Went to this coffee shop over a month ago and am coming back to write a review because I enjoyed it that much. Housmade syrups, seasonal drinks, cozy atmosphere. Finding this coffee shop in the middle of the Adirondacks, I was not expecting it to be as a good as it was. Went 2 days in a row. I still crave an iced latte from this place. A well made latte where the sweetness of syrups did not overpower the espresso but added a delicious combination of flavor. It was busy both days, but rightfully so.

We love this local coffee shop when we are in town. The coffee is always hot and the food is always tasty. The people are very friendly despite how busy they are usually. I usually get the breakfast sandwich but changed it up and got a cinnamon roll which was delicious. My husband got a breakfast sandwich on the gluten free bread. The coffee shop has comfortable sitting areas either to eat or to wait for your to go order.

My first time here, after my San Francisco daughter described it as "so hipster!!" In SCHROON LAKE?? Yes. Don't be intimidated by the lines- be patient. You're on lake time. Today they had, not avocado toast, but cucumber toast. What is that? I could only imagine soggy puréed cukes on bread. No, it was described as toast spread with a cheese, sliced cucumbers and everything bagel spice on top. I was tempted, but had a paninied sour dough of mozzarella, pesto and tomatoes. VERY good! Coffee was very good: I only had plain medium roast, no complaints. I will definitely be back -there are cushioned chairs and comfy seating in back. A great addition to downtown "Mayberry."

Delicious Coffee and ample breakfast options. it is a nice clean cafe with lot of seating and friendly staff. This place is right across the street from lake, you can either enjoy your coffee in cafe or make it a to-go to enjoy it with lake views

The Guatemalan pour over was worth the wait. Whenever I have luxury time and a pour over is available , I partake. I'm a sucker for one. There was a choice between Ethiopian and Guatemalan, went for the darker of the two. Busy stream of customers for all manner of legitimate espresso and coffee drinks, all manner of milks as well. Serve breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Although the staff is young, they seem to know their way around a hand crafted cup of coffee. Plenty of places to sit and hang out, cute little patio with Adirondack chairs, and really close to the boat launch. The reports of the hot chocolate was "pretty good, not hot enough". They made a really cute rose on top with the whip cream, how can that be bad.

Lattes and bagel sandwiches were delish to start our day!

We loved the lattes! They weigh out their added flavors so you get a consistent experience every time! I had a vanilla maple, hubs had Nutella latte! They were delish! The everything bagel sandwiches were a great start to our day of adventuring! Service was great and staff was friendly!

We were in the mood for lunch and they were only serving breakfast that Sunday. So, we opted for the most lunch-ish thing available that wasn't too heavy. Bagels and cream cheese. They were perfectly toasted and there was plenty of spreadable cream cheese. It made for a perfect light lunch. I don't eat eggs, so it did limit my options. If you do eat eggs, their breakfast dishes with eggs look amazing. Of course, we tried the coffee. It was very good and we loved the mugs. The place is rustic-charming. The service was good. It's a busy place. We loved the regulars who stopped in and didn't even need to say what they wanted. The servers already knew. The service is good but slow. Not sure if that's because they were busy or if they're just not the type to rush things. The bathrooms are clean. There is an up-charge for credit cards. It's hard to resist buying mugs and coffee to take home. The cookies were so hard to resist we bought some to keep us snack-happy on our travels. Definitely a good place to stop.

While I haven't had the opportunity to try the entire menu just yet, I can say confidently the home fries live up to the hype. I understand why they're called home fries because they reminded me of home. It looks like they're doing some renovation on the second floor, I wonder if that'll result in even more seating. If that's the case then it'll take this cafe to the next level.

I was very happy to see a section in the fishing area devoted to Hinckley spoons, including the renowned 88's which, to me, are the best lures for attracting lake trout. Crossroads also sells live bait. Their worms have more squirm, and their shiners are finer. Prices reasonable. A smallish breakfast area, but their sandwiches are eggggcellent. Even gas prices, considering Crossroads is a bit off the beaten path, are comparable to the Stewart's on rte 8. And my friend, Locomotive Breath, who never passes up an opportunity to patronize a bathroom, says the men's room is clean and the "bathroom tissue" (toilet paper) is 2-ply! We always visit Crossroads when in the area. Highly recommend! 5 stars!

From the welcoming "a place upstate" Adirondack chair out front to the cozy, shingle-sided exterior, this spot perfectly captures that rustic, high-peaks aesthetic. But it's the quality of the brew that truly sets it apart. The Espresso The espresso at Capisce is a masterclass in balance. It's rich and full-bodied with a velvety crema that hints at the care put into every pull. You won't find any bitterness here--just a smooth, complex shot that serves as the perfect foundation for their signature drinks. The Lattes Whether you need to warm up after a chilly morning at the lake or cool down after a mountain bike ride, their lattes are top-tier: Hot Lattes: The milk is steamed to a perfect micro-foam consistency--silky, sweet, and light. It blends beautifully with the espresso, creating a comforting drink that feels as artisanal as the surroundings. Iced Lattes: These are exceptionally refreshing. They manage to keep the espresso flavor front and center without letting the milk or ice wash it out. It's the ideal companion for a sunny afternoon on the patio. The Atmosphere There is something uniquely relaxing about grabbing a drink and sitting among the trees and rocks outside this cabin-style shop. It's clearly a favorite for locals and travelers alike, and for good reason--the "upstate" vibe is genuine, and the coffee is world-class. The service is full of happiness.
