I was back in town for a conference and had always wanted to try this place while I lived here. I came by late on a Monday night since I hadn't eaten dinner yet, and Henry's has lots to offer on the late-night menu. Perhaps there was a different crowd than on a weekend. It was not very busy, but it was obvious this is a locals bar from the way folks joked with bartenders. Although, there was a couple really drunk gals there and a server asked the bartender to cut them off, in that kind of joking but not joking way. The bartender didn't cut them off. I hope they weren't driving. The bar is beautiful with warm wood and a mirror behind the bar making the place feel bigger that it is, yet still a cozy dive. I ordered a raspberry lemon drop that was too sweet. The BBQ chicken flatbread I had for dinner came out looking like a cheese pizza; however, the BBQ chicken was under all the cheese, which seemed to work flavor wise, but it's a bit rich. So, probably best to share since a couple pieces is all you need.

Stopped into Henry's for the first on a Sunday night... What a cool place. Henry's has an old school vintage vibe (similar to that of The Pine Club in Dayton, but not as high-end). There was a good mix of people and they were steady for a Sunday night. We were waiting on quickly and our server was friendly. We got the the Henry's Burger and a couple of drought beers... The food came out super quick and the burgers were great - One of the best burgers we've had in FW. We'll definitely be back...

Nice dark ambiance, booth style, ok drinks, nice versatility in menu homemade desserts, open late.

It's a bar with no cocktail list and a server who doesn't drink. My drink tasted just awful. The tables were so dirty and uncomfortable. The service was very slow. We ordered the fried pickles and they were so gross and I didnt want to order anything else. I got sick to my stomach the next day. One of the worst bars I've ever been to. :( the art was cool.

Cheap drinks, good company. Share appetizers with friends here. Lots of yummy options to choose from. Patio is lit.

Decent place. If you have +4 people in your group don't get a booth. It's way too small. Service was slow. It took the waitress several minutes to refill our drinks or even clear some of the already used dishes away. For our apprezier, we had the chicken livers. It was a good portion, and comes with a mustard sauce. For my entree, I had the pork tenderloin. The presentation was nice as all the toppings were on the side. (Onions, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise) The sandwich was pretty tasty. As a side, I had the pasta salad. I tried the Blake's Hard Cider for the first time, and thought it was excellent. The environment is nice, as it has a lot of wood elements. Henry's restaurant has a private parking lot but it fills up quickly so there is street parking available.

A Fort Wayne institution. Neighborhood bar feel, quality food and good pricing, and they serve food late into the evening.

She made great recommendations and helped us decide based on our time constraints. She was attentive and gave us a lot of information about the food, live music, DJ and art for sale on all the walls. We weren't super hungry, so we tried the flatbread - sooo good. I will be back because the whole menu, including the drinks, sound wonderful. They offered zero spirit, GL and other substitutions if needed which is nice. The atmosphere has a moody, darker hang out vibe to it. I loved it and can't wait to bring some friends and family back! She recommended reservations on the weekends, especially on "First Fridays" as that's when they do events and an art crawl on Broadway when the weather is nice. We parked on the street in front of the building so I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. They do have outdoor seating as well in the front of the building. I remember when this location was a food co-op waaaaaaay back in the day. They did a great job transforming it into a relaxing bar and restaurant. We will go back and I highly recommend you check it out!

We ordered the fried avocado which was served with pickled onions and a spicy dip - very good and the bonus was a happy hour discount. Hubby had the Cheddar Smash burger with fries as his side choice (other options are onion petals or a side salad). Catsup was complimentary but there was a charge for the garlic aioli. Good but nothing stand out. I had the Brie and Berry grilled cheese without the prosciutto. My choice of side was the onion petals. Again, tasty but not standout. Ahlana served us quickly and with a smile, checking in several times to see if we were enjoying our meal. It was kind of dark inside (adding to the atmosphere no doubt) and there is a collection of eclectic art work. We were not fans of the music but we are old! There is outside seating but road noise may take away enjoyment of dining here. Enjoyable meal.

Eating in the front area...especially in the open area is really unpleasant. It's loud. The TV's are loud. You can't talk and enjoy the conversation. On this trip...we dinned in the "back" room. What a difference! The noise level was minimal. We asked the waitress to turn down the volume and she did. This allowed us to enjoy our conversation and dinner. Great job done by our waitress Zhoee. She was patient, professional, friendly and very helpful to the older members of our party. She was responsive to the loud speakers we were asked to turn them down. Zhoee kept the refills coming while serving us well!! We started started with the Cuban quesadillas. This is really a MUST try. The meat is very flavorful. The pickled onions and sauce inside the quesadilla are delicious!! I particularly like the house salads. They are very fresh and attractive. Plenty of side veggies and crunchy/boldly garlic flavored croutons. I tried the Thai ginger dressing this time. I loved the mild flavors. You could pick up the hints of peanut sauce and ginger coming through. It is moderate in consistency and delicious! I've never had their Mac & cheese so we gave it a try. A nice thick and creamy white cheese sauce. The cavatappi style noodles were perfectly cooked! The cheese stuck to the noodles beautifully. The cheese sauce was so tasty that you almost wanted to like the bowl. On this trip I went with the wings and dry rub seasoning. Nothing else on the menu appealed to me that visit. I got six small to medium sized wings in this order. The insides were fully white without being tough or dry. The skin was a bit crunchy so I'm sure they were fried. The dry rub has a mild traditional BBQ flavor. The wings were really coated in dry rub. I don't think there was a speck of skin showing through. At times I felt like I was eating more dry rub than chicken. The rub comes off very salty - which I liked. It didn't have an after taste burn - which I also liked. The BBQ was pleasant and flavorful to taste. The volume of rub was just a bit overwhelming - at least to me.
