    Calzone and prosciutto pizza

Came here for dinner with a friend and we sat inside. The lighting is a bit dim inside. We got two drinks, freedom 55 (coconut rum with Passionfruit liqueur and pineapple juice)and a mocktail: cruel summer (lavender lemon soda). Service was okay we didn't have any issues. I enjoyed the freedom 55, it was good! We got the Lucy sharing plate for appetizers and it came with fried calamari, Mac and cheese ball, flat bread with some sauce. The highlight was the Mac and cheese ball! We also got the prosciutto pizza and the roasted chicken calzone. These were just okay. We ended the night with hazelnut gelato and deep fried cheesecake. These cheesecake was a bit too decadent for my liking, but the hazelnut gelato was pretty good.

We came here after our show for more of a late night bite. Pizza was great, no complaints there as they came hot with thin crust. Ordered a salad and it was OK. This would be good for a quick bite, if you're around the area and looking for some decent pizzas

Came here before a show at The Royal Alexandra for lunch. The space is unassuming from the outside, but has more than meets the eye. We enjoyed the carbonara and the chicken Parmesan and the chicken parm was absolutely the star of the show. I've never had a dish like this that was so incredibly seasoned. The food was so well priced as well as both dishes plus two pops were less than $60. I can't wait to come back for the chicken parm!!!!

This place has been around for years and more of a bar than restaurant. Popular King St location especially half price martini night. Food (3.75/5) - had light lunch there during week and tried the personal margherita. It was pretty decent... Napoli style... crust had good texture, Sauce works and bit different with bocconcini vs fior di latte. Service (4/5) - server was friendly and attentive. It's slower at night especially martini night. Atmosphere (3.75/5) - smaller and casual with tables along the walls. Overall (3.75/5) - it's a decent choice for a casual bite or drinks. Not really traditional authentic Italian but passable.

Ok. This is the restaurant I always want to try as it has been on King Street for a long while. It is a casual restaurant also sells alcohol. With 2 big screens at the bar to watch sports.l, I am facing them. I went at 3:30pm and can only sit at the bar. Today I tried the winterlicious menu for lunch. Beet salad beats the Mediterranean salad. Prosciutto panini beats the chicken panini. I like the fourless chocolate more than cheesecake galato. Service is prompt.

I can't believe this spot isn't loaded with a ton of 5-star reviews.... We recently took a trip to Toronto and spotted "Hey Lucy" across our hotel. We loved it! Service was wonderful and the food was really, really delicious. They have a cute ambiance which is cozy in the winter and transforms into a rooftop bar during the summer.

We had 2 nights in Toronto, and both nights we came here:) Three blocks from our hotel, it met our needs. This restaurant/bar is bigger than it looks from the street due to its length, and an upstairs patio! which we discovered the 2nd night. The pizzas were good (meat lovers and build your your own) - good crust and sauce for this New Yorker:). The pepperoni calzone was very small, but good flavor as well. The chicken pesto panini was good too, and the fries were good enough. It was martini night ($6.99), and I tried the Freedom 55(?) - I ordered it for the passion fruit liquor, but it mostly tasted like the pineapple juice base. I would try something different I were to do it again. Night 2 I got the salad because I craved it after seeing someone's order the night before, and I don't get enough veges in vacation. The salad looked amazing, and tasted fine although I could've done with fewer bitter leaves. I added shrimp, and it came 4 medium shrimp, at about $2 each- so a bit much. It happened to be wine night, so I got a glass ($6.99) of Malbec which is one of my favs. The ambience was the star, both inside on night 1, and outside on night 2.

A bar/cafe on King west that serves up cafe in an exotic style. Don't let the thin fasade trick you, the bar/cafe is very long and can fit alot of people. Great for casual meetups of up to 4 people. My partner and I had the Winterlicious 23 menu. The items were decent for the cost, but some items were better than others. So make sure you research what you make your order. Calamari - A classic deep fried calamari served with a side of mayo and lemon. Mayo was rather simple and first couple bites were good. After a while, the addition of mayo go too heavy, I feel that I would had prefered some spicy mayo that would have helped cut some of that heaviness. Butternut squash soup - Another classic app, it was creamy, savoury goodness. Wish there was more butternut squash flavour or less creamyness to it. Chicken primavera pasta - This pasta was dissapointing. Chicken breast slices were over cooked. Pasta flavour was bland and seasoning didn't contribute anything to the dish. Would not recommend. Prosciutto pizza - Classic pesto based pizza with prosciutto on top. Would get again and definetly recommend. Tartufo - A complex chocolate gelato with chocolate sauce. Very chocolaty and definetly geared for the chocolate loved. It was too rich for me and I looked to the supplied whipped cream to try and balance out the flavour. Dulce de Leche Fried Cheesecake - A deep fried spring roll with creamcheese filling. this was super heavy and I would not recommend. Overall, felt that items were too heavy and rich. Some dishes were good and would do reasearch on the better items before coming back.

Stopped here for much needed food after just flying into Toronto and going straight to a Blue Jays game! We sat on the rooftop patio, it was so cute up there. They have a great menu, fairly average priced, I could have ordered so many things. We went with the wood fired pizzas, I had the sausage supreme and he had the BBQ chicken. These pizzas were delicious and bigger than expected, we could have shared - if we weren't so hungry. I snapped the picture strategically after already devouring half. The service was great! It was very quick and our server (I didn't catch his name) was super friendly!

I've been going to Hey Lucy's for over 20 years and always loved their Rosemary Chicken Panini. The last time I went, I got a white bread sandwich and the uncaring waitress told me that it was a panini. She couldn't care less when I tried to explain what a panini looks like. Will have second thoughts about going back to one of my favourite places.

Lovely spot with awesome staff. They have amazing deals on difficult days of the week, which can be dangerous (but lots of fun). The food was mediocre avergae. Flavours and portions were on par, but quality and compldxity wise.. it was fairly average . I would certainly return here nonetheless, as it was not disappointing and a very good time!!

We stopped Hey Lucy on the 3rd day of our vacation to Toronto. There were 3 of us and it helped that they offer gluten-free options for one of the people in our party. The bus we caught dropped us off right in front and there was not much of a wait for a table. We were seated at the bar and the bartender was very helpful. I think she could tell we were tourist due to the accents that everyone said we had. I decided to get the Butternut Squash Ravioli that came with Lucy's tomato sauce, goat cheese, spicy pecans & fresh basil. Normally I tend to 86 spicy items, but I actually liked the pecans. I also ordered the Mango Tango drink and I am not gonna lie it was G R E A T. To go to the washroom (bathroom, another tell tell sign that I was a tourist) you had to go downstairs and there were only 2 stalls and not enough space to move around. When I was washing my hands, another woman was hit in the back with the door. All I can say is I am already planning my return trip so I can stop by again.

Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. The line moved quick, even though it wrapped around, we waited for about 20 minutes only. The menu has some cool items, a few fusion dishes and trendy items. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready. Atmosphere (4.75/5) - you really cannot top the view from Kost. It has multiple look out areas besides the patio dining area by the infinity pool.
