Sean and his crew was amazing. I live in a condo complex and while the units within the building were people's individual homes, at the same time, the building was commercial in design. I was recommended to Sean from another AC company who didn't feel comfortable doing work with a commercial style building. I got a new HVAC system installed. The price was very fair and he even gave me a credit for the thermostat since I wanted a particular model of the Ecobee. I provided it myself and he installed it after the project was done. Even with the annoying HOA process of getting Sean and his crew approved to do the work, Sean was patient and amazing about it. A friend of mine who does home theater installations recommended SPC (Sean). Back in 2016 at my previous condo in Aliso Viejo, the A/C crapped out mid-summer. Sean came out on a Saturday morning, diagnosed the problem, tidied-up some wiring, and got the A/C running again. He has the diagnostic equipment and knowledge to handle troubleshooting quickly and efficiently (time is money, right?). In 2017 I bought a 1957 vintage Roy Russell home in West Floral Park (Santa Ana). It had a newish HVAC system (previous owner replaced everything in 2012 and added A/C), but the house had sat empty for 8 months, so the HVAC had not been used regularly. About two months after I moved in the A/C konked-out on a hot July day. Called Sean; it was simply a clogged A/C condenser line. He blew it out with compressed Nitrogen and I was back in business (I practically had to force him to take some money!). Fast forward a few months after that the A/C again kicked the bucket. Sean came out and, after troubleshooting, determined the main control board had come to grief. He called the manufacturer and they determined the board was still under warranty. Sean drove to Laguna Hills the next day to get the unit swapped-out and I asked him to get a few replacement filters while he was at it. Again, just a nominal fee for his time, the replacement filters, and labor. It's such a pleasure doing business with an owner-operator who says what he does, and does what he says. Never an upsell or any high-pressure sales tactics. Highly recommended! Also, Sean is a car guy, so don't get us started taking about our toys! read more

SPC did a great job for us and I highly recommend Sean for any HVAC work. We bought a fixer upper house and after getting bids from 5 HVAC companies I decided to go with Sean. He had the best price and was the most responsive and helpful of any of the bidders. First problem on the job was to get rid of the old asbestos duct work. Sean hooked me up with a company that could do it and got me a great rate. Planning the installation was a breeze as Sean asked a lot of question to understand what we want and how to best install the equipment. The layout of our house has a great room with vaulted ceilings that did not lend itself to a proper ducting, but Sean figured out the best way to do it. Installation itself was quick. Sean had to come back a couple of times, working around the other subs on the job to get everything completed. When it was all done he walked us thru everything and we now had a nice warm house Fast forward 6 months to winter, and now our heat is not working (as you will see, not Sean's fault). I called Sean and left a message. Turns out he was on vacation, but called me back 5 minutes later and walked me thru some trouble shooting. I could not fix the problem so as soon as he got back from vacation he came over and fixed the problem. Turns out the problem had nothing to due with Sean's installation or equipment. The problem was one of the others subs disconnected some wires in the attic to the furnace after installation and broke it. Even though the problem had nothing to do with Sean's work, he gave me a no charge warranty call for the fix Great price, great service, great guy. Can't recommend him enough. Sean's work is a cut above the rest. He takes pride in his projects and it shows in the level detail. His customer service is top notch. His pricing was much more reasonable than several other companies. He installed a health related air filter with UV system in my AC unit. He also determined that the large AC plenum in my home was built of fiberglass for some reason. It appears the home builder in my neighborhood was cutting costs so several areas of the AC system were made out of fiberglass; hmm. Over the years the fiberglass would definitely breakdown and blow particles throughout the home. Sean custom made new plenums out of steal. So, our 11yr old AC unit decided to die during this week's SoCal triple digit heat wave. Lovely timing. Specifically the compressor died.
