Like a siren blazing fire truck, keep back 200 ft. For $13-15 a pop, you get maybe a 5 inch sub cut in half. Even better I got a chicken parm and it's minced chicken mush w a smattering of breading topped off by grade D generic pizza sauce. Pizza all day. Sandwiches stay away! Mediocre and overpriced. Had to get that out there 1st. Staff was friendly enough, not really inviting or discouraging. Space is cool - I got my food to go. Cheesy bread and a Supreme pizza. The toppings on the pizza were phenomenal, but the crust was no where near crispy on the bottom, yet the edges were burned. It wasn't enough to make it a bad pizza, but wasn't enough the make it good either. The cheesy bread was admittedly pretty tasty. One gripe? The sauce was NOT good. It was rather watery and the taste was not on point. Disappointing... All in all I think I will skip Pizza Jerks in favor of Number 1 Pizza in the same area. I've eaten there before and the quality far surpasses that of Pizza Jerks. read more

Looking at all the mouth watering pictures and great reviews on their website, my hub and I had to investigate this place. Located behind the main drag, across from a Supermarket, ample parking. Dined inside, small place, very popular with the locals, busy most of the time. They have a nice selection of pizza's already cooked to choose from if you are looking for a snack or eating solo. Nice menu, different choices other than pizza. Enter the restaurant and order at the pick up counter and grab a table if dining in. Call out your name when ready. Paper plates and plastic ware, napkins by pick up counter. Can soda and other beverages in cooler. We ordered a large Supreme pizza cooked well done, it was a delicious thin crust pizza perfectly cooked. Prices comparable to most other places. Employees were all very pleasant!! First time ordering a pizza and wings. Whew--the sauce was super spicy. Just ate my third tums. We liked the crust and the toppings but whoa, we were given a pizza drenched in hot pepper flavor. The sausage was sliced like pepperoni instead of the more familiar chunks. Didn't look that great but it was tasty. The wings were okay. They were more soft than crispy. I live in lake george. have had a love hate relationship with this place but after tonight never again. when you are a local and try to support them, and you are repeatedly screwed when you order in advance and ask for the time for pick up, they fail almost every time! burned a few times, numerous times had to wait (why did i order in advance) so this evening i called and live 2 minutes drive away. i asked when should i pick up. they said 20-30 minutes as I had a number of errands to do. i said please be more specific. they said 20 minutes. i showed up 25 minutes later and they were just putting my pizza in the oven as i had paid. We have a number of great pizza places here, the incompetence and repeated failures got to me so never again, don't go there if you want reliability and consistent pizzas. they used to stay open year round but they lost enough local business and i will never go there again! lucky for them suckers in the summer. read more

How lucky that I happen to be craving a NY slice of pizza, and happened to be close to the area for a work trip. Recommended by my coworkers and did not disappoint. Walkable from the main street around Lake George. Has its own parking lot. Wow! This pizza is scrumptious!!! When my family and i went to lake George for the first time, we were looking for some food. Then we stumbled across this amazing pizza place! We ordered it the second night and it didn't disappoint!!! It tasted absolutely delicious! And their gluten free pizza.... OMG! My oh my! I've never had anything like it! Everything was perfect about this! We got cheese, buffalo and combination! All of them tasted spectacular! Not to mention the delivery! We were sitting by our campfire and then, poof! Delivery! Quick and easy! I wasn't sure if they were going to be able to see us because of how the campfire situation was, but they ended up getting it to us! When I stepped into the place it just spoke, im an amazing pizza place. The ambiance was amazing! And that's when i knew, this. This is the pizza place that we are going to compare pizza back home to. This is the pizza place that our kids will say, "can we get pizza from pizza jerks tonight?" And we'll say, "but we just had it last night!!" Not only does it serve a memory of lake George but it also is such a close walk to our motel, so we can walk there and order, but of course we mostly call. Even though many people don't care about such a tiny thing like a pizza place at a place they go on vacation to.. it still makes memories for us. Pizza Jerks is the ONLY pizza place you should be frequenting when you are staying in Lake George! This place is off the main strip of Canada Street in the Village, but it well worth it to walk-in and see what they have by the slice. We opted for the Inversion pizza, for four adults and one two year old, and honestly, was an AMAZING choice! Super fresh ingredients and the crispy crust made this an easy family pleaser! I would strongly recommend calling in your order, since there is usually quite a bit of a wait during the lunch rush, but the staff is so nice and they truly deliver in pizza knowledge and professionalism! They definitely need more staff to help out cleaning inside and to have take-out more seamless, but they still get 5 stars for overall quality, taste, and freshness! read more

Stopped in for some takeout pizza's recently, overall it was decent but nothing to write home about. Pizzas were ok. Needed more sauce/flavor on them (I ordered extra sauce on one and even then it was pretty dry). The carnivore was our favorite, but the pesto one with artichokes bacon and chicken was pretty good as well. Wings were not good - both buffalo and garlic parm didn't have good texture (rubbery) and lacked flavor. buffalo knots were pretty good. Takeout experience was slow - although our order was ready when we arrived, we had to wait for everyone ahead of us to get their orders, even though theirs were not ready. I'm sure it's a bit of an adjustment due to current circumstances, but didn't make sense to me to keep people waiting and have a crowd form. read more

Was estimated 45 minutes to an hour waited an hour and 15 minutes before I called and was told that it was gonna be sent out on the second delivery was told it would be here in 20 minutes or less! I feel blindsided. Maybe it's only the pizza that's good that people talk about. We got a chicken parm hero and boneless buffalo wings. The boneless wings were ok, but the hero was downright gross and I actually didn't even think it was chicken on it at first, I thought it was dried potatoes on top. Clearly it's the same chicken as the boneless wings cut up and dried out before putting almost no sauce on it and putting it back into the oven on bread. The "chicken" was mostly thick breadcrumbs. However, the last few times I've changed it up with a cheese calzone, a salad and even cheesy bread. But, in the nicest way possible..they should stick to pizza. The salad was quite honestly terrible, the cheesy bread was burnt to a crisp on the bottom and the cheese calzone just didn't hit home like previous calzones. Really enjoyed their pizza. I went in to sit down (no waiter service, just ordered slices at the counter). If it's not too crowded it is a really fun place to sit and gorge yourself on pizza! This way I was able to try lots of different slices, all of them were great. Being just a tiny bit off the main drag (a block behind Canada St) it's not as chock-full of tourists as some of the other places. I have ordered food from Pizza Jerks in Glens Falls for many years. The last 3 times I ordered pizza, calzones, etc it came burnt. I am really disappointed in them and really surprised they even delivered it. I have never ever gotten bad food from them until recently. The first time you think they must be having a crazy night but after 3 times in a row!!! They lost a loyal customer. All I can think is they don't care anymore and/or they have a new cook.
