My old condenser finally breathed its last breath. I had already repaired it a few times and the…read morelast repair only bought me a few more weeks. When the repair guy told me there was no warranty on the work because my AC was so old, I knew it was time to stop throwing money at it and replace the whole thing. I started calling around and getting quotes from several HVAC companies. Surprisingly, the pricing was all pretty similar. The big difference was the equipment. A lot of the companies were quoting brands I either hadn't heard of or didn't have much confidence in. Evolution was the only company I spoke with that was using American Standard and really stood behind the quality of the equipment they were installing. That ultimately made the decision for me. The entire process with Evolution was professional and easy. They showed up, got to work, and had the full installation completed in about 5 to 6 hours. I was expecting the house to be without AC most of the day, but they got everything done much faster than I expected. We've had the new system running and love it. The first thing we noticed was how QUIET it is. Our old condenser was so loud that you always knew when it kicked on. With the new one, I sometimes have to actually listen for it to make sure it's running. Replacing an entire AC system is not exactly something anyone gets excited about spending money on, but if I had to do it, I'm glad I went with Evolution. Good equipment, professional installation, and no games with the pricing. Very happy with the decision.

It's quieter, cooler, and more energy efficient. One insider tip if you poured concrete around your condenser pad and if it was larger that the new pad, you can ask to fill the opening with gravel. I dry poured some concrete to partially fill the opening and bought a larger condenser pad to help stability.

Temps hitting high 90's and at 4pm, our AC fan stops spinning. I called Veteran Air at 9am and they…read morehad someone out the same day (it was just a few hours). Not only someone, but Kirk. Kirk was FANTASTIC! Our unit is 20 years old, we have never really had regular maintenance on it. He showed up super early (they asked if that was okay, and YES thank you). Before he arrived they sent a text with his name and photo. I absolutely love this! That extra safety is so important. Kirk looked at our unit and asked some questions. He explained all they do with the "family plan" so we signed up. I am one of those that needs to be reminded of scheduled upkeep so this is perfect. He gave us the estimate before he started and I asked for a very rough estimate of a new unit (having no idea) so we decided to go with repair and hope for the best. The repair wasn't cheap but considering all the work that needed to be done as well as it being an older unit, I feel it was a very fair price. I think we did have the best with Kirk. He was able to repair our unit and give it some much needed TLC for our AC unit and furnace. He even installed our pre-purchased thermostat! Kirk was polite and considerate. He took time to answer all of our questions and ensured us that we could reach out with any questions, I believe him. Service people can often be rushed, there is a lot of work out there, but not Kirk. He didn't waste time either, I felt like he was in and out in no time at all. By the time he left we understood all that was done and what we need to do to get some additional service from our current unit. I could not be happier with the call I made this morning. I picked the right people to call!

We reached out to J Martin and they were incredibly responsive, came out the same day, quickly diagnosed the issue and had our AC repaired and running properly again. When it's this hot, getting someone out quickly is one thing -- getting the problem diagnosed and fixed the same day is another. The entire experience was professional, efficient and straightforward from start to finish. Really appreciate the urgency and quality of service. We'll absolutely be using J Martin again for any future HVAC needs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the area.

We ended up with an all new heat pump system that is quiet and really efficient (17.5 SEER2). We already anticipated need for a new system since every tech that came in last 5 years said it was on its last leg, before it finally died during an extreme heat warning. The installation crew arrived on time, were very respectful of our garage items (helped move bikes to backyard and even used cloths to cover from the sun!), never complained about the working conditions (hot garage and tight garden area for fan unit), and were informative about the process. They also left our property very clean and tidy upon job completion after a single (and very hot) day of installation. As a bonus, I was not expecting the excellent craftsmanship of the lovely stainless platform cover over the new plywood they cut-to-fit for the removal of the old/damaged platform/box deck, and they used duct-board and sealant to finally make the interior of the intake under the unit sealed from all the walls and dust generation that has been blown throughout the home since the 1970s. Could not be happier with the end product as well as the process from inspection/quote to system startup. I would recommend Air Blue HVAC to my mom, friends/family, and to you! Give them an opportunity to earn your business as they offered us the best price on the best system. Thank you, Air Blue HVAC team!

The first company (which we do not want to disclose their name) did not go well; they said we needed to spend around $1K on this repair immediately, otherwise, the unit will not last this summer. So we've searched for another HVAC company for a second opinion. That how we've found Trinity Heating and AC, and we are grateful that we were able to find them. Jimmy came to our house and inspected/repaired the unit on the same day with 1/3 of the cost quoted from the first HVAC company. He clearly explained what was wrong with the unit and he was transparent with which replacement part was needed. No scare tactics, No forceful subsription, No BS. We also appreicate how the company provided (and forementions) about their military discount. I felt that I had to go with them from the first call based on how much respect the company held/exhibited toward military service during my first call. In sum, we are grateful that we found them and we would surely contact them again in the future (if needed).

One issue I have, however, is the lack of transparency with pricing. We paid $600 for a New Dual Run Capacitor and $500 for a new contactor relay switch. Everyone I've talked to since the repair has said that that's really expensive. I'll assume the additional price was because it was on a Sunday? I'll never know because I already paid and it's done. But also if he had told me it would've been XXX to get it fixed on a different day instead, I would've considered that.
