Where to I begin. I make an appointment for 8:00 am but when I arrived 7:45 there was a line of cars to check in. There was one person in the office. The time before this when I made an appointment and left the truck there for the day, they didn't even address the truck's issues. Unfortunately a year later I come back and it looks like the 75K maintenance was an oil change? I went for an oil change and the reps checked the VIN and they found nothing much had been done. The coolant needed to be flushed and was bubbling and gross looking. I did try contacting after the owner responded with no response or call back. It's a shame really. First the battery two weeks later and now this. I know it's been a year but due to Covid the car wasn't driven as often. It feels like at the time any issues should have been addressed vs finding out later on that it wasn't. read more

This place is absolutely without a doubt the worst service department I have to deal with . Every single time they have an excuse as to why they cannot do the work that day . Now I schedule the appointment several weeks in advance every time . I also state what is needed . You would think they are a ford dealer you would have access to parts for ford vehicles. I have a service van that is used for work . So 2 days without is 2 days not making money . And shall we speak of the guys at the service department? How do these guys keep their jobs ? Recently I had my fleet vehicle towed to this establishment. I should of checked the reviews before towing my vehicle here, but it was less then 2 miles away. Also, I recently purchased a different vehicle there and everyone was pleasant. The new vehicle came with free oil changes and I figured I would get familiar with this location. Well toy shocking discovery this place is an absolute joke. OJ ( Omar Jimenez) is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He should change careers, he has the worst attitude as if everyone is bothering him. When I first received his business card I was wondering why it had a cell phone number. That way you cannot leave a message because of the mail box being full and if you text you will not receive a response. You would think after an inspection of your vehicle you would receive a call or update. Not one time. Never received a call back or text back. I had to call the dealership five times to finally get a hold of this guy. Not one other person wanted to help. The receptionist has the same attitude as this OJ guy. My vehicle has a transmission problem and I was expecting to get a loaner. He said not until we do a tear down. Which maybe done in three weeks. Wow what's the point. I immediately towed my vehicle to another Ford dealership. Within four days of being there I received 3 updates and I'm on my way. I will never deal with this place again. Run for your lives! I found a vehicle I liked at another dealer(Price Ford in Turlock) that was priced perfectly, and had the exact list of features I was looking for. I contacted their internet sales person, Dona (pronounced Donna) and she told me that she could get the exact vehicle for the price quoted by Price Ford. She said her manager ok'd it (I have text messages to corroborate all of this. I just wanted to give my local Ford dealership my business, as opposed to going out of town. I showed up, and Dona greets me, AND IMMEDIATELY passes me off to someone else, who has no idea what I'm looking for, and what price was agreed on. Also, the gentleman's extent of command of English was "free oil changes for life!" Then he brings me a price 600 bucks higher than what Dona had agreed to! I got up and walked out. The Sales Manager literally chased me out into the parking lot, but once you lie to me, I will never consider doing business with you. Free oil changes aren't sufficient deodorant to cover up these folks business practices. Also, I might add, I got the truck and price I wanted from Price Ford in Turlock, without even going to Turlock. Mitchell brought it to my house, and we signed in our kitchen! I moved back to California for a new job. I came to Heritage Ford the Saturday before my first day to buy a car that I could drive to work. My experiences with dealerships in the past have been fairly good ones, staff that's almost too friendly, and too willing to help. That was not my experience with Heritage Ford. I was an easy sell, in terms of buying the car, so no complaints about the sales team. But... the car broke down in less than 24 hours. It happens, I know and I have a warranty so no biggie. They offered to tow the vehicle to their lot the following day but Heritage Ford made no effort to help with me being out of a vehicle the day before a new job. A lot full of cars but none that they could spare for the time to repair my vehicle. No offer to pay for a rental. Just hands up. My expectations weren't high but I expect more from car dealerships. Do what's right for your wallet but you may want to avoid Heritage Ford if you can. read more

My son took my car that I purchased there brand new for my oil change. I went to go to work and I'm thoroughly disgusted. I have a leather tan interior and tan cloth areas. The entire area by the visor is coated in grease and dirt from the hands of whoever serviced my vehicle. I called and service was already gone for the day and the sales person who answered was new and disconnected my call as he attempted to transfer it to voicemail. I told the employee I was going to express my experience so this will come to no surprise to the older Hispanic man maybe early 50s Cars and vehicles are not covered they say they are but when something happens "Ford cant help you" HORRIBLE SERVICE. I felt unsafe from an employee he had no regards for professionalism or dress attire. I understand people have tattoos but prison tattoos should be covered up at work for professionalism and trust in a company. I actually felt unsafe talking to the bald employee in the back office across from car shop. The lack of respect for customers is incredible I plan to talk further to your mangment thanks again for the worst service imaginable. Worst dealership around. The transmission went out on my focus, it was covered by an extended warranty. I was told the repair would be 2 weeks because the part was on backorder, well 8 weeks later I got my car back. I had to pay 500 dollars towards a rental and now they're trying to make me pay 500 more. I will never get another ford! read more

I found out their service department is very unprofessional about giving you detailed information when you bring your Vehicle . I had called in asked about making an appointment and the gentleman told me the next one available is five days out , I then asked him how long will it take and he said a couple hours , I said I really didn't wanna wait around for that long he said bring the vehicle in at 7 AM in the morning will get you in and get you out in one hour, So I did that two hours later I asked about the vehicle and had even touched , I just said forget it and took my Ranger and left . The service guy should've told me when I went up to his desk that it was gonna be 3 to 4 hours just to get my oil changed. For the manager that takes care the oil change at 11pm on 5/2/23, you single handed started off my day GRAND! You forget about my oil change after 2 HOURS, made wait another 30mins, being reminded once beforehand, tell me that I needed to wait "about 20mins" FOR PAPER WORK, and to top; gave me the most bare minimum apology.... The ONE thing that made this review a 2 star is one of the front desk assistants that made an effort to not make it an even bigger problem. Thank you. read more

Johnson helped me to purchase a Maverick they had coming in on inventory. He was very helpful and I ended up purchasing the vehicle. I wasn't from the area so wasn't sure how I'd be received. However, he kept his word and facilitated the process. I was a bit bummed about the extra charge, but it was fair considering the market currently. They could have charged a lot more. read more

My husband needed a few seconds to go out side and think about a couple of things and the Manager( wish i got his name) brought him back in and sat him down like a child and asked why he wasnt buying the car? Dear Reader, I always read these "Five Star Reviews" with a fair bit of skepticism, particularly in this case. This is because of my experience over several months with Heritage Ford, the unkept promises, the inability to address a problem with the vehicle that wasn't there when I took it in, and last but not least, my next door neighbor Jeff J. who has had similar experience with them. It seems that this dealership never once delivered on promises to have his vehicle ready when they said they would. He finally got so disgusted that he refuses to take it back there. Is it any wonder that people in general do not seem to have a favorable impression of car dealers? The bottom line? I made eight trips and ended up with commitments not kept and a LOT of time wasted and a car that does not idle as it should and drops RPM on a load as simple as raising a window or turning on the rear window heater. I suspect it's the culture of this dealership and their service department in particular to behave in this manner. First time using Heritage's Service Department. I bought my 2017 F-150 from Leo Rivas (awesome salesperson!) back on June 3, 2017. Made an appointment online a week before my service date today. I was very concerned with what to expects based on other reviews I've read. When I showed up, there must have been 15 cars in the service lane. I was preparing to spend my day at Heritage at that point. I wasn't sure if i needed to wait or go inside. Someone pulled in behind me and went inside, so I followed. There were about 15 customers sitting in the waiting room. Omar asked if I was the person with the silver F-150 and asked what time my appointment was. I told him 8:15 AM (it was about 8:10 AM when he wrote up the order). He said it would be about an hour. It took about 2, but I was in no hurry and with as many cars he had there, my service wait time was more than fair and was prepared to wait as long as it would take. Plus, the coffee was awesome, fresh and super hot. I had 3 cups. I waited out in the showroom and it was super quiet. They had a great music selection playing and the whole place is super clean. The restroom was one of the cleanest I've seen. Very comfortable wait. By the way, the service lanes were also well maintained and cleaned. No oil, fluids or anything on the ground. I was reading the news on my phone, but, while waiting, all of the sales staff I saw who were helping folks were doing a great job. They really took care of folks. I saw you, Leo, but you didn't say hello :-). You were busy, though. They performed the 7,500 mile service and Omar said it would come out to about $22 for the tire rotation, but they ended up zeroing it out. So the full service cost $0. Love the lifetime oil changes. Rudy Garcia III was the technician who took care of my vehicle. I've had bad experiences in the past with small repair shops and my old Dodge dealer where oil and grime were tracked in and out of the vehicle and steering wheel felt grimy and gritty after the service. I always had to go home and wipe everything down and scrub the oils marks off of my floor mats and door trim. So I was really stressed about what to expect. I didn't say anything to Omar because this my first service visit and decided these folks deserved a chance. I was NOT disappointed. Rudy treated my vehicle as if it were his own. After a very nice and pleasant cashier experience, I walked out and my truck was ready to go, nice and clean and had no marks or grime inside. I took it to get gas and popped the hood expecting to see oil everywhere because past places always rushed and made messes. Rudy did a GREAT job and spilled no oil anywhere in the engine compartment. I have had oils spilled all over with my past Dodge dealer experiences. Rudy really took care of everything and the engine compartment was clean and there are no leaks on my driveway. He filled out a "report card" that detailed his work. I really liked that touch. Often times, service writers have to abbreviate stuff. This report card is color coded and all check boxes. Super easy to understand and covers it all. My first service experience with Heritage was GREAT from scheduling online through to completion and all staff were great. It really restores my faith from very bad experiences from past dealerships I've dealt with and put to rest any concerns I had with the Yelp reviews I was reading about Heritage's Service department. I felt respected as a customer and felt my time and my vehicle were respected, too. Thank you, Heritage, for a great experience from my initial sales experience with Leo to my first service experience. Keep this standard up and I will be a customer of yours for life. Knock on wood I've had no problems with my F-150. I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life when I switched from Ford to Dodge back in 2002. If I could I would give these people negative stars. They are EXACTLY what everyone despises is a car dealership. You cannot trust a single person who works here. They have lying and manipulation down to a science. Be very weary of you choose to do business here. They do not care if you come back or if you recommend them to your friends. In fact they are so far removed from customer service it's a wonder anyone darkens their door. Clearly I was foolish enough to do that. Last year when I was in the market for a car they tried to sell me a vehicle for thousands over what other dealerships were asking (guess who didn't make that sale) and today when I was using the Kelly blue book sell to a dealer feature they quoted me less than 25% of what KBB said I should expect from a dealer who contacted me (guess who didn't buy a car). I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Making appointments online shouldn't be an option if they don't update in their system. I had to reschedule in person and then find out the appointment was never made. They took my car for an oil change which was nice of them. I understand there is a process and they have a lot of customers due to the free oil change for life. The guys who check people in are rude and aren't very clear with what they want you to do. I asked about an appointment I needed to make and I was never told if it was scheduled or the time. Then when I got my keys and asked about the appointment and the guy just brushes me off sending me to a section where I was told customers shouldn't go to. I wouldn't be making a review if this was the first time, but I've had multiple issues here from the day I bought my car and after today it doesn't even matter that I get a free oil change if it comes with bad customer service. read more

!!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! Update from my last review. I was really hoping that I would have something better to say, but I don't. We brought our Explorer in to find out what was wrong with it. The engine fan stayed on until the battery eventually dies...sometimes that would take hours. So when I dropped my car off 8/5 at 9 am for my appointment...my car fan was still running. Omar J. Was the rep that was helping us. He actually got into my car and moved it, and also experienced my running fan. After we checked in, we had 2 recalls that were added to the list of things to get done in my car. Sadly, we were given a run around all day. Nobody could tell us anything about our car. Not what was wrong with it, or even if it was being worked in. We were transferred from one answering machine to the next. I left a message with the service dept manager too...still never heard back. When we finally heard back from someone about our car it was 4:45pm that day. With a very short notice that we needed to pick up Our car since they close at 5:30. Omar says they found nothing wrong with our car, even after him witnessing himself my running fan. When my husband and I finally got through rush hour traffic we were late, and had to pick up our car keys from the sales dept. no papers not nothing about what these guys even did to my car! I don't even know if they fixed my recalls! So a week later, we finally get a return call by the not so helpful Omar J. He informed us that no recalls were fixed! So exactly why was my car there 8 hours? If they "couldn't" find an issue, and they didn't fix the recalls!? This place just gets worse! Unreal! We will never come here again. Pretty bad experience, came in to look at a 2020 Mustang GT and assistant sales manager Graham Wariso would not work with me on the price. Just a few days ago there was a heritage discount which he said was no longer on the table because "they needed to make money" but I thought Ford was looking out for Americans during this crisis? Apparently Heritage Ford cares more about money than they do their customers. I was ready to sign on the dot for the right deal but Graham didn't want to make it. And no test drives? They "don't want to add miles to their new cars" they didn't mention COVID in the reasoning at all. I'm not sure if they thought I was too young to buy a car but I was treated unprofessionally and I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. Edit: In response to Brett, no effort was made by Graham in order to work with me on the price of the car, he gave no counter offer. He stated we cannot do that and got up and walked away, very unprofessional. As for the COVID restrictions, I completely understand the restrictions, that is not my issue. My issue is that I could not test drive a car I wanted to purchase and the only reason given was "we don't want to put miles on our new cars". A few weeks back, my little sister sent me a picture of her brand new car that my dad bought for her, he went through a gang load of dealers and wound up in this neck of the woods.. He was MORE than pleased with the service offered to him. It was almost like he wanted to leave a huge tip for Juan who helped him find my little sister the right car for her! Fast forward six weeks; My husband was driving my 2001 VW JETTA and it gave it's last life on him... I called my dad like always and was begging for him to fix it, he told me to just stay calm and he's going to make some phone calls... He called me back in about 35 minutes and said, "Let's go get you guys a brand new car!" He again, went through Juan and Juan promised he would make something work! After filling out the application, it was the waiting game... We were nervous we weren't going to be approved... Juan, then came back to us about every 5 minutes checking on us and just making small talk, but providing the most exceptional customer service for us! Once approved and in our vehicle, he went over everything with us! Straight down to detail. We are so satisfied with the service we received last night! All in all, I'm sure nobody needed to hear it all, but to make my long review short: We spoke with about 7 of the staff members at Heritage and they were all so nice, but Juan went above and beyond! I had a 10:15 am appointment, left to the mall and came back at 12:30 pm. They said the truck hadn't been started yet and that they wouldn't be able to start until 1 o'clock because everybody was on lunch. I was so disappointed. This happens to me every time I come here. On top of that something goes wrong with my truck every time I leave here too. Since I bought it in 2018 the tires went bad and the berrings went out. read more

I had been going here a while my AC went out only to have them tell me $1200 to fix it now I had a good relationship with the tech reps and been going a while to see Jesse. I think he got comfortable and his true colors came out of trying to rip me off. I took it to not one but two auto shops and did not inform them of the issue and they both quoted $250 and $220 to fix the AC. The fix was made for nearly $1000 bucks less. Absolutely ridiculous not to mention why even set an appointment for this place it will take 2-4 hours for an oil change. In the market for a new vehicle I requested an "e price" via their website from Heritage. I was promptly contacted by a sales person via email. When I asked for him to please send me the best price they could offer on the vehicle they featured on their website he insisted he could only get me his best price if I made an offer first. When I told him that I was requesting their pricing that their website said I would receive if I provided contact information and I did not negotiate in this manner, he insisted that unless I gave him a price he could not get the sale manager to give me a price.
