This place was a nice spot to get lunch. I got pizza and french fries which were both good. I also tried a brownie but I wasn't a huge fan of it.

Very few places to eat. Staff was nice. Ordered meatball pizza - hot and tasted good. Casual pizzeria.

Her pastry case is always full of wonderful baked goods. She also has breakfast sandwiches. Sarah greets everyone and you know when you have become a regular when Sarah knows what type of coffee you want as soon as she sees you walk through her door. I wish Sarah all the luck in the world and hope she stays in business a very long time.

I ordered a piece of the chocolate zucchini, bread, a really thick slice! And she heated it up. I paired it with a tall cup of nice quality tea. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and a tall coffee. We enjoyed seeing locals and visitors coming through the door as a steady stream. The owner never missed a beat, welcoming each and every person into the café. And greeting them again when they walked out. The atmosphere was friendly, the decor what I would expect from up north coffee shop. Nothing fancy, but lots of local art on the walls. That's also for sale if you would like. I like to see people support local artists. Our initial round of food was so good, that we decided to try more out of the pastry case my husband ordered a blueberry muffin, and I tried a cinnamon roll. Totally worth the calories!! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get pictures of our other food before we totally ate them!! I highly recommend Café Sarah in North Creek New York.

Cinnamon roll (usually these are covered in Maple glaze, but I caught her in time and was able to get it plain the way I prefer.)

The food is some of the best we've ever had and our breakfasts here were a highlight of our stay. The pastries are fresh and delicious but definitely don't skip out on the sit down meals here. The French toast and crepes were unreal and the potato's are delicious! The service was amazing, our waitresses were incredibly kind and created a very positive experience for us. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with flowers on each table and was very clean. It has a very nice overall atmosphere.

However, our experience this morning was anything but good, and I'd actually say this was the worst breakfast I've had in years. I ordered what is called the Benedict Maddie which is their take on eggs Benedict. This is my go-to breakfast and their version was nearly inedible. From substituting the English muffin with a brioche bun that can't stand up to the moisture of the eggs and became a stodgy mess of sickly sweet pudding to the curdled and flavorless hollandaise that left me feeling sick afterward. Adding insult to injury was upcharging for ham that is a core ingredient of eggs Benedict. This was absurd given that already astounding prices they charge. Sides were potatoes which were okay, but it was also served with salad that I was suspect of given the current health issues with lettuce. My wife was equally disappointed with what was supposed to be a French omelette but turned out to be an overcooked, open face western omelette that was more like rubber than eggs. Her $9 blueberry smoothie was delicious though Service was slow with only two other tables occupied when we arrived, although our eventual server turned out to be quite pleasant. Coffee was never refilled and the bill for two people was just...well...arrogant. I guess this place really is French. The two stars are for the smoothie and our waiter. The rest is pretty forgettable.

From breakfast sandwiches to subs for lunch, 100/10 every time. The store itself is really cute and inviting. I was very happy to see a section in the fishing area devoted to Hinckley spoons, including the renowned 88's which, to me, are the best lures for attracting lake trout. Crossroads also sells live bait. Their worms have more squirm, and their shiners are finer. Prices reasonable. A smallish breakfast area, but their sandwiches are eggggcellent. Even gas prices, considering Crossroads is a bit off the beaten path, are comparable to the Stewart's on rte 8. And my friend, Locomotive Breath, who never passes up an opportunity to patronize a bathroom, says the men's room is clean and the "bathroom tissue" (toilet paper) is 2-ply! We always visit Crossroads when in the area. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
