    Not good root beer
    Kelsey H.

Food is okay. Pretty much what you would expect from a grill. Stay away from the pasta as it ain't great but that's to be expected from a place like this. Root beer was different from a previous experience here and as a root beer connoisseur, I was disappointed. Maybe you'll get a better one tho

Potato Gazpacho , I mean Potato Soup

Review COVID-19 adjusted. Heard great things from friends who had been here previously. Unfortunately we did not seem to have the same experience. First the potato soup, was cold. Supposed to be soup not gazpacho. Next, the menu. If you like chicken then you would like the chicken prepared 12 different ways they have. Unfortunately, we eat chicken all the time at home so why on vacation would we want chicken? So the Mrs. had eggplant parmigiana. Overall it was okay but tasted like one of the spice jars fell in the sauce giving it more of a spicy taste. Would not order it again. By default I had a Western Burger. Grilled onions, bacon, cheese, bbq sauce on a toasted bun. Standard fare which you could find anywhere. If I was to eat here again, I would consider it given I don't want to eat the chicken but definitely not going to happen. Finally, I give a star for the Cole Slaw. Slightly creamy with the vinegar tang. Definitely the high point of the meal. Lastly, we found out the restaurant was featured on the Food Network. Having not seeing the episode, we can't understand why. But really no interest to go back and figure out why. Plenty of other choices in the greater Lake George ares to try.

Outdoor seating that is dog friendly!

We had a nice meal here on a hot night. We snagged a table outside and tried the cornbread and some sandwiches. It started to get crowded around 7:00pm, so we beat the rush! Would come back again!

The best pizza I had in a very long time and the chicken parm was super moist and tasty!! I have been looking forward to eating here since watching Summer Rush and it lived up to the anticipation! I will be back to visit the area just so I can eat and hang out here again. The atmosphere and staff are all so welcoming!

Good choice for burgers, sandwiches and terrific pizza. The owner Jesse is a great guy. He actually called us on his day off regarding a VERY minor issue. Great service! Highly recommend. A good guy starting his way in the business. Good affordable food.

    Really good Chicken Teriyaki

The hot wings are amazing! The cornbread is a must have classic and you need to try the lasagna. It's so much better than his dad's!

Great early bird specials. Pizza was delicious. Friendly atmosphere. Owner walks around and asks how your food was . Can't wait to return.

Diamond Point Grill is a great low key no fuss restaurant with great food and staff. Perfect for large parties too.

How is the indoor/outdoor seating? Are the tables spaced in a safe way? thanks

Outdoor was very good. Indoor also was spaced properly. Outdoor was definitely better on a nice summer evening.

I think the imperial IPA was our fav. We shared the Buffalo cauliflower as an app and the big cranberry salad. It was plenty filling and perfect for an afternoon snack. The maple balsamic dressing was nice on the salad. Prices and service were as expected. Nothing crazy but dependably good.

Flavor on the food was just lacking. Even the Vermont cheddar cheese was bland and only a whisper of sharpness. The home made chips good but lacked anything special. The true problem of this place is the ownership/management. We went there little after it opened. To see a table with a 5 gallon bucket of utensils and servers doing their side work on a table you have to walk past to get to anywhere in the seating area. Then we come to the management/owner. My biggest pet peeve is doing the books or daily paperwork in the guest area. You have an office or a place away from your guests. Not in full view and with in ear shot of your guests. And not in a place where sound carries. The BIGGEST complaint is the language. You are the leader of your staff. You set an example for the behavior and attitude of your staff. Dropping F-BOMBS and other vulgar language is not at anytime acceptable. Clearly the servers knew it and didn't thankfully follow your lead. This is NOT your buddies garage or basement. You are having people come in and hearing your language and seeing and clearly hearing your behavior I can not recommend going here. If it was based on food maybe. But clearly the ownership and leadership will keep me away from here. Such potential wasted by such poor work ethics.

We stopped in for a quick late lunch bite at the bar today and it was really delicious. We shared…read morethe Tuscany chicken sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Honestly, half was more than enough for me -- and it came with fries and a pickle, which was plenty. I especially loved that it was served on ciabatta bread (so much better than a regular sandwich roll, in my opinion). Bloody Mary was nicely presented but not spicy enough! Sagamore is such a lovely venue, and since I'm a guest here for the weekend, there may be more reviews to come as the days go on. But so far... so good!!

We loved that this restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We didn't have a…read morereservation and were seated surprisingly quickly. The location and views are beautiful as well. Unfortunately, once seated, the experience started to unravel. While the view is spectacular when you're standing, the view from our table highlighted a lack of attention to basic upkeep. We were looking at dead leaves, spider webs, and general grime. For a luxury resort, I was genuinely surprised by the condition of the dining area. Service was another disappointment. Our waitress seemed wholly disinterested, not just with our table but with nearly every table around us. Guests were frequently trying to get her attention for forgotten items, drink refills, or simply to place orders. For dinner, my husband ordered the short rib pappardelle. I asked if I could have the spaghetti pomodoro but substitute pappardelle noodles. My son ordered plain spaghetti with light butter. When the food arrived, my son's pasta was swimming in butter to the point that we had to pour some onto a side plate. More frustrating was that both my husband and I were served the short rib pappardelle. When I explained that I had ordered the pomodoro sauce with pappardelle noodles, our server simply responded, "This is how the pappardelle is served." I understand how the confusion may have happened, but there was no attempt to clarify, correct the mistake, or offer an alternative. Had I known I couldn't substitute the pasta shape, I would have happily ordered the spaghetti pomodoro as listed on the menu. Given how long the meal had already taken, I reluctantly kept the dish. To be fair, we decided not to write the restaurant off completely and returned for breakfast later in the week. While the service was once again inattentive and disengaged, the food itself was much better than dinner. This restaurant has a lot going for it: a beautiful setting, convenient seating policy, and some good food. However, better attention to cleanliness, staff engagement, and order accuracy would go a long way toward creating the upscale experience you'd expect from a luxury resort.
