Cute spot for Italian food. Lots of yummy options on the regular and seasonal menu. The server was very nice and attentive. we tried the Caesar salad and lasagna. Both were very nice! Really tasty.

Small family owned business- the dinner was good, the tiramisu was amazing! Service was on point. Wine was definitely from Italy, I liked that it felt so homey and like part of their family. They clearly have poured their hearts into taking care of their plants and and making you feel comfortable.

Very tasty food, the waitstaff kinda forget about you, but the food was worth the wait.

Portici was ok, nothing outstanding but also not bad. Got the eggplant walnut dip (good amount, standard taste), pinsa contadina (liked how it had a smokiness to it but would have liked more toppings since the bread part was overpowering) and seafood lasagna (super cheesy so yum, but would have liked more seafood). Great patio. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were good, especially for the Yorkville area.

    Avocado Toast and a Mimosa

Met up with a friend at Four Seasons on a Sunday. We had planned to eat but didn't pick a restaurant so when she mentioned Portici, I was happy to try it out. She recommended it for the pizza but when we got there they informed us they only make breakfast. We gave it a go anyways. This restaurant is by Yorkville but not in the thick of it so even though we sat outside and did a bit of people watching, it was very calm and less crowded. Also, the staff was really sweet which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The food all tasted good. I went with the avocado toast and it was quite nice, though if I'm being honest nothing that stands out as being truly unique. The mimosa was also a nice balance of juice and alcohol. Being so close to Yorkville, this place is fairly expensive. I think my meal was over $30 for a slice of Avocado Toast (where the bread wasn't toasted but was fresh) and a mimosa. However, the quality was good so I was okay spending what I spent, especially given the area.

    Seafood Pasta

The dish I ordered was linguine de la mer. It was delicious! I also had a glass of Peroni. I enjoyed the quiet ambiance and very well maintained interior. The service was very good. The washroom was very clean and nicely decorated. I will come back.

Penne chicken pesto pasta, pizza funghi, and a fruity af white wine sangria the perfect dinner after a long day of work preparing for the new school year (with a new friend!) Service is always on point, and the amount of Parmesan always generous. A staple for consistent, tasty Italian food near the Yonge and Bloor area, just east of central yorkville. #pizza #pasta #yorkville #toronto #patio

I had some time to waste while waiting for an appointment but it was too early to have dinner. I just needed something light to bridge the gap. I remember walking past Caffe di Portici a few weeks ago so I thought I'd see what they have. Oh, I thought this was a coffee shop. It's much more than that! It's an Italian restaurant that happens to serve coffee. They serve all kinds of Italian food here, including salad, pasta, sandwiches, pizza, desserts, and much more. All I want is a coffee, this time. My friendly server had actually greeted me before I stepped inside and was very helpful in walking me through their menu. With his help, I chose the Espresso Crema Shakerato - A layer of cold milk cream over iced coffee frothed in a shaker & flavour shot. It sounded really good on a hot day. It was good! Rich and creamy. I'll have to come back to try some of their food.

    Chicken penne

It's a nice place. Friendly service. Sadly, I am only giving three stars (at least for now). First, the chicken penne I ordered was a surprisingly mild and a bit bland for my taste. Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with the food. Just made a wrong pick. Second, bees (or wasps?) kept sitting on the food while we were eating at the patio. It was quite bothersome. As much as it's not the restaurants direct fault, it just destroyed the experience. Having said all that, it's a decent restaurant, and I am quite willing to go back. I look forward to editing my review for the better.

This place is a decent find in this area. I came here for a last min brunch on a weekend as most of the other bookmarked spots nearby had a wait. Place is a simple and too the point. I ordered the smoked salmon with a bagel and it came with a side of a bean salad and fresh fruit on the side. The cappuccino I ordered was forgettable. Poorly frothed milk and a bitter shot. No latte art. I don't enjoy lavazza beans much so too each their own here. The smoked salmon was decent and I enjoyed the salad as it was decent. Service is OK. Once one factors in the price component for this area it is a bit of bargain and a good value for this area. 3 Stars and I might come back to try a pizza.

I used to love this place for brunch, but to be honest, it's not nearly as good as it used to be. There are only three items on the Sunday brunch menu and it's mediocre at best. I'd give it one star if not for their lunch and dinner items. Pizza is pretty good.

Don't walk/drive too fast, as you'll miss the place.

It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

The café itself is beautiful and has a very modern, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. It was extremely busy during my visit, which is always a good sign. Because of the rush, a few tables still had dishes waiting to be cleared, making it a little difficult for some customers to find a place to sit. The tables are also fairly close together, but that's understandable given the downtown Toronto setting. The smoked salmon croissant was the highlight of my meal. It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with ingredients that worked really well together. I would absolutely order it again. My only disappointment was the latte. It looked beautiful and tasted good, but it was served warm rather than hot. Since our breakfast arrived about 10 minutes after our drinks, my coffee had become even cooler by the time I started eating, which took away from the experience. Overall, I still enjoyed my visit and would definitely give Nonni Cafe & Bakery another try. The friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food make it a great spot for a relaxed breakfast or coffee date.

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!
