I was able to get an appointment in less than 24 hours. Communication throughout was great. Their pricing is tough to beat. Will get a tuneup from them every year because it's so easy. If I ever need major A/C work, I will definitely be calling Air Services! read more

Had a tech come over for a summer tune up on a new construction. Didn't have shoe covers and had to ask him to take off his shoes He poke two holes in the vents to measure the temperature difference. What the heck. Go down to the vent and measure the difference versus making holes in the new vents. He blew a fuse on the unit and had to get it new one He dirtied and damaged the paint on the ceiling. To clean the condenser, he just used a blower. Other companies wash it down. In summary, the tech made more damage than even helped. read more

Had an AC leak and Tim came to the rescue! He was highly recommended by a bunch of our neighbors and he did not disappoint. We've recently needed to get our mini split system replaced and one of our friends recommended Tim (the owner of Air Service Mechanical). We couldn't ask for a better experience and service from start to end. Tim and his crew showed up on time, did an outstanding installation. During the installation, Tim faced a more difficult than expected electrical issue and he fixed it in a very professional manner. We highly recommended Air Service Mechanical for any commercial or residential AC needs. Based on our experience with Tim, we trust that he will be there and stand behind their services whenever there is an issue. The person we used before was nowhere to be found when our AC needed service. A + for Air Service Mechanical read more

Air Services Mechancial - Our 2 ton compressor - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Redlands, California

These guys are awesome! This review is long overdue but I want to express my thanks and share the great experience I had with Air Services Mechanical. Last summer, my mother's AC unit was having problems cooling her house. Her York system was just outside of the 10 year warranty and according to the HVAC company that she had an expensive service contract with, the unit was unrepairable. To our surprise, they said the whole system needed to be replaced, not just the condenser which had a bad coil. After receiving bids from two separate contractors, both who wanted to replace everything at 13-15,000 dollars, I called Air Services. I found them on the York website as a recommended and authorized dealer in our area. From the moment I called, I knew I was in good hands. Sandy was so personable, she understood the problem and offered to send someone out right away. She assured me that they are an honest company, and they will not "fish" me, like some of the other guys. It was the busy time of summer, and they were in the middle of a big commercial job, but Sandy managed to fit me in, and scheduled Tim to come right away. Tim was awesome. Within a short time, he had diagnosed the problem, and within hours we had a solution. Over the next couple days, Tim worked with his suppliers and found us a New Slimline Condenser, offered us a special deal to install a very slightly dented unit with full warranty. He even went out to the distributer to send pictures of the condenser for our approval. Air services had saved us over 11,000 dollars. On top of that, Tim reconnected ducting in the Attic that the other guys wanted to outsource and charge us, he updated the power we had coming to the unit, serviced the existing equipment, and got us going within a few days. Flash forward to today. Everything has been working great. With the summer approaching and a service coming up, I thought of the awesome people at Air Services. That's why I am writing this late review. I am looking forward to scheduling our next service with these great people. Thanks Tim and Sandy! read more

Called Saturday morning, and Tim was able to come out the same day and fix our AC. Very professional and great service all the way around.

40 year old furnace had trouble hooking up with new digital thermostat. We used Tim at Air Services Mechanical for a new furnace at another location and were very happy with the work. He came out the same day and immediately fixed the problem and confirmed the furnace was functioning properly. Very knowledgeable. read more

Incredible service, customer relations, and no strong-arm tactics I've encountered with other companies. Tim and Sandy were professional and a pleasure to do business with. Thought our compressor was shot but Tim found only a bad part that needed replacement and was honest enough to tell us. Would highly, highly recommend them. read more

Thank goodness for Air Services Mechanical! My heater and air conditioner has been broken for a long time and we put off fixing it because we were scared of costs. Family and friends recommended this place and referred me to Sandy! I called the number and spoke with her on the phone and she gave me a very reasonable price and the job was done so quickly! I definitely recommend Sandy and Air Services to anyone and everyone. Thank you!! read more

I was so fortunate to find Air Services Mechanical on Yelp. Even though I was a first time customer, ASM squeezed me into their busy schedule. What I really appreciated about ASM is that they didn't try to sell me service or items I didn't need. ASM is my new go to company for any future air/heater problems. We have been trying to get our heater fixed for about a month. We had the home owners warranty company, Platinum Heating from First American Title come and that was a complete joke. Then we had ABC Plumbing come and that was another joke. We called Air Services this morning, they came out at noon, found the problem immediately but needed a part. The tech went back to his shop , picked up the part and had heat on in about 2 hours. They were awesome and highly recommend !!!! Will use for all our needs. read more

Awesome company, A/C went out on a HOT November day. Contacted then based on a referral at Colony Park, receptionist was great, Tim was already booked for that same day but since he had a repair down the street he was able to squeeze me in. My heater broke down a few months ago and I definitely lagged on it. I called a few places and this was the only that got back to me within the same day. Sandy was a great help, asking a bunch of questions to make sure she had the right idea on how to fix our heater. She was able to work around my tight schedule for the repair and it was done quick! They make sure to tell you what they're doing in a simple manner when they arrive. They've got fast and great service. Highly recommended!! read more

My AC unit stopped blowing cold air, so I called Air Services Mechanical! I needed it to be fixed as soon as possible because I had a house party that night. Luckily, Tim was able to squeeze me in and he even came on time! Tim and his partners were very polite and professional. read more

Absolutely the most professional, friendly and cost effective solution for your HVAC needs. We used the service yesterday after our AC stopped blowing cold air at 2:30am. I called air services (after calling 2 other companies and getting service dates of over 2 weeks!) and they were able to get a tech out to me within a few hours. The tech (Tim) was fast and professional and was able to find the most cost effective solution to our AC problem. He understood we have small children in the home and worked not stop until the job was done and they were able to enjoy an AC'd home again. The management company messaged me after the job was complete making sure everything was ok and we were satisfied with the service. Great to find a company that truly cares about its customers. 5 stars is not enough. read more

Our central heating went out on Christmas Eve, it was cold! I called several HVAC companies to get quotes. The company that did the last service on my furnace/AC wanted over $19,000, so I kept getting quotes. I called Air Services, getting their phone number from the York website. I talked with Tim. He was very knowledgeable about about HVAC systems in general. I decided to stay with York. They have the features I want. Tim put together a "top of the line" system for me. This included central forced air furnace included replacing the air conditioning coil/condenser and all the ducting in the attic with R8 ducting which has thicker insulation. With tax and installation, he was THOUSANDS of dollars less, even with the upgraded system. Tim and Erylen came to my house and did a excellent installation. They were very careful of my property. The had shoe covers masked and covered all my stuff with plastic sheeting. He thought the furnace would fit through the opening in the attic, but he had to cut the opening to make it fit. After this the attic access door would not fit. He called a construction team he works with to repair the opening. They came and cleaned up the saw cuts, framed the opening with nice wood molding and made a new door. They painted it white to match the closet. They did a beautiful job. Air Services covered the cost! Tim is a perfectionist. He crawled up in the attic multiple times, installed air dams and adjusted them to make sure there was equal air flow through all the vents. I highly recommend Air Services for any HVAC service. In fact I'm going to have them replace my old exhaust in my bathrooms. They are very honest and trustworthy. Stephen S read more

Absolutely the best! Tim and Guillermo never gave up trying to get my units working. They are friendly and very professional. I called mid day and was still made a priority. The messages letting you know when your tech is arriving is also very helpful. I will call them every time I have a problem going forward! Thank you Tim for your professionalism and hard work. I appreciate all that you do. read more

Probably one of the best AC mechanics in the area! My AC system has not been working for a while and it was about time I would get it fixed before summer. I tried calling many other AC company but half of them didn't even answer my calls or gave me a call back... but this place was different. They immediately took my call and asked for my availability and what was wrong with the AC system. I scheduled a date with them and they came on time, and worked very efficiently and was finished shorter than I expected! Frank was very helpful and cooperative. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fast, efficient and promising results ! read more

i was having a problem with the heating in my house. I'm cheap, so of course i tried to troubleshoot the problem myself, to no avail. I came across The Honest Guys via recommendation by a close relative. Tim came (one of the Honest Guys) it took him MINUTES to diagnose the problem, and before i knew it i was hanging back warm for winter! This was several months ago, just thought i'd show some appreciation for the excellent service. The customer service was great too, these guys sure do put effort into giving an all around efficient and enjoyable experience. The Honest Guys, they're on my list! Ciao read more

They call themselves honest and they are...Based on my problem, Reb, the gentleman who answered my call, could have come out and charged me a bunch of money... Instead he told me how to fix it myself, it was basically re-setting a button... This is honesty! And now in the future when the hammer drops and my HVAC really has a problem, guess who I'm going to call...Yep, you guessed it, these guys... I've never met these people before, I am NOT a friend, I just tell it how it is...Cheers read more

The Honest Guys were actually the 2nd company I called! The first company came out and told me that I had to replce my unit. That didn't make sense to me because my unit was only 10 years old. I called Reb at The honest guys and he said he would come out for free to give me a second opinion. He made a minor repair and my A/C is working beautifully. I have referred them to all my friends. Wow Air Services Mechanical took my by surprise. I thought they would be some ordinary repair company...but they definitely were not at all. My air conditioning stopped in the middle of a hot California summer. My family and I were suffering and needed someone to repair the AC fast. All the other companies we called said they would be able to come in a couple days!!!! We knew we couldnt wait that long so that is when we gave air services Mechanical a try. They literally came within hours and fixed the AC with their expertise. Thank you!!! read more

I did exactly as previous posters had done & found these folks on Yelp. I chose them because of their 5* reviews and proximity to my mobilehome on the coast. Reb called back quickly and came to my home after finishing the job he was on. I asked for an estimate to rework ducting, and he cheerfully slithered into a very small crawl space opening...an area so tight that he got stuck for a few minutes when trying to get out. Afterword he turned the heater on to test the airflow. It wasn't until then that I found out that the heater wasn't even working. He fixed it right then & there by testing wires, connections and then taking the carbon monoxide exhaust fan assembly apart, freeing the shaft and putting it back together...all for no charge! Did he earn my duct work business? Yes, but I'll have to do some asbestos abatement first. He deserves an A+. read more

Tim and his staff are fast and responsive. He was quick with the trouble shooting. I highly recommend Air Services Mechanical for air conditioning needs. Thanks Tim for all your help. read more

These guys are the best! The owner, Reb, is reliable, friendly and his prices can't be beat. I called 4 different companies to see if anyone would come out just to check our system without us having to be obligated to use their services. Reb not only came out to check out our unit, but it as actually free (most places will try to work some kind of fee in) and there was ZERO pressure to use his services after he diagnosed the problem. He was so friendly, both my husband and I felt 100% confidence in choosing them to do the needed tune ups on our unit. We will absolutely be recommending them to our friends and family in the future. read more

I called this company because I saw the great reviews on Yelp. The other repair companies I called charged for an estimate and just to tell what the problem is. This company didn't charge. Reb had someone available to come look at the air conditioning unit the next day. Santiago came and was very professional and friendly. His diagnosis of the problem was exactly what we thought it was (we researched first on how an air conditioner works). He didn't try to tell us we needed a new unit or tell us we needed something that we didn't. He also showed us how to properly turn the unit on/off. We had been doing it wrong all these years. The same day, Santiago fixed the air conditioner unit. I'm so happy. I will be recommending this company to all my friends and neighbors and will definitely be using them again soon if we decide to install a unit in my mom's home. They really are The Honest Guys. read more

First off, I have not done work with The Honest Guys...yet. I had an issue with my home warranty company and another HVAC company. Reb gave me a solid amount of time on the phone to consult with me, even though I had to use another company via my insurance provider. He then told me to call him back if I had any further questions. That truly is an honest guy who gives a consumer his time when he knows he is not getting business. Thanks! read more

WOW! Honest Guys is the right name for this company. I think I've only taken the time to write a yelp review twice ever and there was no question that I was going to take the time to write this one. Here is my experience in a nutshell: 1. I called Reb 24 hours ago and my AC is already fixed. 2. They came out to assess & diagnose the problem at NO CHARGE. Most other companies charge a minimum of $95 3. Frank was awesome, explained everything, found the problem right away, and had it fixed within 45 minutes. He even gave me tips for how to use and maintain the AC with the most efficiency. 4. and MOST IMPORTANT. I was told by another company (who took forever to schedule with and required multiple visits) that they would need to replace the entire unit for $4000 (after paying them $95 to diagnose the problem). The Honest Guys fixed it for $450! These guys have earned my business from here on out! I am one happy customer! read more

They are amazing. My Air stopped working last week. On Friday I called them to schedule a time to come out. Tim was able to come out that same day with in 2 hours. Tim and Nicole was so kind and polite. I had called other places but they all wanted to charge about $99.00 to come out. For me since I rent I was not sure if my landlord would fix the problem and I did not want to be out $99. I know that if the cost was too high that my landlord would not fix. So when I saw they had not change service I knew they were the ones to call. They came out and the cost to fix my problem was only $150.00. I knew with that price that even if my Landlord will not pay for it. I knew it was worth it for me. I would recommend them to anyone . Loving my Air in Anaheim :) read more

Tim is a life saver!!! My husband called him today to see if he was available to check out our AC, come to find out he was on his way home but decided to still stop by our house to check it out at no cost. We found out that a fuse went out so he changed it at no cost. Before leaving he tested everything to make sure it was all working properly and ended up finding out that our transformer was fried as well as the circuit board. He replaced the transformer right away but the circuit board he needed to order. Tim was able to get my AC up and running in the meantime and will be returning after he receives our circuit board to install it. Turns out a cable outside our AC unit was burnt because it wasn't installed properly, which caused the fuse and circuit board to fry after a while. All for reasonable pricing!!!!! Everyone else was charging a price to just come and diagnose the problem (as I figured) but he didn't. I'm just happy my AC is working now!. I shared this on my community Facebook and I already have people saying they will be calling Tim! read more

To Whom It May Concern, Reb visited our condo in Carlsbad on Tuesday 2/25/14 to assess the leak coming from our air condition/heating vent. He came to the preliminary conclusion that we only needed more insulation, and so he added it. The charge was $85. He also advised that if this didn't work, he'd have to come back and remove everything to flush it out, etc. Unfortunately, not more than 2 days after we had him over, the leak returned. So we called and the voicemail box was full, so we were not able to leave a message. We finally got through on Friday and left a message (2/28/14), with no return call. I left another message on Sunday 3/2/14, still no return call. Meanwhile, we have a bucket collecting the leaking water in our hallway for a week now. I am very disappointed in the service we have received. The job is incomplete as far as I'm concerned, and we can't even get a call back. We don't mind paying for the service (that is not the issue), but it is extremely frustrating to be avoided when a problem with the initial service arises. Their Yelp postings were so exemplary, which is the reason we chose their company in the first place. Not true for us unfortunately. read more
