This place was a nice spot to get lunch. I got pizza and french fries which were both good. I also tried a brownie but I wasn't a huge fan of it.

Very few places to eat. Staff was nice. Ordered meatball pizza - hot and tasted good. Casual pizzeria.

I ordered a piece of the chocolate zucchini, bread, a really thick slice! And she heated it up. I paired it with a tall cup of nice quality tea. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and a tall coffee. We enjoyed seeing locals and visitors coming through the door as a steady stream. The owner never missed a beat, welcoming each and every person into the café. And greeting them again when they walked out. The atmosphere was friendly, the decor what I would expect from up north coffee shop. Nothing fancy, but lots of local art on the walls. That's also for sale if you would like. I like to see people support local artists. Our initial round of food was so good, that we decided to try more out of the pastry case my husband ordered a blueberry muffin, and I tried a cinnamon roll. Totally worth the calories!! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get pictures of our other food before we totally ate them!! I highly recommend Café Sarah in North Creek New York.

On an extremely frigid Saturday evening we arrived for our 5:30 reservation at 5:28. One person was 10 minutes late and though tables were empty, we could not be seated until our party was complete. We ordered and our drinks arrived quickly. I had ordered peach tea and was surprised mine arrived in a bottle. Soon, our food arrived. I was glad because I was beside the window an it was quite drafty. The dining area isn't particularly large and I assume this is why the service is so highly focused on turning over tables as quickly as possible. It bears mentioning here that due to the weather half the tables were empty this night. My tuna steak was cool, and the sear was a little light for my taste. I ordered the house made blue cheese dressing which was bland. Think sour cream with blue cheese crumbles in it. The salad had plentiful greens and veggies which was lovely. The Chloe fries which I was told was their best dish was home fries with some creamy type of perhaps ricotta or cottage cheese and some bacon crumbles. I would've given the food a 3 star review if not for the service... we were presented with the bill shortly after we finished our entrees and while we all still had other food to finish. Once the bill was paid we were continuing our conversation and sipping our drinks when the hostess came to ask if we needed anything else and also let us know they needed our table for a large party they were expecting. I wished I could've changed the tip I had left and after this experience I absolutely will not be back.

This bakery is a true gem. We finally made it to this spot on the last day of our trip although I…read morehad planned to go from the beginning. The bakery is located a little off the Main Street but it's very short walk. I have to say if you're driving by it's very easy to miss it. My friends and I arrived here on a Tuesday morning and we were immediately greeted by Jocelyn our server. We just wanted a good coffee and some treat so we all got cappuccinos and croissants. The cappuccino was the best I had in my entire stay in Lake George. The girls and I made it a point to order one at every location we went to and nothing compared this place. It was delicious! The croissant was fresh, delicate and had the perfect layered crisp. The place is truly beautiful, it honestly feels like you're in Europe. Every details put into this place truly makes it remarkable. Again, Jocelyn, who is a local, was the sweetest server. She makes sure every customer leaves happy. We also got to meet the owner who bakes every item with much love and care. We loved this place so much we stopped by on our way home that afternoon for their fresh baked sourdough and it was also a hit!! Be sure not to miss this local gem when visiting the area.

Our breakfast here was a real vacation buzz kill. I tried and tried to rationalize our experience…read morebut really it just adds up to this restaurant being a particularly deceptive tourist trap. We got 2 French seasons 14 dollars each. 14 dollars pays for a drip coffee, a really dense croissant, and a pain au chocolate. Those three items would have been cheaper bought separately. The menu leads you to believe that you will get a juice, a coffee or tea, 2 tartines and 2 baguettes or pastries. The grammar is deceptive. The juice was on a separate line from the coffee or tea, Tartines are bread with spread but can mean lots of things, and there was no colon to link that the pastries and baguette were the tartine options. So, Really you just get a beverage and more or less two pieces of bread. Finally, my husband ordered a ristretto ( extra strength espresso) in addition to his French season, and What he was given tasted suspiciously like my big cup of drip coffee in a tiny cup. Most places don't have ristretto on the menu no one will miss it if it's not there... If you aren't that committed to coffee don't pretend to be. I should have come to yelp to read the reviews first but we had vacation goggles on!

I was very happy to see a section in the fishing area devoted to Hinckley spoons, including the renowned 88's which, to me, are the best lures for attracting lake trout. Crossroads also sells live bait. Their worms have more squirm, and their shiners are finer. Prices reasonable. A smallish breakfast area, but their sandwiches are eggggcellent. Even gas prices, considering Crossroads is a bit off the beaten path, are comparable to the Stewart's on rte 8. And my friend, Locomotive Breath, who never passes up an opportunity to patronize a bathroom, says the men's room is clean and the "bathroom tissue" (toilet paper) is 2-ply! We always visit Crossroads when in the area. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
