Strawberry Peach Yogurt Slush (x2) and Strawberry Mochi Yogurt
    Michelle S.

I usually don't order slushes because I'm a milk tea with tapioca type of gal, but wow this place impressed me! I ordered the Strawberry Peach Yogurt Slush with 50% Sugar and really enjoyed my drink! It was so refreshing, fruity, and with the perfect amount of sweetness and tarte-ness. I really liked the strawberry and peach pulp too, which added a nice textural element. I like sorbets and it gave me a slight sorbet-vibe. I heard the mochi drink was delicious too. I'd love to return and try some other drinks!

I'd give them a 4.5 if I could; the -0.5 is mainly due to the long wait times. Yogost is a great alternative if you are done cycling through Yomie's menu. It is just down the hall from Yomie so be sure to swing by and take a look. Yogost's menu is much more extensive and you can add toppings to your drinks. They also prompt and ask if you want less ice or sugar for your drinks. You need to actively ask if you order at Yomie. We got the Matcha Mochi and the Purple Rice yogurt drink. The purple rice was good and I probably should have stuck with 100% sugar to be able to make a better comparison to Yomie. I liked that I was able to ask for less ice so it was less of slushy yogurt drink. As for the matcha mochi drink, it was also tasty but I did not enjoy the texture of the mochi. According to the cup, the drink is best consumed within 30 mins! I'll be checking out the other drinks in the future!

New yogurt drink shop in town! This weekend and upcoming week is their grand opening so there are a lot of ongoing specials. I got one of their top drink: peach strawberry yogurt slush and also tried their mango coconut mochi yogurt. (Bogo this sat/sun). Due to the grand opening there is a bit of a line and wait for the drinks but the staff were super friendly and also nonstop apologised for the wait. They recommend half sugar and less ice for most of the drinks. They have quite an extensive menu compared to other yogurt shops in town. I think overall I prefer the yogurt yogurt ones over the slushes. I like their yogurt flavour and the mochi was nice in texture. Can't wait to try their other flavours!

This place is new at the Time Square plaza on hwy 7 and leslie. I brought the kids here, ordered their popular peach slush and oreo drink. They tasted nice. I don't really enjoy yogurt drinks, but this was not bad. The drink took a long time to be ready, they had maybe 6 staff behind the counter too. All were kind and patient with us taking a little longer to order. I would come back here again and try a rice yogurt flavour. Til next time!

Bold of Hey I Am Yogost to open up in a plaza with another yogurt shop. I came for their opening special and was immediately told the wait time is approximately one hour prior to ordering. Ordering was super fast. I came back an hour later and my drinks were sitting at the side already waiting for me. Even tho there were many staff busy at their own duties, I easily flagged down a member and he thanked me for waiting. The man at the cash also promptly thanked me for waiting so long as well. Extremely friendly service. There are three tables plus bar seats. As today is the first day, staff are too busy making drinks to clean up the tables that were filled with receipts, napkins, menus and brochures. I couldn't rly taste the lemon in Lemon strawberry yogurt slush. I do wish strawberry flavour was more intense. I do perfer the lychee one more. The tea jelly have a lovely subtle flavour that I enjoy.

Grand Opening day for Hey I Am Yogost (Aug20th, 2022) AKA 我叫酸奶君 There has been a huge line up since this morning! Yogost is a 100% all natural yogurt drink Dont miss out on their grand opening deal!! - Aug20-21 BOGO when you follow/hashtag/post a story - Aug 22-24 BOGO 50% off when you follow/hashtag/post a story - Aug 25-27 get 20% off when you follow Yogost I ordered the TIRAMISU MOCHI and LYCHEE YOGURT SLUSH. And its 10/10 The tiramisu was sooo good, literally one sip tiramisu one sip mochi, SOOO FREAKING GOOD BEST DRINK EVER! Cant say anything else Lychee yogurt slush was also very good too! Its taste like the Chinese dessert (mango sago芒果西米露). Go give it a try and let me know what you think

    Rice yogurt drink
    Rachel L.

A healthier alternative to bubble tea! I got the rice yogurt drink and I am not sure if I love it. I opted for 50% sugar and it was so sour. Maybe because it's yogurt based, getting full sugar helps balance out the sourness of the yogurt? The rice topping was well made, although different, I really liked it. I came here when they were grand opening and it took almost 40 minutes to get my drink (it was really busy back then). However, I came on a Saturday late night, not a lot of people, and still had to wait almost 20-25 minutes for my drink.

Got myself Chatime at commerce gate, and noticed a line of people waiting for their drinks at Hey I am Yogost and got curious. I went inside, scoped the menu, and asked the cashier which flavour was best between the two I wanted and went for the fresh mango drink. Paid about $8-$9, and waited for a good 15-20 minutes before I got my drink. I got regular ice and sugar, and the drink was not sour, it was smooth and it was nice. It tasted like a thick mango yogurt if I have to be honest with you. Deducted stars because it was such a long wait. Don't think I would come back again. Maybe if I was in the area with my toddler and she wanted a drink.

August 22, 2022 - My Yelp friend recommended this place. So I went with a few friends and we ordered about 5 drinks in total. There were so many drink to chose from. My favourite drink was the Strawberry Mochi and Purple Rice. My friends ordered Peach Mochi, Tiramisu and Matcha Mochi. The yogurt drinks here are different from other places. Love the mochi, so soft and chewable!

    Hawthorn Strawberry Yogurt

This yogurt place reminds me of the Yomies yogurt back at home and it's quite interesting because there's a Yomies yogurt across from Hey I am Yogost. Despite the dozens of boba selections in the same mall, yogurt sounded refreshing at the time. I ordered the Hawthorn Strawberry yogurt and it was creamy and tart. I chose 100% sweetness and the yogurt was not sweet at all. It almost tastes like a low sugar strawberry milk shake. This place is not too bad, and there's a large variety of flavors.

    Mango banana yogurt
    Jason T.

Tried their mango banana yogurt drink with half sugar and no ice. I would get it with 30% sugar next time. They have a huge selection of drinks and this puts pressure on the Yomies in the same plaza. I look forward to trying their plethora of beverages.

Coconut purple rice latte, 50% sugar
    MoniQueen M.

I ordered coconut, purple rice latte with 50% sugar via uber eats delivery. It was already very sweet for my standard. They had a buy one get one promotion there, so super worth it. It wasn't bad at all. I still prefer their yoghurt versions though. I'm a big fan of coconut milk so I really like this one. The reason why I'm giving it four stars is because there was too much ice in a small container that I feel like I barely drank anything after drinking it, and there was no option for less ice in the Uber Eats app. The purple rice tasted like sweet yam in a rice texture. Im not entirely sure what it is either, I'd be glad if someone responded to my comment telling me what it is so I can edit my review

Tiramisu Mochi Yogurt, Strawberry Mochi Yogurt & Peach Strawberry Yogurt
    Deborah M.

Tiramisu Mochi Yogurt | 10/10 Imagine drinking tiramisu? That's what this drink was like. It was chewy (b/c of the mochi) and creamy. If you like coffee, I think you'll like this one. Strawberry Mochi Yogurt | 8.5/10 Mochi layered with a blend of strawberries and topped with whipped cream. I loved how fresh the strawberries were in this drink. Peach Strawberry Yogurt Slush | 8/10 This drink was packed with lots of flavour starting with peach slush on the top, yogurt and a strawberry puree at the bottom. I enjoyed how refreshing the slush was. Interior: Simple and cute vibes. They have three tables to sit at and signs. $6-9 for yogurt drinks

I rarely use "hidden gem" to describe a restaurant or store, but I think Now Tea is a true hidden…read moregem for bubble tea and coffee. Commerce Gate is famous for being packed with countless bubble tea shops. Most are famous franchises, such as Chatime, CoCo, Tiger Sugar, Yoyo , etc. Now Tea seems so different among them. I had never seen this store before visiting Commerce Gate. After Googling it, I found that it is also a franchise, but it operates only in Ontario, with three stores in total. Being low-profile alone does not qualify it as a hidden gem. That just means it does not spend much on marketing. What really impressed me was the flavour of its bubble tea. We tried the Milk Green Tea and Milk TieGuanYin, both with bubbles. The tea flavour was strong and full of the unique aromas of green and oolong tea, but it was also smooth going down. The bubbles had been boiled for the perfect amount of time: not so briefly that they had hard centres and not so long that they became too soft. They were very chewy, among the best bubbles I have ever had. The inside of the tea shop is spacious and has plenty of tables and seats. The lighting is bright, and I always see customers working or studying there. Other tea shops usually have very few seats and dim lighting; basically, they do not want to give you a Starbucks vibe and let you sit for too long. Another interesting fact: if you come to Commerce Gate early in the morning, before 11:00, Now Tea is the only tea shop that is open because it also serves coffee. The drinks are also less expensive than those at more famous brands. I guess they save a lot of money on marketing: lower prices and higher quality. I tried this store for the first time this week, and we have already been here three times. As a tea lover, I ask everyone reading this review: you must come here and try their drinks!

Reviewing 2oz of Coffee (located inside Now Tea)…read more This coffee counter is known for doubling up their espresso shots in their lattes, so get ready to be well caffeinated. I arrived right when they opened, and there were already a few people waiting in line. The menu is small & curated, focusing more on the coffee than specialty flavours. However, they do have a good selection of flavoured lattes. I wasn't able to see which beans they used for the espresso, but overall, their roast seems to be a bit darker/stronger, which balances out a sweeter latte well. I tried the iced biscoff and pistachio lattes. The biscoff is slightly sweeter and nuttier - definitely my fave of the two. The pistachio latte, in contrast, was disappointing. It was $1 more than the biscoff latte, looked nothing like the photo on the counter, and didn't taste much of pistachio at all. Although it looks like a separate counter, I realized that you can order drinks from either "shop" from their one main counter. I also found it a bit confusing to figure out the hours of operation, as Google said 2oz of Coffee opens at 11am, but the Now Tea shop isn't open until 12pm.

I typically hit Kinton Ramen in this plaza, fetch food, and leave. It was nice to have already parked for two hours. I got here at noon. There were plenty of spots available. After doing a quick look at the bubble tea places to choose from, I chose TP Tea. There's one closer to my home, across the border (it sounds fancy) in Scarborough. I needed to check out a different location. TP stands for Taiwan Professional. I still think of my former intern who disliked a software tester at our workplace who creeped her out. She nicknamed him TP, which stood for Toilet Paper.... haha! Anyway, I digress. I walked in and there were two staff members. A young man came over to help me with my order. The Thai milk tea looked so good in the poster on the door that I went with it. I couldn't get it without any sugar, so my order became less sugar and ice. I also got tea jelly. I had never heard of tea jelly before. Tea jelly in tea? Hey, why not? I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped. I also signed up for TP Tea's points program. You simply enter your phone number and sign in through the touchpad each visit. You can get free toppings, free drinks, and more. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This store is deep and narrow. You can't sit down and enjoy your drink. You also can't use the washrooms. The woman behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I politely declined and said that I was going to drink it now, which made her laugh and nod. I wished both folks a great day and headed to my car. The Thai milk tea ws excellent. If you like strong tea, you want to come here. The milk was perfect to balance out the tea. I loved the tea jelly, which added a cool flavour dimension to my tastebuds that I have never experienced. It was awesome and I got a decent amount of it! Less sugar worked out nicely. My drink was a touch sweet. Perfect! I had a great experience. I hope to return to this plaza and get more drinks off the menu. (463)

I peeled off one of them and noticed Song Tea. Interesting. My quest was to find a Song Tea and see what the difference was between the drinks at the two places. I wasn't interested in why the name was covered up. It's not really my business, but it did spark my curiosity to try Song Tea. I did a search and found that this location in Richmond Hill was the closest to me. After running a number of errands a couple of Saturdays ago, I placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup. I ordered the following drinks: - Blue Curacao soda - Pink peach soda I had the former drink at Deer Mango, so I would do the comparison between stores with it. I love carbonated drinks, so I had to get the other one that was available. My order was ready well before I got to the store. Due to the lockdown, it wasn't busy at Times Square. For years, I avoided this area like the plague because it was busy and parking was chaotic. It was the complete opposite when I got there. There was a lone car parked in front of the store. I parked next to it and walked in. The store is cute. I would think that it was much cuter before the pandemic. There was a little whirlpool that was empty. I looked at older photos and it had colour balls and plushies. It looks like the mascot is either a llama or alpaca, which made my day! I talked to the woman behind the counter. She was so friendly. I indicated that I had an Uber Eats order. She pointed at the bag in front of her and said that it was mine. I was thrilled. I thanked her and left with my goodies. I had the drinks when I got home. Let's talk about packaging. So much care went into it. Both my drinks were in a crate in the paper bag with a cool camouflage motif. At this store, I was able to specify that I didn't want any sugar in my drinks. I didn't have that option at Deer Mango. The lowest sugar option was 30%. The small pineapple chunks in the blue curacao drink were yummy. I love this drink so much. It wasn't sweet. It had carbonation. It was pretty. It tasted great! I then had the pink peach drink. It was so good with the small strawberries. The peach flavour worked well with the strawberry bits. I loved the fizziness. It also made me feel like it was summer drinking this beverage. I am a huge fan. I haven't dropped by in over a week and have withdrawal symptoms. I will return. (238)
