What's better than to spend a lazy afternoon by the lake with good food, music and service?! Plus it's so dog friendly. Parking isn't easy on the main stretch but you can find plenty parking one street away. The restaurant isn't easy to find, but know that it's easier to find if you walk along the water. I love the staff here, they were friendly, and always making sure if we were doing ok. The food was good and portions were huge. He prepared to take home some.

Ordered a Reuben. The sandwich was gigantic and delicious! I only ate half and took the rest to go. The fries were also nice and crisp! Matt the waiter was awesome!

The view of the lake made it worthwhile.

We visited The Lagoon off season (in October) when the choices were limited, splitting a Greek salad and a veggie lovers pizza. The Greek salad was good, fresh, and huge. The pizza was somewhat boring - both the crust and toppings were short on flavor. The service was A+, and the view of the lake made the boring pizza worthwhile.

Went on a Wednesday night at about 7pm, this is during the end of October so the season is mostly over and few places are still open. We were sat immediately and there were heaters throughout the room that kept it warm even though it's currently in the 50s and right on the water. Everyone ordered the special steak au poivre, it was absolutely amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly to our preference, the sauce tasted wonderful, I dipped my potatoes in it. The green beans were just okay, they were not fresh, but everything else was so good it didn't matter. I would 110% recommend ordering the steak au poivre. The server was very nice as well.

Came here for lunch while on a weekend trip at Lake George. Had the wings and fried calamari. The wings were good. I tried the Chipotle and buffalo ones and they were tasty. The fried calamari was really good. Definitely order it. Ambiance is nice. It's a chill spot with nice views of the lake. Very spacious. Come here for good lunch with a view.

Great wings, and service to match excellent lake side view. Really fun place will come back again for sure.

The food was good and the service was nice. It's a nice spot that's a bit tucked away. The only reason it's a 4 star is because we smelled marajuana the whole time but obviously they couldn't control that.

We stopped in for a beer and an order of Buffalo shrimp while perusing Canada Street and wandering down Christie's Lane. Pleasant pub atmosphere with a lake front patio seating as well. Friendly and attentive service. I also ordered a burger and fries to go while watching a band at an establishment across the way on another evening that was no longer serving food. Was happy to have a hot fresh meal! Burger was juicy and flavorful and well seasoned fries.

Such a great place. Extremely friendly. Amazing food. I recommend the beef stew. Street parking. Amazing views.

If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.

But each of their tasting rooms has its own positives. The big one here is their parking lot - which is literally big (and free!). It's also family (kid) friendly, though that also means it can get very noisy. There's lots of open space available in nice weather. The afternoon I went, it was very busy, and I overheard one employee tell one customer that they were busier than anticipated. But every single person there was working their tail off. Food and drink still came out quickly and with a smile and friendly conversation. Be aware that the hallway for staff exiting the kitchen is also the space towards the rest rooms, so be sure to give those folks the right of way. I'm still going through their beer list in both places, and the list in this South Glens Falls location is extensive. Their food has always been high quality as well.
