As a Lake George regulars from NYC, we always have a hard time finding really good quality food in the village. We were so happy to find this awesome spot just a block off Canada street. Tacos were fantastic, homemade chips and salsa had great flavor. There are also lots of cool and unique drinks on the menu. Servers are nice and efficient and the vibe inside is top notch. This small family restaurant just off Canada Street happened to be located next to our inn, so we strolled in for a late-afternoon cocktail. We were warmly welcomed, and treated to some fantastic drinks and attentive service. The bartended, Jose, is clearly a master at his craft. Watching him prepare our drinks was a show to behold! Better yet, the drinks were divine! When we returned the next afternoon, we were welcomed like old friends. We didn't dine at Del Lago, so we can speak only of the bar experience. This young restaurant deserves more attention--so do give it a try! read more

Not our favorite food. Food lacked flavor in our opinion. It was pretty empty on a Sunday night.

first the server was very forgetful of what we requested like: forgetting kids menu, sweat tea, and food we ordered. the food was good for one thing but we had a big thing of water that didn't taste right it almost tasted like shower water. Well being a local we decided to try our newest restaurant in Lake George. Now for you who go on their website and read the reviews please take this review from my own and the other four couples who are also locals as our own experience. I never trusted opinions on a restaurants own site as Managers and employees have been known to put their own opinions in to draw up business. You have to try it for yourself to have your own opinions and experiences. Now on to my own review. The atmosphere and ambiance are great. The staff was helpful and friendly. But that is where it ends. What I can say is the food was overpriced with very small portions. It was very bland tasting. My tacos were small with hardly any filling. We were all disappointed with our meals. The drinks were pretty much the average price for a tourist area but beers were a dollar to two dollars depending what was ordered, overpriced. We were so disappointed that we didn't order deserts. Be that as it may all I can say is if your up in the area and want a more authentic Mexican meal take the trip down to South Glens Falls and visit Mi Rancho. It may not have the ambiance but the food is much more to a Mexican style cuisine. If you don't mind to drive, Saratoga also has excellent Mexican style restaurants as well. Gave this place a try because it's new and we're local...not good. Renovations from former 10 McGillis are greatly improved, it's very nice inside, but the food...yikes. Went basic and had chicken tacos, was not real chicken. This was low quality rubber chicken that comes in a frozen bag with pre-made grill marks. Beans and rice were mediocre. Overall I don't think I will go back. I do enjoy Biscotti Brothers though. read more

We have been here 3 times. It has been consistent each time which you cannot say about many of the other restaurants in Lake George. Food is tasty and well-seasoned (another thing you can't really say about the other Lake George restaurants). We've had the bone in pork chop, enchiladas(ask for salsa and queso on the side),fajitas(my husband usually never orders them because they usually lack flavor-these did not lack flavor!) octopus, shrimp app, trash can nachos-(which are HUGE!), shrimp tacos ( 3 small tacos- I think menu says that), smash burger (asked for bacon which was not on the menu, and they put a pile of thick cut bacon on top) and the chips with queso and chorizo. The cocktails are great! Finally, someone in town that is serving craft cocktails creatively presented to make things fun and enjoyable. It's hard to stomach the rocket fuel they serve elsewhere. Now about the staff! Truly Amazing! All smiles, welcoming and warm. Eager to provide you with quality service. The manager, she is a sweetheart (sorry I'm horrible with names) The vibe of the place is great, with upbeat music playing that you can actually hear. I, by the way rarely write reviews but I had to. we live in Lake George and absolutely love their other restaurant Saluti's, so we had to try their new Mexican restaurant....it did not disappoint! They did an amazing job fixing up the restaurant, it is bright, clean and love the music. Staff was very friendly and eager to please. The warm tortilla chips were delish and the guacamole had a nice fresh taste. We both ordered their beef chimichangas which were very tender, the side dish of black beans was very good, not from a can that's for sure! We would have loved to try dessert but we were stuffed. We will definitely be back! Nice to have a good local Mexican restaurant! read more
