Good boba! Be careful of all the 5 star reviews on Google. We went during opening weekend and they will give a free magnet (very cute magnet) once you show them a 5 star google review. Lots of people didn't have a chance to try their drinks yet and rushed to leave a 5 star review to claim the magnet. A bit unethical of them, especially since they just opened and should encourage a honest review. Back to the drinks... The line was long! We waited about 45 minutes from waiting in line to getting our drinks. I got the Mango Coconut Boom (30% sugar) and I loved it! Tasted like fresh mango! The sago was a good texture! My husband got the Supreme Brown Sugar Boba. I thought it was okay. Bouncy boba, but I didn't love as much. They use paper straws for more eco friendliness, which I do appreciate the initiatives. However, it does make it a little tougher to suck on the drink if it's left in too long. But just a side note to not leave the straw in too long. Been to the NYC location a few times, and it was really good and worth the wait. However, this location was disappointing. The flavors of the mango and coconut were mild, the jellies used were bland and flavorless, the boba was hard, and the milk tea flavor was weak and wasn't strong enough. The line(s) were chaotic and unorganized-multiple unclear lines for ordering and pick up. Hopefully it's just new and trying to sort itself out. They do validate parking. I decided to get the green tea with cheesefoam after smelling the fragrant tea after entering the store. The cheese was good but the tea wasn't as strong as some of the other teapresso place. The grape drink was also not as good as the one I had before outside of the US. Maybe also because of the long wait time hyped it up too much for me. I ordered in person, after paying I assumed my order was in and would be called out at some point. The staff taking my order left the register after taking my order so I didn't get a receipt or anything after paying. After waiting a long time inside and seeing a couple of takeout orders getting picked up, I thought I would ask. It turned out the drink was already ready, despite no one calling out the order. I got a hot brown sugar bobo milk tea, it tasted pretty average for $9 and was lukewarm. The straw wasn't wide enough for the boba, though I didn't bother staying around long enough to check if they had different straws. Might get takeout if I decide to visit again. Reason for my rating is that they forgot to put mochi in my Triple Supreme Matcha Latte which was the main reason why I ordered it. Came for the grand opening and then came again the next day! Between the 2 days I ordered 4 different drinks and tried probably 8 other flavors as well. Pretty much tried the whole menu except the cheese drinks because why are we putting cheese in boba. With that being said, the mango drinks are by far the best. And yumberry is by far the worst. Idk how they can put the word "yum" in the name. If you are a fan of Hui Lau Shan, you'll love this place it's basically like a huilaushan dessert bowl blended in a cup. And if you like the mango drinks here and haven't been to hui lau shan I highly recommend. Anyways, good stuff. Prices are higher but quality definitely feels higher and there is more STUFF in the drinks (like a dessert bowl). Only complaint apart from the yumberry drink is the location. Since I am not the type to shop at Gucci and Hermes, it is pretty inconvenient to park at bravern mall just to get a drink but hey if you do shop there, I highly recommend stopping by and then venmoing me for the recommendation. read more

I went there on the second day. I got the grape boom and it was okay, despite it becoming one of the top sellers. Paper straw was given and it was very difficult to suck the large clear jelly up the straw. They were way too big for the straw and it would clog my straw multiple times. So excited that heytea has opened in Bellevue and I no longer have to drive to Burnaby! I was lucky and was able to visit before they opened and try out two of their drinks; I got my go-to coconut mango boom and decided to try out one of their milk teas so I also got the brown sugar boba milk tea. Both drinks were super good and high quality, but personally would recommend the coconut mango boom more. I think what makes heytea stand out from the competition are their fresh ingredients, so their fruit drinks always blow me away with how good they are. If you want it to be less sweet (like I usually do), you can adjust the sugar level. I got least sweet for the brown sugar boba milk tea and less sweet for the coconut mango boom and that was perfect for me. Now that they have opened the lines are hours long so unfortunately I haven't been since - I heard their wait can be up to two or even three hours. read more

Horrible ordering process. Cashier can barely hear anything because standing next to 6 other people crammed in tight space. I repeated the order 3x and they still got it wrong. How difficult is hot milk tea, no sugar? Their receipt doesn't actually show what you ordered, just wait 15-20mins for your drink to come out wrong then they can't remake it. You have to place a new order and wait longer. Why would they not have a screen to self-order? Why does the receipt not list the order for accuracy? Why do they need almost 20 people working at the same time with bad customer service? Maybe that's why their tiny space smella so bad of BO. They should leave the door open.
