Brutally terrible restaurant. The "chef", "cook", is incapable of cooking a kid's cheeseburger as anything other than raw. After two tries asking for a cooked cheeseburger, we finally gave up. This restaurant should be avoided at all costs. Filthy and dumpy on the inside of the restaurant too. Not sure why food network featured this restaurant. read more

Just went in for a cozy dinner at the Diamond Point Grill, decided to sit at the bar, and must say the bartender Cat made us feel right at home! We ordered then veggie burger and a pizza and everything was perfect. Everything was reasonable priced, the drinks were strong, and the atmosphere was magnificent. I would definitely go back and would recommend it for anyone passing through diamond point or any locals. read more

Is it possible to give any less stars? Because if I could give it none I would. Since the new owners took over this place has steadily gone hill with no menu changes except for a few nightly specials here and there. Last night (7/27) our first night in town we decided we would give it one last try....BIG mistake on our part. It wasn't particularly crowded but about a half hour in we were informed that a film crew would be coming in, as someone in a serious line of work I cannot be filmed, a little warning when we came in would have been nice, we would have chosen to come another night. But wait! There's more! Apparently the waitress cared more about being on TV then our order because after almost 45minutes and my father opening his mouth (my dad has a longgggg fuse) we were finally given our appetizers, we then had to wait another half hour for our meals. At this point due to a heart condition I have I to had leave, there were production people everywhere and the small dining space was getting hotter and hotter. I'd prefer not to have palpitations while I eat my dinner, but I guess I expect a lot. The food was cold and mediocre, the drinks watered down, and the wait staff awful. We dined here successfully on a Friday night while in the area. It was awesome our waitress was attentive and had great suggestions for food and drinks. We decided to go again the next night (Saturday) the restaurant was a little busier. The bus boy sat me, the rest of the party walked in minutes later. The two waitresses on that night had a conversation and pointed at our table but no one came over to us! Everyone was quite hungry so we decided to order an Uber and within those 30 minutes waiting still no attention. We walked out and went to another place in the village. I would give it one more chance as the first time was great! However, had the second visit's experience been my first encounter I would be writing a review with 1 star. I think they need to staff better (both the floor and the kitchen) for busy summer evenings so that instances like this don't happen. By far the worst food I have ever had. Waste of $170.00!! Was looking forward to a good meal since seeing them on tv. What a mistake they was. Ordered eggplant - the pasta sauce was horrible - got about a spoonful of ziti that was cold. Asked for croutons on my salad and the waitress told me they make special and I couldn't have any. Got the peach sangria and they was also horrible. One person in our party had the scallop Caesar salad and he could even eat the scallops. The only thing that was edible were the chicken wings with no sauce. After spending all that money we had to go get a pizza in the village because we were all starving. read more

My family and I went to the Diamond Point Grill recently with high hopes considering this restaurant was on TV, but we were unpleasantly surprised. When we got there we saw that this establishment was not adhering to CDC guidelines like they advertise. The restaurant was packed with people inside and out, the workers there were in a panic over how many people were there! The owner of the restaurant was cooking the food and yelling at the people working there to the point of tears. When we got our food after around an hour wait, it wasn't very good. Two of us ordered chicken sandwiches that had caramelized onions and barbecue on them, except one of us had two small caramelized onions and a lot of raw onion, which wasn't what we ordered not to mention the fact that our French fries were extremely bland and the chicken was very dry. We are not planning to eat there ever again, they are putting people in danger of getting sick with the Coronavirus, being horrible to their workers, and have bad food for the prices they charge. We have no clue how this restaurant got onto the food network. read more

My wife and I had dinner here twice on our vacation. The first night was good. She had a chicken appetizer and coleslaw and I had the fish and chips. The fish was just slightly over cooked but other than that the quality was excellent. The next time she had the turkey dinner and I had a burger. Both were very good. The service was excellent both nights. My only complaint is the frozen shoestring fries!!! I would have knocked a star off for this but everything else was very good. read more

Food was great and so was the waitress. However, the prices are too much. Went in to eat during Americade and paid $25 for a meatloaf special. Don't get me wrong the meatloaf was excellent but $25 is way too much. Loved going here but won't be returning until the prices are a bit lower. read more

We drove past this place several times and it always appeared to be packed so it seemed like a promising place to try for dinner. The place only opens at 4:30 and does not take reservations. We sat outdoors and the seating isn't the most comfortable. We were seated at a picnic table with attached benches. The restaurant has no ambience but restarants should live and die on the quality of food and service. This restaurant, for the most part, delivered in both. The service was attentive and our waitress was uncommonly peppy and upbeat. The food was delicious. Its certainly not a fancy restaurant and I think a good description of the fare would be comfort food. The burgers were fresh and cooked to perfection. They had an interesting take on eggplant Parmigiano that was very good. They had a special entree of red snapper that was expertly prepared. The food portions were generous and the prices were exceptionally reasonable. The only drawback was that 2 members of our party were almost finished with their meals before the other 5 of us were served. To be fair, our waitress and a woman who I believe to have been a manager kept apologizing for the delay and the restaurant was packed. One warning, avoid the appetizer of fried mac and cheese balls. They have no cheese and no flavor, it is just deep fried elbow macaroni. read more

I have eaten here many times. Their burgers, turkey dinner & meatloaf are great. I had the pizza while in the restaurant....it is was very good. But I ordered a pizza tonight as take-out & it was totally different ---way too salty, larger but undercooked & not thin crust (like the one I had in the restaurant). Not sure why so different, disappointed b/c I was really looking forward to having the type of pizza I had in the restaurant. read more

We went to Diamond Point Grill last night for dinner. We started with some wings as an appetizer - medium heat wasn't overly hot, a bit on the sweeter side, but the wings were good. I had the turkey dinner special. This was really good, with a large amount of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green beans, cranberry and covered with gravy. Turkey special seemed to be popular item last night at the restaurant. Others in my party had the chicken bruschetta sandwich and the cheeseburger, which both liked a lot. The cheeseburger was quite large and only ate about 3/4 of it. All around very good, and we a place we would definitely return to while at Lake George. read more

We came with 4 adults and 4 kids. We all loved our food. I had Haddock. Other adults had Prime Rib and Meatloaf. Kids had burgers, chicken, and steak. Not a bad meal in the bunch. Waitress Asha was an awesome waitress. She remembered all the little things and did it with a smile. Dessert was huge. Save room. 3 scoops of ice cream with a brownie or homemade chocolate chip cookies. We are from along a island and have been at top restaurants and this did not disappoint.
