I think I did something wrong, but I didn't know there was a wrong way to have a drink. I ordered the mango mochi drink and it was so thick that we couldn't get it through the straw. It was literally like a thick custard the whole way through and we couldn't figure out what we were suppose to do with it. The bits of mochi that we were able to get were an interesting texture, but the drink lacked flavor for us. It didn't taste like anything but thick dense unsweetened yogurt. What a strange drink. Not sure what went wrong as other reviewers seemed to have a totally different experience.

I visited the downtown Hey I Am Yogost location during their soft opening. I found the location easily accessible by public transit, as it is located near Bloor Yonge station. I was able to try 5 of their drinks: - Oats Cereal Yogurt ($7.75) - Strawberry Banana Yogurt ($7.95) - Peach & Strawberry Yogurt Slush ($8.50) - Mango Rice Yogurt ($7.95) - Rice Wine w/ Osmanthus Jelly Yogurt ($8.50) My faves out of these drinks were the Mango Rice Yogurt and the Peach & Strawberry Slush. I love the texture of the purple rice in their rice yogurt series and I liked the pieces of fresh fruit mixed into their Peach & Strawberry Yogurt Slush. I found the interior very aesthetic with the marble walls and the staff were also very patient and helpful going through the menu with me.

It's not bubble tea! But damn, it's so good. We tried yogurt and tiramisu flavours. They are quite sweet is be sure to have the ice. The place is so cute and stylish. Enough to hold a few people comfortably. The people are very nice and polite. I'd definitely have this again. On multiple occasions.

Hey I am pleased to meet you Yogost! I really loved your mochi yogurt drinks. We tried the mango and matcha ones, and liked how your flavours were not overly sweet, the yogurt was smooth, and the mochi bits were chewy. It was a fun experience, especially since prices were on par with other yogurt drink places. See you again Yogost!

I happened to pass by during their grand opening weekend when they had a BOGO promotion going on. I've seen the brand but never tried until that day. I ordered their peach mochi yogurt which is one of their bestselling items with no sugar and less ice. It was a very delicious drink that's lightly flavoured and very creamy. At the bottom of the cup, there's a big piece of chewy mochi and the drink was topped with pieces of marshmallow. Overall, it's got great texture, very delicious and a very pretty drink. Because it was grand opening weekend, they were fully staffed and was making and serving up drinks very quickly! An added bonus, they had a clock indicating the average wait time for their drinks which is a great added bonus as many in the downtown area is always on the move and can't sit around waiting long.

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals…read more Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are. For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing. Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive. Worth a drop-by.

Cookies: The matcha white chocolate cookie was freshly made. Quite soft and delicious. Reasonably sized cookie. Yema cake: It was my first time having the Yema cake so I was looking forward to try it. I got the ube flavour and a soft chiffon cake texture. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect for a nice small dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. It's too bad there's limited seating as it would be great to dine-in. I definitely want to come back to try out their drinks!
