I haven't been to this restaurant in a while. The California hamburger was good and had a nice size portion which I wasn't expecting. The service was good as well. The waitress came by our table every 5 minutes to check on us. The ambiance was that of a sports bar. I do have to say though.......i ordered an "old fashion" and boy was it strong. I've been to other restaurants where the "old fashion" was weak and expensive for no reason. This wasn't the case for Heroes. Good job guys. read more

We love coming here, the food is always on point and the portions are huge and totally worth the price. We came for Father's Day and it was great as always. The service from Mike was top notch as well as Jon who took over towards the end of our meal. They definitely have one of the best Michelada I've ever had they are definitely top 3 all time. The sandwiches are all great as well as the pizza our kids love it. It's loud and fun vibes in the restaurant with sports on all the TVs for entertainment. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Huge portions and good food, but was rather noisy with scattered service. Came with a group of 6 friends for lunch on a Saturday before hitting up the nearby Cheech museum. We got there soon after they opened and were able to get a large table on their spacious patio with no problems. It's a nice patio, but the music was a little too loud (for us old ladies anyway) and we asked if they could turn it down a bit. Our server said he'd see what he could do, and I think it did get a little quieter on that front, but once the patio filled up with more people and combined with all the road noise from the nearby busy street, it was a lost cause. The inside wasn't much better, judging from the time I went to use the restroom. We resigned ourselves and made the best of it. Since I was still brunch-minded, I got the Avocado toast with a coffee, and it was really good--large and tasty. I forget what all my friends had but the consensus was that everyone enjoyed their food. The guy who was our server in the beginning got switched out and it took a while for his replacement to realize we were there, so it was a lot of waiting around to get our check and get it settled. On my first visit I had a burger with fries and started with the wedge salad. OMG The salad was so good and the burger large, juicy and delicious. This week when I returned I ordered the sticky ribs appetizer. IT WAS HUGE! I ate half. The ribs are tasty and cooked moist and fall off the bone and the fries are good. You won't get thirsty because they bring your water and soft drinks in GIANT glasses. I LOVE THIS! I didn't feel the food was worth the price. I ordered their steak and it mostly tasted like I was chewing on peppercorns the whole time. I don't know if they over seasoned it or if that's the flavor they were going for. I've had better steaks at half the cost. My baby girl had the Mac and cheese off the kids menu and it was super bland. She wouldn't even eat it and at $10 a bowl it was a waste. The sand Wich bread held up to the amount of meat and cheese. So much food I had to bring home half. The thick sliced Tri tip had super thick slices of Tri tip and piled high with the onion straws. The Rueben sandwich was piled high with sauerkraut and their house pastrami. The pastrami was delicious not full of fat like some other places. I come here on the regular. The service, food, and atmosphere is ALWAYS sooooo amazing. But on this day in particular, my sister and I met up after work to celebrate our grandfathers heavenly birthday. We bought him a Coors light to sit there with us at the bar, while we drank and cheers'd to it. And as we got towards the end of our stay, one of the bartenders, Aaron, asked us if we wanted to have a birthday celebration for our grandfather. We told him we weren't sure, and by the time the song we played in honor of our grandfather came on TouchTunes, we had a beautiful birthday dessert in front of us. It literally brought us to tears. Menu says it comes with Potatoes O'Brien, but then that isn't a choice to select. My egg whites were still a bit runny...gross. Also, there was no seasoning, very bland. Avocado Toast was a joke.
