On our short stay in a Lake George, came across this gem for dinner. Looking for a nice Italian dinner, we weighed all the choices in town and settled on this one. Glad we did, the restaurant is located about a ten minute drive from town but the view and the food makes it worth the trip. Seated at a window table with a beautiful view of the lake, we started with a very nice appetizer and a glass of wine. Entrees were very good, and those that know me, I can be very picky. Nice upscale restaurant with great food and excellent service. Will definitely make it a return visit on our next trip here. I highly recommend this place

I find it hard to express how terrible the food is here. We were so excited to try this new restaurant and hoped it would be good since the area is lacking any decent restaurants.. we were incredibly disappointed. The quality of food is relatable to Applebees at best ... and that's being nice. The mozzarella fritti is likely frozen mozzarella sticks with a sweet tomato sauce. "Cozze" mussels were very fishy. I ate three and they all tasted vastly different. For meals we got multiple different things. The linguine bayside I took one bite of and immediately sent back. The closest thing I can relate the flavor to is maybe a store bought microwaveable pasta dish? No flavor and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Criminal at $32. They did end up taking it off the bill. We also got Salmon which had maybe a shake of pepper as seasoning otherwise was totally bare. Nona's Sunday sauce which was sweet and the meat lacked any flavor. Chicken parm which was described by my father as "edible but not enjoyable" We sat inside which has zero ambiance. It definitely felt very Applebees trying to be a nice restaurant. I can see sitting outside being better during the day with the view of the lake. Needless to say we will not be returning. Save your Money and eat at home or drive to Saratoga for a decent meal.

Our Mother's Day dinner at Antonio's Bayside was spectacular. The food was well-prepared (I had the Linguine Bayside) and the roaded Brussels sprouts with honey were delicious--I ate almost all of them. The dishes were prepared to personal order (important for us with food restrictions) and the owner (who shared the waiting duties) should be a stand-up comedian! What a view!

The BEST calamari EVER! So fresh!

PERFECTION! My husband and I were visiting the area for our anniversary. We didn't have reservations but got seated quickly with a second row view of the lake. Beautiful! Our waitress Nicole made the best recommendations! We had calamari, which was the freshest and best we have EVER eaten! Seriously the best, seasoned and cooked perfectly! We also had the mixed greens salad that was perfectly dressed. My husband had the eggplant Parmesan and I had chicken Parmesan. The sauce was sooooo delicious, and you could taste how fresh the chopped basil was. Chef Lopez, don't ever leave! Kudos to this chef for the most amazing meal we've had in a long time. If we're ever back in the area, Antonio's Bayside is where we'll dine.

Location, view and service were great. We started out with the muscles and the sauce for them was delicious. The main entrees were pricy for what they were, wish there was more seasoning.

My cousin and I went here for a meal because it was nearby. Their official grand opening wasn't until the next day, but they were open for business. I would characterize it as "fine dining with no dress code". :) For appetizers we had the Burrata, and the grilled octopus ('Polpo' on their menu). Both were fantastic! Entrees included the sesame crusted tuna, and Nonna's Sunday Sauce (beef braciole, meatball, hot Italian sausage and rigatoni with marinara sauce over it all). The food was absolutely top notch! If you are in the area please make it a point to dine here. The wait staff was great too. Kudos to Lindsay (sp?) the hostess. She should get a raise! In fact, the owner, Antonio himself, stopped by our table at the end of the meal and chatted for a few minutes. What a great guy! You can tell her really cares about his food. Off the top of his head he knew from where they source the Burrata. If you are within an hour's drive from Lake George Village it is worth going. If you can get one of the tables with the view of the lake, please do so.

Since we were staying in Bolton Landing...we found that THIS place did both wine AND whiskey tastings. They did tasting of wine from the local Adirondack Winery and whiskey from the local American Oak Distillery. PERFECT. I love to sample whatever is local. The place is a very casual and friendly place...no stuffiness...not fancy...friendly bartenders and staff. People that come in are not the loud crowd you don't want to deal with. Just a nice relaxing place to enjoy some tastings. We opted to taste 8 different wines. Some we liked, some not so much, but we wound up buying a couple bottle of their smokey Chardonnay so that's a successful tasting. I also liked their regular Chardonnay as well as a Baco Noir. Next, I opted to taste four whiskeys. I liked 3 of the 4...I won't tell you which sickenly sweet one I didn't even finish, but I really enjoyed the 120 proud Whiskey Barrel proof. We had planned to just do a tasting there, but were enjoying ourselves so much we decided to order some food. I was happily surprised that the food here was really good! Good fries and really great hot sandwiches. This was my favorite place to eat and drink in Bolton Landing and Lake George itself. I definitely would go back for another really nice evening. And definitely give Adirondack wines a try as well as American Oak whiskey.

It's a fairly small space so definitely make reservations if you're planning on going during busier dinner hours. Service was decent - it was a little confusing and disjointed at times but I chalked that up to some inexperience (the server seemed a bit green) and that it's a fairly new restaurant. We had read somewhere that it was small plates - more like tapas...but then was explained that it's "family style". This is what caused said confusion at the table since "family style" to the four of us meant large, sharable portions. So, we just ordered a bunch of stuff in waves since we didn't really know how much food we were going to need. Some items arrived quickly, others took a very long time. Standout dishes to me were the Brussels sprouts and the apple cobbler dessert (which I just had a little taste of). I found some of the accompanying crackers odd - I think they were Ritz brand or something like that? We did request a few gluten free crackers and were brought a few. The swordfish was on the dry side - that's a tricky protein to get right. The fried chicken was served as cutlets - so some of the items were more difficult to share vs. others. The shrimp salad cups were somewhat unremarkable and a bit too loaded with mayo (in my opinion). The shishito peppers were nice - I think I was the one at the table that enjoyed those the most. We did linger at our table for a long time - a combination of wait times and good conversation with friends. We never felt rushed or pressured to leave (there wasn't a wait or line for tables). All in all, we had a nice time at Cleome and will likely give it another try at some point - now that we know what to expect

Three entrees: Tried the Lobster Mac and Cheese again and it was MUCH better than previously reported! That was great as was the fried chicken- soooo good. My burger unfortunately didn't arrive until after everyone else at the table was done with their meals. Oh bother.... it tasted meh and it's clear they are using a very low fat ground beef which made the burger more like a tasteless hockey puck. Still, everything else was wonderful and the background music was audible and made the experience even better. The Egg nog cocktail we had at another visit a few days before was delish. Despite my burger, we were please with our experience. I can only hope that they reconsider their low fat ground beef for something a little more tasty and juicy. Recommended.

We discovered Morgan & Co. a couple of years ago and it's been one of our go-to places ever since. I'd read about Mint and people liked it a lot so we went there for brunch/lunch a few days ago. It did not disappoint. We had the opportunity to check it out following a wake in Queensbury. Our drinks were very good. My Limoncello Spritzer really hit the spot. My husband was delighted that his Bloody Mary did not include any olives (lol). However, $18 is steep for tomato juice, folks. We shared the Brussel Sprouts as a Starter. Both of us ordered the Crab and Scallop Cake Benny which was topped with hollandais, served on a bed of arugula and accompanied by tasty potatoes. Absolutely delicious! Our server was very nice. She seemed to be handling a lot of the tables and managed it well. We were not rushed nor did we feel neglected. It's a small place, cozy and welcoming. Love the china. There is a parking lot and also street parking. The menu is limited. If you have fussy eaters, you may want to check it out online before making a reservation (which is recommended). This warm cocktail was a total delight and absolutely hit the spot. We started with the house bread. It was crispy and well-executed, and the beurre blanc was silky and rich. I think it would have been even better with spaetzle, but the portion size was generous on its own--I'm just a starch girlie. My husband ordered the bolognese, which was flavorful and came in a healthy portion. He ended up taking some home, which we love because leftovers are never a bad thing. For dessert, we shared the pot de crème. The balance of caramel, saltiness, and chocolate was the perfect finish. The chocolate was rich and smooth. I also loved the décor--it was such a pleasant surprise to find a place like this in South Glens Falls.

The bar tender, Noah, was impressive and friendly in that he knew his liquor stock very well, and could explain the flavor intricacies of the various types of bourbon, vodka, and gins. They also offer some non,-alcoholic beverages for the "designated driver" of the group too. We watched Noah make everything from regular and "dirty martinis" with fresh ingredients, as well as one drink where he used a butane lighter and some tiny cedar chips in a straining tool above the drink to give it a fresh, authentic smoky look and flavor. Noah knows his stuff!!!!! The patrons were friendly, diverse, and easy to socialize with if you chose to do so. The establishment is pet friendly for "socialized pets" with a water bowl outside the establishment and some free Milkbone treats inside. Keep in mind that this establishment is a "tasting room" with the majority of products from the New Scotland Distillery, but there are other options. Just don't expect to get a Bud Light Draft or food here. The only downside is that parking in the Lark Steet and State Street location is difficult to obtain without some effort, but we managed to park our vehicles 2 blocks away. This is not a direct criticism of the establishment because the experience is well worth this minor potential inconvenience. We would definitely go back there again, especially for the specialty drinks or the flights and half flights of their bourbon and vodka products.
