Not good root beer
Kelsey H.

Food is okay. Pretty much what you would expect from a grill. Stay away from the pasta as it ain't great but that's to be expected from a place like this. Root beer was different from a previous experience here and as a root beer connoisseur, I was disappointed. Maybe you'll get a better one tho

Potato Gazpacho , I mean Potato Soup
Phil H.

Review COVID-19 adjusted. Heard great things from friends who had been here previously. Unfortunately we did not seem to have the same experience. First the potato soup, was cold. Supposed to be soup not gazpacho. Next, the menu. If you like chicken then you would like the chicken prepared 12 different ways they have. Unfortunately, we eat chicken all the time at home so why on vacation would we want chicken? So the Mrs. had eggplant parmigiana. Overall it was okay but tasted like one of the spice jars fell in the sauce giving it more of a spicy taste. Would not order it again. By default I had a Western Burger. Grilled onions, bacon, cheese, bbq sauce on a toasted bun. Standard fare which you could find anywhere. If I was to eat here again, I would consider it given I don't want to eat the chicken but definitely not going to happen. Finally, I give a star for the Cole Slaw. Slightly creamy with the vinegar tang. Definitely the high point of the meal. Lastly, we found out the restaurant was featured on the Food Network. Having not seeing the episode, we can't understand why. But really no interest to go back and figure out why. Plenty of other choices in the greater Lake George ares to try.

Outdoor seating that is dog friendly!

We had a nice meal here on a hot night. We snagged a table outside and tried the cornbread and some sandwiches. It started to get crowded around 7:00pm, so we beat the rush! Would come back again!

The best pizza I had in a very long time and the chicken parm was super moist and tasty!! I have been looking forward to eating here since watching Summer Rush and it lived up to the anticipation! I will be back to visit the area just so I can eat and hang out here again. The atmosphere and staff are all so welcoming!

Good choice for burgers, sandwiches and terrific pizza. The owner Jesse is a great guy. He actually called us on his day off regarding a VERY minor issue. Great service! Highly recommend. A good guy starting his way in the business. Good affordable food.

How is the indoor/outdoor seating? Are the tables spaced in a safe way? thanks

Outdoor was very good. Indoor also was spaced properly. Outdoor was definitely better on a nice summer evening.

Another win for Me in Vermont!!! Yummy food! Sweet and…read moreefficient staff!! Easy atmosphere with familiar music is just what I needed on my grumpy ( not common) weekend! I had some really Yum burger with bacon, onions, on a gluten free bun!! I got the chips with a side of slaw, cause veggies!! All good! I'm working a gig with youth this semester so I'm abstaining from alcohol: The Athletic Mexican is delish! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!!

Wanted to enjoy this place. However left with amazement, disappointment and utter lack of…read moreprofessionalism. Start with the food it was ok. Nothing wow or great just ok. Flavor on the food was just lacking. Even the Vermont cheddar cheese was bland and only a whisper of sharpness. The home made chips good but lacked anything special. The true problem of this place is the ownership/management. We went there little after it opened. To see a table with a 5 gallon bucket of utensils and servers doing their side work on a table you have to walk past to get to anywhere in the seating area. Then we come to the management/owner. My biggest pet peeve is doing the books or daily paperwork in the guest area. You have an office or a place away from your guests. Not in full view and with in ear shot of your guests. And not in a place where sound carries. The BIGGEST complaint is the language. You are the leader of your staff. You set an example for the behavior and attitude of your staff. Dropping F-BOMBS and other vulgar language is not at anytime acceptable. Clearly the servers knew it and didn't thankfully follow your lead. This is NOT your buddies garage or basement. You are having people come in and hearing your language and seeing and clearly hearing your behavior I can not recommend going here. If it was based on food maybe. But clearly the ownership and leadership will keep me away from here. Such potential wasted by such poor work ethics.
