Was looking for a place that would accommodate our large family reunion group for dinner and Diamond Point Grille came to the rescue. I worked with Kat, who was very helpful in putting it all together. We were able to dine Sat night of a long weekend, although we were asked to come before 5pm, to avoid prime dinner time. Kat had me send our order ahead of time, which was a great idea so there was little to no wait. We sat at a long table in the front outdoor area, distanced from other tables. The wait service was excellent; our waitress came several times to check on us and our food and drinks came quickly. She even helped us take a group photo in front of the place! My only qualm would be the menu - it was a bit limited, and a few items were discontinued - but Kat was able to modify and make things work for us. Avoid this place like the plague. Every time I've been there, it's always a problem! The food is a very mixed bag; you might get something good or something really bad; somehow they made Korean barbecue taste so bland that it was tasteless! They're clearly coasting because they were on Food Network once or twice. They don't honor the signs that they have out front. (Early Dine and Happy Hour) It's very misleading. I made the owner aware of this, he gave some BS excuse that he "couldn't afford to keep doing it" but he would take them down. It's been well over a year since, and he never did. read more

Review COVID-19 adjusted. Heard great things from friends who had been here previously. Unfortunately we did not seem to have the same experience. First the potato soup, was cold. Supposed to be soup not gazpacho. Next, the menu. If you like chicken then you would like the chicken prepared 12 different ways they have. Unfortunately, we eat chicken all the time at home so why on vacation would we want chicken? So the Mrs. had eggplant parmigiana. Overall it was okay but tasted like one of the spice jars fell in the sauce giving it more of a spicy taste. Would not order it again. By default I had a Western Burger. Grilled onions, bacon, cheese, bbq sauce on a toasted bun. Standard fare which you could find anywhere. If I was to eat here again, I would consider it given I don't want to eat the chicken but definitely not going to happen. Finally, I give a star for the Cole Slaw. Slightly creamy with the vinegar tang. Definitely the high point of the meal. Lastly, we found out the restaurant was featured on the Food Network. Having not seeing the episode, we can't understand why. But really no interest to go back and figure out why. Plenty of other choices in the greater Lake George ares to try. read more

Everything was great! The food, the service, the atmosphere! My mom and I split the cheeseburger which at 1/2 a pound was plenty for the both of us. It also came with a decent size side salad with, in my opinion, good greens ...not the typical iceberg lettuce you usually get at a lot of restaurants. The food was pretty good here. I got the bbq braised beef sliders and they were so yummy. I've been here a couple of times and the servers are all very sweet and bubbly, which I like. I'm rating it four stars because each time I went, each waitresses have forgotten things a couple times. This time it was our drinks and last time it was our salads and pizza, etc. That's okay because the food makes up for it. The aesthetic is very Adirondacky while the atmosphere is very laid back. Service is not good but food was delicious. We made a reservation for 6:30 and told them we wanted to be seated inside when we called and we got there and they didn't have an inside table so we had to sit outside where it is hot and humid. The next issue we ran into was the pizza. We asked for a regular cheese pizza and clarified it 3 times and she still got it wrong and bought out a bbq brisket pizza. If you ask me that is hard to mess up. My last and final complaint will be the honey mustard. It came out looking like water and oil. There was a liquid sitting on the top and it didn't look appealing. But other than that the food was delicious. I got chicken tenders and fries. Very well cooked. Tried this place on a recommendation. Will not be back. We had a party of seven, three were kids. The Mac and cheese was bland and the kid that had it did not like it. There were raw potatoes in with the fries. The teriyaki chicken sandwich was a piece of chicken with some sort of sauce on it, and a slice of pineapple that was supposed to be grilled - no lettuce or tomato or anything else. They could not figure out how to make hot water for tea! No one enjoyed their meal, and one of the lobster tails tasted like bleach. It was also overpriced and very slow. They did remove the charge for the lobster after we told them that one of the two tails was not edible. The ladies room did not have any toilet paper. I went to the bar to tell someone and they had another person put toilet paper in the bathroom. I went in and it was still in the wrapper on the sink. read more

Want a party catered? Jessie and Diamond Point Grill are your go to! I was in a bind trying to figure out a menu for 65 people on Lake George last minute. Jessie made some suggestions and then drove all the way to our place, set up a great buffet and even remembered chicken and fries for the kiddos. The prime rib was melt in your mouth good. He suggested a pasta primavera and veggie side for our vegetarian friends which were also great. A large salad with more than just lettuce to suit all of my guests and finally delicious chicken piccata. Everyone raved about the food and Jessie made it so easy. Service was a little slow but we also were there during prime dinner hours and it was a full house. We ate outside, which is a large tent in front of the restaurant right on the main busy round going into / out of Lake George. Would go back next time we're in the area. read more

The best pizza I had in a very long time and the chicken parm was super moist and tasty!! I have been looking forward to eating here since watching Summer Rush and it lived up to the anticipation! We just pulled into this beautiful resort area and this was the only place open on the entire strip on a Saturday night and had the fastest service and the most delicious fish dinner ever. Came here last year at height of covid and really enjoyed the food, friendly and accommodating service and fair prices. A year later, come back to jacked up prices, smaller portions for kids meal, (10.99 for two chicken tenders and fries, wow) and a slow kitchen when I didn't order anything complicated. A $15 sandwich should at least have lettuce and tomato on it. BTW chicken wings shouldn't be $17 unless they are from a chicken that lays golden eggs. Yes I understand prices of things have went up this year, but not to the extent this establishment chose to jack up prices. Really felt taken advantage of Ohh and the bathroom door didn't lock, no paper towels, and dish soap in the dispenser for hand soap. First evening in Lake George and the 6 of us decided to go here because we had seen it on The Food Network. Choose this one out of the 3 family restaurants because it appeared more fun, didn't want Italian nor fru-fru expensive food. Food was great, staff was friendly and efficient. I got the Thursday night special; turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy and sautéed squash. Everything was great except the squash because I don't like squash. Me and my group of 9 had a reservation for 6:30, the person who we were on the phone with asked us if we wanted to sit inside or out. We specifically said inside. When we got there they didn't have any tables ready or made inside and we were forced to sit outside in 3 tables combined. Most of the servers and hosts tried to make up for it, but our waitress was not nice her name was Rachel, she was a bossy know it all. My cousin ordered a specific regular cheese pie pizza, Rachel even made us confirm what we wanted, then when the food came, they gave a barbecue brisket pie. We were very confused and Rachel tried saying we told her that we ordered the BBQ Brisket and acted like she knew all was very not friendly. Overall the food was pretty good, I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak I thought it was excellent and rich in flavor, we also the sweet and spicy wings for an appetizer, they were pretty good as well, a buffalo and Bbq wing mix. Went there for a late dinner, the place was very busy, so we decided to sit at the bar where the hostess told us we would get faster service,. Wow was she wrong, it took 20 mins of sitting there before the bar tender could even get our drink order, I got a ice tea that was so watered down I took 2 sips and it tasted just like week water. After 1/2 hour we got to order 2 different pizzas, hers was good as she ordered, mine was way over cooked, the bartender offered to replace but I didn't want to have to wait any longer. We had already waited more then an hour to get the food we got. I don't blame the bartender, he had so much going on because of how busy he was, he had to keep the bar patrons full and take and make the waitresses drinks and answer the call in orders and serve food, this poor man was way overwhelmed. The poor mangerment makes a nice place run poorly, he clearly needed more help and all the mangerment did was come remove money from his register, and never offered him any help. I love when a meal is so memorable I think about it for days. It's Tuesday night and I am still wishing I could go back and eat Saturday night's chicken teriyaki all over again. This is truly a hidden gem located outside of Lake George's busy town center. We discovered this little restaurant completely by accident during our recent weekend trip. We drove out from the town center along Lake Shore Drive this past Saturday night in search of dinner and happened to notice Diamond Point Grill and its busy parking lot - usually a good sign. The building is small and low-key, yet charming and inviting with cute striped awnings over each window. Diamond Point was busy at peak dinner time on Saturday night, but fortunately we were seated after only a short wait. The tables are tightly packed within the dining area, so do expect to sit rather close to neighbors. It may not be the best setting for private conversation. Bar seating is also available. We spent a few minutes chatting with some friendly locals while waiting for a table. They assured us we made a good choice, as they explained how they live nearby and are regular diners at Diamond Point. We learned that the chef and his wife are the owners. The owners were present, seemed super friendly, hard working, and made a point to stop by tables and check on their guests. Our server was also friendly and attentive. The menu is simple with a decent selection of reasonably priced American and Italian homestyle fare including sandwiches, burgers, chicken and steak entrees, a seafood selection which varies, chicken parm, and more. The restaurant also offers daily specials. I later noticed the specials are posted on Diamond Point's Facebook business page, which may be a helpful resource before stopping in for dinner. I decided on the chicken teriyaki with a side of green beans and a baked potato. My friend chose the chicken teriyaki sandwich with a side of fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly, lightly covered in a delicious teriyaki sauce, and adorned with pineapple slices. Even the green beans tasted better than average. My friend also commented on how good the chicken was. We shared a brownie sundae for dessert which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Five shiny and well-deserved stars for this little restaurant. I look forward to a return visit next time I am in the area. Diamond Point is definitely on point. read more

FOOD NETWORK FAN HERE! Anybody else watch Summer Rush? Lake George was one of those places we've always known about but never really had the urge to go. Once we saw the show, we knew we had to go! During this COVID pandemic, they're doing a great job at seating tables at a distance out on the tented patio. Our waitress, Lauren, was so cheerful and made us feel so welcome! We asked her to bring us a "surprise" of any 2 local beers and she ended up bringing us her absolute favorite, which I personally loved. We also had the lobster mac n cheese off the specials menu. It was divine! Cheesy, lobster-y, salty, topped with a breadcrumb layer. And to top it off, we got to meet the man, Jesse, himself! 4 stars, does yelp exist on lake george? 2 words, early bird special. ok, i guess thats three. i saved a bunch of summer vacation cash coming here and got a pretty nice filet with sides and soup. i also picked up my matlock season 2 dvd and some rice pudding. jk on those last two. seriously though, 15 bucks for a decent filet. this had to be 24 + bucks after 630 when it stopped being so special, but thats for you to figure out. i guess when choosing between the most lake time vs not spending a paycheck on a meal its a tough call. soda is in cans, so no refills you soda junkies and service was very good, although the place wasnt too filled up, so if you go prime time on a friday, could certainly be different. would i come here again? am i going to the lake anytime soon? are you?? read more

What a fun night! Heard about Diamond Pointe Grill from the "Summer Rush" show on the Food Network and decided to stop in during our weekend getaway. I'm glad we did. We were able to get two seats at the bar and met their fantastic bartender, Kat. She was so personable and funny. We had a meatball/sausage pizza, and with Kat's suggestion, ordered it crispy! Great move. It was excellent. We also met the owner, Jesse, who was nothing short of appreciative of our business and actually spent time talking with us about our experience. I don't know who was nicer - the wait staff team, the busboy or the locals! If you're ever in Lake George, definitely stop in. read more

Stopped in here for dinner one night. Service was very slow. Food was great, it was taco Tuesday so 3 of us ordered the tacos. When the bill came we were quite shocked. Two of us ordered a side of cornbread. They were $6.00 each! My son thought his lasagna came with two sides but we were charged for both. When questioned later, the waitress indicated his lasagna sides were the two slices of garlic bread that came with his meal. The total bill was $140 for 6 people. Staff was prompt and courteous, very helpful. The seating and atmosphere are casual, as is the menu, simple but covers the basics. We skipped the appetizers, but I added a delicious salad. After watching Summer Rush on Food Network, my family and I were very eager to try one of the 3 featured restaurants. We opted for Diamond Point as it was Burger Night. We were seated right away and placed our orders of an appetizer and 3 burgers. Fast forward an hour later and we finally got our food and we were never given the appetizer. The food was good but they missed the lettuce, tomato and pickle and the wait did not go unnoticed. As we were leaving our server apologized and mentioned that the takeout orders were holding them up. I hope they are able to get back to the swing of things once COVID passes (I'm rooting for Jesse as he's the underdog on Summer Rush) or at least put a hold on the amount of takeout orders. read more
