Pooh and I were here for supper last night and it was a wonderful experience We started our evening with Saluti Martinis which had basil oil and tasted delicious. For appetizers we felt nostalgic and had a Shrimp Cocktail. The shrimp were huge and quite tasty For supper, Pooh had Chicken Marsala and I had Chicken Cacciatore. Pooh loved his dish but felt the breading was a bit soggy because the sauce was poured over it The Cacciatore was delicious; the chicken fell off the bone and the sauce and pasta were amazing. We had a bottle of Pinot Noir to wash it all down. We were full so we took dessert to go. Pooh had a chocolate hazelnut dessert (can't remember the name) and I had a Cannoli. Pooh's dessert was great; my cannoli was small for 8$ but it was enjoyable. Our server Duton was very nice and friendly Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Was visiting Lake George with my husband for the first time and was craving for something Italian. We stopped by this place after seeing great reviews and we have really enjoyed the service and experience here! We started off with some clam with butter (very fresh!) with our drinks. He got the Cab Sav and I got the espresso hazelnut martini (one of the best martinis I had with a perfect balance of coffee and alcohol ). We had chicken parm pasta and bolognese pasta which were delicious. However, it is more of the pricier side. I assume it is like that around this area. Still highly recommend!!

This place has a unique feel like an old school ski chalet. Service was great, surprisingly good Italian food. pasta was cooked just right.

This is the second time I have tried their food and it's AMAZING. First time, we ordered to go, second time was dining in. All the pastas I've tried were so delicious. It tasted so fresh even taking it back to our hotel to eat. We got about 4-5 different ones bc my family and I wanted to taste everything. Onto the dining in - my gfs and I tried the bread board and I had the braised beef. The bread board could have been more. I felt it was a bit slacking on the types available (2??). But the star of the show was definitely the beef. It was fall apart and so tender. The gravy and meat was packed full of flavor. I can still taste it in my mouth. Mmm!! This will surely be a place I will come back to when I'm back in Lake George.

One of the finest Italian restaurants anywhere. Great short ribs and ragu sauce. BTW the wine by the glass is not skimpy either.

The pasta I had, angel Hair with Shrimp and pesto, was just oily, heavy, and overpriced. Didn't want to stay for dessert after that.

I'll admit that living near Trenton has made me a little spoiled when it comes to pizza, but even with that in mind, this was not great by any stretch of the national imagination. The main appeal was convenience. Giuseppe's was only a few steps from our hotel, and the idea of eating pizza on the balcony overlooking the lake at sunset sounded too good to pass up. The order was ready quickly, less than thirty minutes, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, despite asking for utensils and plates both on the phone and again in person, they forgot them entirely. A short walk back to the shop solved the problem, and to their credit, the staff handed them over without any fuss. The pizza itself was the kind of food that serves a purpose but not a memory. The crust was too thick and doughy, the sauce had very little character, and the cheese existed mostly to keep everything from falling apart. It was utility-grade food sold at premium tourist-town prices. We knew we were paying that tax going in, but even so, it felt steep for what we got. Still, it did the job. Our family had a meal, the sunset over the lake was beautiful, and we went from phone call to first bite in under forty minutes on a Saturday night. For that, I'll give some credit. But for the pizza itself, there's not much to recommend. Three stars for speed and convenience, not for flavor.

This was my first time visiting Lake George, and Boyfriend had been talking about this restaurant for years, every time we brought up coming here one day. Was a bit worried seeing many other reviews mentioning this place was dirty, but although everything looked super old, it was clean. Some stuff is "good old" - like the decor, cool light fixtures, jukebox etc; other old things such as the AC units and outdated bathrooms, should be upgraded. Pizza was fine! Boyfriend had a pepperoni slice and raved about it... I'm just glad he was so happy :) I had a plain cheese pizza slice, it was fine - very good thin crust but not enough cheese for my taste. At $14 for two slices and two sprites this was the cheapest meal out we've had in a very long time too, lol.

Their hand-tossed pizzas are delicious. I always remember watching the chef kneading and tossing fresh dough from the front window, visiting here always takes me back. After enjoying the day at Oktoberfest we wanted to grab a slice of pizza before heading home. We were able to grab a table right away as most customers were taking their orders to go. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is a bit dated but I do like that they left the old CD juke boxes at the tables, once again, reminiscing about the old days. One downside is the restaurant and restrooms are not very clean. I'm sure there is a lot of people traffic here but they definitely need to improve in this area. We ordered the meat lovers ($27.43) with pepperoni only on one side. Our pie was out in about 20 minutes and was delicious. The large gets you 8 slices, we had four so it worked out to 2 slices each. The pizza was loaded with ingredients and the crust had just the right crispiness and chew. All-in-all, I had a great experience here and recommend them to anyone looking for a great slice of pizza in the Lake George area.

We ordered a couple of rice platters: chicken kabob, and the chicken + lamb mix, and both are heartily portioned, with a salad, and a heap of marinated jalapeños that my husband requested for a side since we are both spicy people. The kabobs are fragrant, and the rice slightly over-seasoned, edging toward flavor packet territory, but that didn't stop us from devouring both platters with zero complaints and zero leftovers. Is it my favorite NYC halal cart level good? No. But still quite tasty, filling, and generously sized. Excellent hot sauce too - not some weaksauce. I appreciate that the fresh squeezed plain lemonade comes in a huge tub and is just water and lemon - not the sugar bomb you typically get. Sugar is available for self-administration, or, if you insist, an artificial flavored syrup can be added (bubblegum flavored lemonade? Hmm I don't know...but I won't judge.) The also offer Hawaiian shaved ice, but I'm not banking on its authenticity. The outdoor patio is open in warmer weather.

And when I pulled up he was right there in the window waiting for me. Needless to say I was disappointed. I don't think I'll be back. I'm sorry
