can order at the counter (if someone is available to help you). I really dislike the boba shops that rely mostly on tablet ordering because if you're not familiar with their menu and stop by on a whim, like I did, you feel pressured to rush through the menu so you're not holding up the line. About halfway through scrolling the menu, I was bored with the vast majority of the options and a couple of the drinks I wanted were sold out. The only other one that sounded genuinely appealing and interesting was the pistachio cloud jasmine, which they at least had in stock. Despite the large crowd standing around waiting, my drink came in less than ten minutes. It had a good nutty flavor and was the perfect amount of sweetness, nothing cloying. But you had to mix the pistachio foam into the drink if you wanted it to permeate the entire thing, otherwise it was just sitting on top and the drink didn't have any other pistachio flavoring. It was a good drink, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find a Heytea to order it again. No problems with this particular location, the staff were friendly and the drink was made well, I'm just not impressed by Heytea generally speaking and don't really have much desire to return or to seek out other locations.
Nice tea shop. Loved that the guava green grape was not overly sweet. Incredibly packed with convention attendees but a nice break from the day's sessions. Convenient location. Qualified staff. Efficient processes. Allow your tea makers some time and you will be delighted with your drink!
One of my favorite tea spots, that doesn't necessarily have Boba but it can be considered a boba/milk tea spot. This location is right outside of the metreon, the entrance is outside and it can be busy! You can download the app and order before pick up, they have a self serve kiosk and people also taking orders. It's always so busy and such a flow at any heytea I go to, the workers are always so hard working and make hundreds of drinks. I did an order for my friends, I personally like the mango grapefruit bloom, it feels like a drink you'd get on vacation! My friends got coconut mango bloom, cloud bloom (cloud is the cheese topping), pistachio cloud coconut, triple supreme matcha latte. I'd like to try some of their other drinks in the future! There's no street parking but there's a parking garage across the street.
Wholy Moley! Where have you been my whole life? This drink was the bomb Coconut Mango Blue has my heart (mango, coconut milk + jelly, sago, jasmine tea and spirulina to make it BLUE! I'm addicted! Service was fast considering how many drinks they are making per hour (looked like alot). Clean storefront and you order from the kiosk.
I love heytea!! Their mango coconut boom is so good! Tip is to order through the app 15 mins before since they tend to have a long queue. There's also coupons on the app to save $$. It's a grab and go but the interior is usually pretty clean, and super efficient.
Heard about HeyTea at a Yelp event this past weekend. Perfect timing because kids asked for it on our day out in the city. Super long wait, couldn't order online. But well worth it. The guava white grape was delicious, light and refreshing, great combination. Girls had the mango coconut which was yummy as well. Worth the wait!!
Solid heytea chain The taste is consistent to other chains You order on a kiosk and your number is called out. Got my regular triple Matcha latte and it was great! Quick grab and go service. There's about four seats total inside. So not really a sit down drink shop, despite the store being pretty big.
We love treating ourselves to Heytea as a little treat to break up the workday! The FiDi location is clean, bright and modern. Best of all, everything runs pretty smoothly even with a crowd. Pro tip: order ahead via their app :) I loooove their Triple Supreme Matcha Latte! Not too sweet, ft. a creamy & salty foam atop high-caff matcha... such a perfect combo! It strikes the perfect balance - pleasantly earthy, satisfying and refreshing. Highly recommend if you like matcha that actually tastes like matcha! All in all, this is def one of the better matcha drinks I've had around here and a place we'll keep in rotation :)
Be prepared for long wait times especially during weekends, but I understand the hype! The Coconut Mango Boom is truly sublime... so refreshing; great textures with the sago, fresh mango chunks, and coconut jelly; and the flavor is rich without being too sweet or artificial. Might be one of my favorite boba shop menu items of all time? oop I've also tried their Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea--the boba is so soft and delectable, definitely on the sweeter side compared to their other drinks but the cheese cream/foam balances it out well. Visited on a busy Friday afternoon and waited upward of 30-40 minutes. Ordering was quick on the kiosk, but I wish I ordered ahead to save more time! I recommend downloading the app for discounts, but more importantly, for the QR code feature to track how many more drinks are ahead of you/the estimated wait time that updates in real time. It's a small grab-and-go space, so that feature allowed me to kill time at YBG/Metreon without worrying about constantly checking if my drink is ready. Overall, wholeheartedly recommend for high quality drinks and it's definitely worth the wait if you have the time!

We stopped by here for a drink on a warm city day. They have self-ordering which was pretty quick, but we came in on a Saturday and waited about 20+ minutes for our drinks. It is a decent space to wait in without seating. I got the pistachio jasmine tea which wasn't too sweet and had a nice floral and nutty flavor to it. It was a bit pricy for the size but flavor was good. read more

My favorite boba place! I love that you can choose the zero calories sweetener option. Their boom drinks are my calorie they're so refreshing with bots of fresh fruit inside. I always order ahead since the wait can be a while if you don't. They don't really have anywhere to sit inside, but it's in the metreon so you can walk around or sit in the mall. read more

Super strong matcha flavor for their drinks! I recently ordered the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte, and wow it was a blast of matcha flavor. Not for the faint of heart and you really have to like the flavor to drink this one. It has not only matcha cloud on top of the matcha latte but also matcha mochi and matcha jelly. I always get less sugar and it tastes great! The mango grapefruit bloom is also a hit-- super fresh fruit mix so well with the sago anf slush. It's nice that there's jasmine tea too so you get a bit of caffeine (unlike most places). Be warned, try to order via the app if you can! Sometimes the app is a bit glitchy though. If not, there's almost always a line and it will take a while to receive your drink. It's pretty crowded inside and very few stools to sit at so I recommend just taking your drink to go. read more

Came on a weekday post work and there was no line. They have a a lot of milk tea and fruit tea options but decided to try the most popular option, the coconut mango sago drink. Ordered it with regular ice and less sweet and it was just right. A bit too much coconut flavor for me but would come back to try their milk tea options! The aesthetic is pretty but they have limited seating. We ended up going to the metreon to sit and talk. read more
One of the prettiest boba drinks I've had - the Coco-Foam Matcha Latte was super creamy, well sweetened (make sure to mix it up for), and matcha forward. The boba is some of the best I've had in the area! We ordered online in the afternoon and it took ~10 minutes to be ready - quite busy even at 2 pm. Was craving boba since I haven't had some in months so my friend recommended this place! It did not disappoint! Passion fruit blast had a perfect amount of sweetness and their boba had a soft and chewy texture. What threw me off was the passion fruit seeds as every sip I'd take, I'd end up chewing the boba and seeds together lol. Not really a problem but not used to it. Another thing was that we tried to sit onto the high chairs facing the window, but as we sat down both became wobbly and made a loud noise and the screw-on bolts came off. Service was quick, staff were friendly, and came during the evening so it wasn't busy at all. Heard that the slim boost tea was popular, so I'll be back again in the future. read more

Heytea is a very popular boba tea place in Asia especially China. I only recently started to see Heytea open up in the Bay Area. I know there is a location in Daly City but today I visited the one located in downtown. Place is really clean and the wait wasn't too bad today -- probably 5 min to get my drink. The most popular drinks are the ones with mango like the Coconut Mango Boom. I have tried the Mango drinks before and do like and recommend them but find them kind of heavy at times. Feels like eating an entire meal! I've also tried their Matcha based drinks as well but did not find the Matcha as high quality as other places locally that focus on matcha. Today, I tried their Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea. I only ordered 50% sweet which was good enough for me. Wish there was more tea flavor in the drink -- tasted more like a Latte than milk tea. In my opinion, I think the Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea at Tiger Tea in Burlingame is a better. read more
I went here on a Sunday around 5pm and there was a long wait. The place is small, so maybe that added onto the long wait? This was my first time trying this boba place so I was fine with a long wait. Anyways, we ordered the Coconut Mango Boom and the Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk. It seemed like the mango boom drinks were very popular on the day I went, so I'm glad I was able to get one. The mango boom drink wasn't too sweet and had a good fruity flavor to it without it tasting artificial. Other popular drinks I saw were the matcha latte drinks. I'd recommend this place! It's always fun trying new boba places and they use real tea leaves here too! read more

The drinks are ridiculously good but our wait time was also stupid long. We ordered on the kiosk, but you can also order with the cashier. Maybe it's because it's the weekend, but we waited over 30 minutes for two drinks. They have a queue screen with the drinks but it was super inaccurate. I would suggest to order ahead for sure. That being said, I got the triple matcha and it was so delicious. I've never had matcha jelly, but I really enjoyed it! They have the option to replace it with boba. My boyfriend got the coconut mango boom and he was also very pleased with his drink and that the mango tasted really fresh. read more

The Coconut Mango Boom is my dream dessert drink. I fell in love at first sip. I've now been here twice, and instead of trying something new I got it again; it's THAT good. I get it with less ice and less sweet, and it's perfect. The creamy coconut, sweet mango, sago, and pudding are an amazing combination. Service is efficient, both times I've waited about 7 to 8 minutes for my drink with other orders ahead of me. There is minimal seating and when it's busy you don't want to stay in the small store anyway, but it's a short walk to sit inside Metreon to enjoy your drinks! It's probably a good thing that I don't live close enough to a HEYTEA, because I would go multiple times a week. But if they're thinking of adding more Bay Area locations, please bring HEYTEA to Walnut Creek! read more

Overhyped. Sago is good but rest of drink is filled with ice and filler stuff like pudding instead of what I want which is mango. Also what is with the awful stuffy smell at this store. Hard to associate fresh ingredient with a store that has such a weird suffocating smell. And wow 20 min wait for a mediocre drink. Not a fan read more

Hey T is one of my favorite Boba places in San Francisco. conveniently located right by the Metron AMC theater near Union Square so that's our little guilty pleasure when we go to the movies. Our go to is the coconut mango blue. It's literally a dessert in a Boba form. Some of their other slushy's are really good as well. We normally get 30% sugar, which is just right. There's always a long line so expect a bit of a away time although there are always a lot of workers. They are a very busy location. read more

In summary: Overall can't complain, but also wasn't blown away either. Definitely high quality drinks, perhaps the best in the fidi area of SF! I ordered both the triple supreme matcha drink and the coconut mango drink, and both were refreshing. I ordered the standard default sweetness, which is half sweet already. For the coconut mango boom - I just wish the mango had more flavor. I did really enjoy the sago/mochi/pudding that was in it though! Triple Supreme Matcha - delicious, but tasted more like a Single Regular Matcha. I was expecting it to be so strong, but instead it was on par with a standard Matcha Maiko or Maruwu drink. Not a bad thing - but perhaps oversold me on expectations Overall a solid option for the area. Service was quite slow, but I went on the day there was a big sale so I won't blame them for that. read more
This Heytea is just as good as the one back home. Can't stress how much everyone needs to try a coconut mango boom. Just a really great drink. Fruity and refreshing, perfect combination of mango and coconut milk. I actually recommend getting it "super sweet". That's really just a regular sweet for me. My wife has at least 2 a week and my newest drink at Heytea is the hot jasmine milk tea. Also highly recommend. Not super easy to park for this Heytea, but worth it. read more

Finished up a dentist appointment nearby, so I decided to treat myself. I ordered the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte, which comes with jelly and a soft top. I ordered it with less sugar, but it was still definitely on the sweeter side and honestly tasted very similar to Starbucks' matcha. If you like sweeter matcha drinks, you'll probably enjoy it. I also ordered the Coconut Mango Boom with light sweetness. It was good, but nothing particularly memorable. I'd say it tastes pretty similar to what you can get at most other boba shops. One downside is that they don't offer any milk alternatives, which was a bit disappointing. Ordering was also a little confusing. There was one self-service kiosk and only one cashier. I wasn't sure how to order at first, but after looking around for a bit, the cashier came out and helped me. Overall, the drinks were decent, but nothing really stood out enough to make me go out of my way to come back. 7/10 read more

So happy there's a Heytea in the city!! I get the hype around this place - they have beautiful drinks and they taste just as great as they look. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and the busyness came in waves - when we ordered there wasn't a line, but afterwards we sat inside for a bit and there was a considerable line building up (there was also a convention going on so lots of people were coming from there). Boom, it was gone instantly. Fresh, light, and refreshing. D r i n k Mango grapefruit boom ($7+): can barely taste the tea but the mango was fresh with chunks and worked well with the grapefruit bits. The sago and pudding made it a solid dessert in a cup. Appreciate the ice and sweetness level adjustments you can make. S e r v i c e Staff was courteous and helpful. A m b i a n c e You are greeted with floral scents and neutral aesthetics. Giant test tube decor to display their teas. Unfortunately, they do not have milk alternatives so a little bummed I couldn't try the milk tea or latte options. The place is a modern boba shop catering to the simplistic style and appeal. You can go order with a person or do the self serve kiosk. The self serve kiosk was easy to use and had different sections based on what you were looking for. A lot of the things on the menu I was allergic to so I had limited options but I was glad to know they had something that I could have. I got the supreme brown sugar boba. It was average just like anything other boba you can get somewhere else. The prices of all the drinks are all on the pricier side as well. read more

I don't leave reviews much but as a long time customer of this location, and seeing the quality control of the drinks declining more and more, I have to leave a review. The drinks at this location have been so inconsistent. We ordered four drinks for delivery, two of the drinks were the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte. When we got the drinks, one HAD the matcha cloud layer on top as it should, but the other one DID NOT have the matcha cloud layer AT ALL. Not even a little foam. This has been happening so frequently, that it feels like it just depends on the workers' moods to add it or not spontaneously. We pay the higher price for the matcha cloud / for this drink, so the least you can do is to provide your customers with accurate drinks, especially if you are charging extra $2 service fee per drink for deliveries. Don't even get me started on the Jasmine Milk Tea / Jasmine Latte. We were so happy when they added the option to upgrade to a larger size for this drink (500mL to 650mL). When they first rolled out the 650mL option, they would fill the cup to nearly the top even WITHOUT ice. Now, when we order the larger upgraded 650mL size, they always leave a huge gap of at least 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch from the top. A few times, the drinks were almost a whole inch away from the top of the cup, which is the worst I've seen. This is so messed up, like basically pouring the regular 500mL size into the bigger 650mL cup and call it a day. What a scam. We're so disappointed in the declining quality of the drinks at this location. read more
Lots of Boba places popping up in San Francisco. HeyTea is a Boba Tea chain store which originated in China and was the first to introduce the first cheese tea. This location is located across the street of the Moscone Center West Hall on 4th street. There is always a line here when I passed by depending on the date and time. They offer Matcha tea and Boba tea along with shakes. I had to try the Cloud Mango and it was tasty. A good boba spot in the city. 2025 is the year of the snake and the flavor here strikes fast like Cobra HeyTea has a good variety of Fruit Tea and Boba read more
My second time coming here. If im being honest I dont really like heytea just because I dont like coconut or matcha. But the brown sugar milk tea is pretty good and the boba is super warm and soft. Its always really busy in there so your order takes forever but the smell is amazing in there. Its more on the pricey side and you finish your drink pretty fast because its thicker. The place is cute itself but I probably wont be spending more money here. Theres only two seats available. read more

Came here twice and wanted to write a review on both visits. First visit was during their opening three days, bogo. The line wasn't too long and the queue time was short. I ordered the matcha cloud and it tasted kinda watery but the foam was good! I wanted to give it another chance so I visited again recently. Second visit I got the matcha smoothie and this time it was great. Strong matcha flavor and good boba texture. Will be coming back read more
HeyTea was at peak hours Friday afternoon. I admire the full staff efficiency as we waited give or take 10 minutes even with a crowd inside. I really like the open lighting of the shop even though takeout is the way to go. Mulberry boom with jasmine tea was nice. Not sugary even at regular sweet. The tea taste wass not very apparent but the mulberry fruit bits were good. Not too icy either, I chose light ice. Definitely fresh and clean when it comes to drink quality, which is their concept. I upgraded from 500ml to 650ml for +$1 for a total of 8.49. My friends grape guava (green and purple grape) were quite good. The herbal tea note comes through with the guava fruitiness, but the guava isn't overpowering. I'd probably go for a grape drink next time since it was that combo of fruity/tea freshness I like. read more
As always, the store has a lovely aroma of tea. They were doing a BOGO promotional special for Wicked. The drinks were matcha with pink pomelo cream on top. I loved the little "Wicked" stenciling on the top. Service was quick and nice. The ambiance is very in-and-out boba shop. There isn't much seating, so plan to take your drinks to Yerba Buena instead. Ordering on the app is the way to go, they tell you the wait time and it's also easy to keep track of rewards that way. read more

Heyyyyyy....tea! The tea was definitely verbal AND herbal...I've been hearing great things about this boba spot opening up and have been wanting to try it out myself. There was a crowd when I walked in to order at the kiosk, but the amount would lessen over the span of 5-10 minutes max as people were grabbing their drinks and staff were preparing the orders (DoorDash and in-house). Lots of staff working behind the counter. The inside was airy and clean. Love the fresh smell of tea per usual. A few of my friends suggested the Coconut Mango Boom to me, but I was craving matcha. I got the Matcha Jasmine Tea with Brown Sugar Boba, which came with a matcha cloud foam. It was pretty strong matcha and super creamy, but I couldn't taste the Jasmine tea / base at all. The boba was warm when I got it, while still being a bit chewy and had lots of (sweet) flavor. I'd recommend lessening the sugar on this one if you add any toppings. I wish I just got the drink itself to be honest. I look forward to trying more of their drinks and get a better idea on the menu! I saw several people get the Red Blossom Milk Tea. It is very pricey though ($8-$9 with tax) for one drink. read more
