This is a little sandwich shop I came across. First timer and it was very good. The customer service is great. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and was more than willing to substitute certain meats on my sandwich. It is a small shop so more so of a grab and go. The hero was very good that I would def come by again and try another one of their options.

Very solid sandwich shop. They have a wide variety of options to choose from - im not sure if they do custom sandwich's but would imagine so. I asked about the most popular sandwiches and was told about the belly buster. It did not disappoint. Very packed. Was made on the spot and was delicious. Sandwich is large so a half would be enough for one person.

This is half a #4 (Hot Italian) sub

This is a nice little sandwich shop on Franklin Ave in Nutley. The service is friendly and boy, they know how to make a sandwich! The hot Italian sub (#4) is great, with lots of meat and cheese with just the right roll and consistency. And they have specials: The Hoboken (Wed & Sat) has hot roast beef, gravy, and fresh mozzarella. The Pink Pig (Mon & Tue) is a pulled pork and cheddar cheese sandwich. There are other special sandwiches available daily including a vegetarian option. Neither my wife nor I could finish more than half a sandwich, they are very large. Side salads are nice, we liked their potato and tortellini salads. This is on my list of places that I am willing to drive over 20 minutes to get to for the food. Highly recommended.

This is worth the trip no matter where you are I'm glad I drove around I went to three places and had sandwiches made and told the people I'm not buying it after I saw them make it this place is awesome I highly recommend

Would be able to order the Lobster Roll tomorrow 3/4 for delivery?

We close at 3:00, and usually by 1:00 we are out of the Lobster Rolls. People order 4 or 5 Lobster Rolls at one time. We do not delivery. We use Uber Eats for our deliviers.

Old school Italian Deli, which I totally love. They got everything from your traditionally Italian cold cut sammich to the Hoboken (roast beef, mutz and gravy). Service was pretty swift. We got 3 sandwiches. My wife and myself got a chicken based sandwich and the kid got a meatball parm. If I didn't see it for myself, I would've never known, but it threw me back. They warm the chicken up in a microwave. I'm not sure why when the meatballs they brought in the back to the ovens to make my son's sandwich. I just found that very odd. I got the chicken cutlet, with provolone and broccoli rabe. Sandwich was excellent. I was really in the mood for crunchy semolina bread, but this was still very good. My son loved the meatball sammich. So all in all, a very solid spot. You can dine in or take home. (We brought it home).

Entering the shop, we immediately appreciated the decor, the scents, and the lovely meat case displaying cold cuts, flatbreads, and other Italian delicacies. The fridges were stocked with take home soups, cheeses in brine and more. Had a nice chat with someone who might have been a manager or owner who helped us navigate the menu and make our choices. I had a sandwich with imported ham and garlic sautéed broccoli rabe on a crusty roll with bocconcini. She had the Parma with prosciutto, fresh moz, arugula, sun dried tomatoes and balsamic glaze. Both of us were delighted with our sandwiches. They were huge and the fact the cold cuts were freshly sliced put them over the top. We ate them with imported potato chips and local sodas bottled specially for the shop. We're not in the area very often, but we'll make it a point to come back - with a cooler this time to bring some delicacies home to Maine.

Turns out, the…read moreguy is a former CPA/Accountant who decided he had been a "bean counter" for far too long ... so he decided to take a risk, and opened this cute Italian deli "around a year ago.." Anyway, after umpiring a well played 14U baseball game in Yanticaw Park, I found myself hungry for a filling Italian sub. I consulted Yelp! which highly recommended Salumeria Regina ... which certainly sounded Italian to me! lol Anyway, since the place was pretty quiet (it was after 2PM) I wound up chit chatting with the Owner (see above.) I actually wound up ordering a Salumeria Salad, which was akin to an Italian Chef Salad, only with Salami and Ham. Truth be told, the salad was a wee bit disappointing, because it was sorely lacking a few standard Chef Salad staples, such as a little sliced turkey or roast beef, maybe a second kind of "contrasting" cheese, a hard boiled egg, and possibly some olives or peppers, something to give it a little more variety. I did ask to substitute Arugula for the traditional Iceberg Lettuce; and add sun-dried tomatoes, so perhaps it was my own fault for substituting other ingredients. The salad was packaged in a nice sized container, but it was dominated by fresh Mozzarella, which was, indeed delicious. Next time, I will definitely try one of their more popular sItalian subs, which had been my original idea!

They host small private groups (3-6 people), and the space felt really cozy and intimate. By day it's a sandwich shop (the sandwiches look amazing!) and he also sells fresh homemade pasta and sauces to take home -- we can't wait to go back and try them. Mike reached out beforehand to ask about our preferences, which was such a thoughtful touch. The night started with a delicious antipasto spread, dip with bread, and a burrata salad, then we learned to make pasta from scratch. Mike was friendly, funny, and super patient. It was very beginner-friendly and we learned so much. Robyn was also super sweet and helpful -- she packaged up the pasta we made and regularly checked on us at the table to make sure we had everything we needed. Afterward we enjoyed multiple pasta dishes, amazing dessert, and we left completely stuffed with extras packaged to take home. It's BYOB and the experience lasted almost 3 hours. Perfect for a small group or girls night -- we can't wait to go back and highly recommend!
