I came here for a birthday brunch~ I absolutely LOVED the peppermint mocha- the presentation, the flavor: delicious. I love that it came in a mug and was so pretty. Drinks and food came not too long after ordering. I ate the green ridge mac and cheese. It was so rich with flavor and heavy filling meal. Henry's on Clay is popular, so lunch time will be packed. The seating area is fairly small because the chairs and tables are placed together. There is free street parking, but there's no designated lot.

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast. Cute little restaurant with lots of coffee refreshments. The waiter was attentive and offered food service. I ordered an omelet with bacon, sausage, onion, and cheddar cheese. The sausage did not taste like typical pork sausage. The omelet was big and served with a choice of bread. I added some hot sauce to my omelet for more flavor!

Anytime I come to Scranton, I stop here for breakfast/lunch. From their causally chic decor to their uniquely designed menu, I know that I will have a great experience. If you are someone that likes classic dishes with a unique twist in components and flavors, this is your place. I was a little nervous to try some of their dishes the first time but boy oh boy, their dishes do not disappoint! Service is always friendly and we've come at a good time so we never had to wait for a table but the place gets crowded. Street/residential parking so that can be tough at times.

I always have a great experience here! The food is delicious and they do specials. The bakery items are fantastic and you should definitely take some with you. Portions are big and flavorful and the staff is super friendly. I always come here at least once during every work trip.

First of all, I would like to compliment the atmosphere and the building itself, classically constructed and the interior design was simplistic yet beautiful! The food tasted absolutely amazing and stunningly prepared! Service was a very nice and personable experience!

Sadly we have to downgrade our rating. We were very excited to come back to our 5 * rated establishment with our best friends. The food is quite exceptional and it did not disappoint again. We ordered the hummus platter, french toast churros, the Lizzie (avocado toast with a fried egg), waffles with a side of bacon, the Bill & Kay (turkey pastrami, pork roll, swiss cheese and sauerkraut on rye) and the Dean Cali combo (breakfast sandwich with choice of meat). All of our dishes were fantastic! Food quality is super high and healthy while also being a generous portion. Where it all went wrong was the service. Granted, it was a Saturday at 10 am and the place was packed. All of the servers were hustling. Our food came out very slow. No one came to check on us or offer a second cup of coffee or water. Despite this, we would recommend coming because the food is just that good!

Having grown up in the area and since moved away I was always sad that the Scranton area had such trouble keeping good businesses open and attracting new ones. We were back in NEPA to visit some family and friends in January and we were really pleased to come here as it was a new restaurant for us (it opened several years ago, but we don't get to come back often). We came for breakfast and it was a really great meal! Our server was attentive and took good care of us throughout the meal and the coffee was pretty tasty. I got a breakfast sandwich that was very flavorful and my side of home fries was great; the glaze they had on them was savory and added a different flavor profile to the meal. My wife had a Dutch baby and it was very, very good and not something that's easy to find on menus, so that was great. We were very impressed by Henry's on Clay and would definitely come back!

Unique that's is what this restaurant is. Very unique menu. Delicious food. Nice cheery & bright atmosphere with very friendly staff. Coffee is very good, many different types to choose from. My turkey pastrami dusted pork roll Swiss cheese bacon sauerkraut 1000 island rye was awesome!

I keep trying to give this place a chance. Came for brunch on a Thursday. Only two other people that were already eating. Another couple walked in 20 minutes after my daughter and I. Two couples that walked in after us got their food in less than 15 minutes because they were friends with the waiter. It took an hour and 10 minutes to get my food and I ended up ordering it to go and took them another 15 minutes to pack it. Still not a lot of costumers in the store and he was waltzing around the place. Food was not great for the price that they charged for bread and avocado toast and French toasts ( 1hr to prepare). Do yourself a favor and don't come here. Go elsewhere that the food and service is better. Scranton/Dunmore area has a lot of great places for coffee/brunch. Then didn't leave a tip and waiter told me I was rude.. followed me to the car just to tell me that.

Gem of a place. Huge line out the door, which is usually a good sign. Crowded during a pandemic which wasn't super inspiring since nobody was masked up, but the food was worthwhile. Awesome prices, excellent coffee (they use La Colombe beans), prompt service, generous portions. If I'm every through Scranton again this is a place to stop. read more

I was so excited to try this place everything always looks good on ig. I ordered the home fries, chicken pot pie, and the french onion soup. Now the home fries ARE TO DIE FOR! Me and my kids devoured them . The chicken pot pie was good. The croissant topping was very good. The filling was ok but sweet. I still liked it. The reason for my low stars is the french onion soup. It is my all-time favorite soup. The everything bagel croutons sounded delicious. I was excited by the gruyere cheese yum. Well i couldn't taste any of that all i could taste was SUGAR, SUGAR AND MORE SUGAR. 6.50 for sugar. I dont know if balsamic is in there but it tasted like it. Ughhhh. I will be returning to taste other things but not the soup. read more

i've ordered from here a few times. i'd say it's generally just okay. i always do take-out so maybe that's the issue? but i don't want to eat there. however, i think their soups are really tasty and i also enjoy the chocolate chip cookies. i don't know that i'll be coming back though after my recent order. i ordered a salad and something was off about the dressing. usually it's a creamy citrusy dressing that i could drink with a straw. today, it seemed like straight sour cream with no flavor. quite a few pieces of lettuce were brown and to top it off, i found a hair in my salad! yum! i also added salmon and the portion was small and overcooked in my opinion. i think that's all for me folks! read more

AMAZING! I cannot day enough about how great this place is. Portions are huge, food is fresh and unique, only complaint is the menu has too many options. I've gone twice now, first time I got the Caesar salad and it was HUGE and delicious. Second time I got the tomato soup and it changed my life. FOOD IS AMAZING!!! I love checking out new places and food spots that people recommend. Found Henry's on Clay via Yelp and could not resist visiting this place. The atmosphere is cozy and cute and are welcomed immediately by staff. My family and I had the opportunity to express our thoughts on the restaurant to the owner Ellen (who is literally the sweetest and kindest person ever!) From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed. You get this nice warm vibe from staff down to their customers who are dining. This was our second time there and it was also our last. The first time, our side of bacon came with the check! And everyone's breakfast was cold. Decided to give it another chance because it really is a nice menu. Today, 15 minutes to get coffee and a menu and 55 minutes for eggs and sausage and the frittata trio. Over easy eggs were broken and over hard, once again everything was cold and the Henry's home fries were literally inedible because they were cold and hard as rocks. The staff is very friendly though so assuming these are management issues. read more

First let me start off by saying the place is adorable. There was a long wait to get seated as it was very busy. The staff is super nice and very attentive.I started my meal with a hot chai and the hummus platter. The Hummus was delicious and the addition of the roasted beets was especially good. I had the falafel burger with a side salad as my meal. The falafel was perfectly spaced and had beets but not as many as you would like - add more beets please. The side salad was dry and not dressed very well. I talked myself into a cupcake for dessert but it was very dry and disappointing. Overall it was a good experience and I will give it a second chance for sure. read more

Best new spot in NEPA! Feels like someone picked up a local hotspot in Nashville or the Wast Village and dropped it in Dunmore. Excellent menu, fast service, great design sensibility, and arguably the best espresso in the area. Went three times in a week and will be back many more! read more

I love Henry's on Clay. The first time I went there it was soooooo good. The food is consistent and I love that. The chicken pot pie soup is a meal In itself. Delicious. Very cute and trendy place. Big portions of food and the new bakery opened next door. Great bakery. The only negative thing I can say about the place is that the menu doesn't change. I have been there about 10xs because I love it but after awhile you have tried it all. They need to change up the menu once in awhile. Otherwise the food is fantastic. read more

Lunch was delightful. Interesting selections and combinations that made for a delicious meal. Chicken pot pie soup is so close the pie. Chicken salad sandwich was yummy with bacon, Granny Smith apple slices & side salad. Seating is limited so go early or off times to ensure a seat. They also make a Flat White!!! read more

Wow. Can't say enough about this place. The food is Amazing! I love trying new places and my husband likes ordering the same thing every time at the same old places. We were there for breakfast. Coffee was ground on the spot and was wonderful! I got the Ellen and my husband got a build your own sand which. Everything was wonderful! Ellen came with a side salad which was thankfully not swimming in dressing. Husband loves that his sand which was not greasy. we got the sweet potato hummus which was perfect and had roasted carrots on the side. honestly they could probably charge more for their food. we met one of the owners who was super friendly. the place is simple and clean. we are definitely going back! read more

First time visiting this bright fresh new(ish) place today. Well lit with big windows, friendly staff and the food was as good as it looks. Prices were reasonable. We didn't wait at all to be seated, which from driving by is not normal - but it was a weekday, and the food didn't take more than it should to get out. Well definitely go back. read more

It was worth the fifteen minute wait at lunchtime. The vegetable wonton soup, DRG burger and BLT Panzenella were amazing! The coffee was wonderful too. Service fast and friendly. You will not be disappointed. We came back and this time the food was just as amazing as the first time! Our waiter, Jason, from the first time actually remembered us and asked me if if I was still on keto. Even though he wasn't our waiter this time, he helped us with our food selection. We felt so welcomed! My new fav restaurant!!! read more

The dish comes with shrimp, scallops, and lump crab meat. The best thing on the plate was the THREE scallops they provided. The crab was genuinely the worst, driest crab I've ever had. Worse than low-quality frozen snow crab at Red Lobster or the grocery store. The shrimp was overcooked and pathetically seasoned with a light sprinkle of paprika (which fell mostly on one shrimp and none of the others). I had to salt my own food at the table because everything was flavorless. All in all, if you're in Scranton because you like The Office, stop here and have some CHEAP starters and drinks, grab some cool Dunder Mifflin merchandise at the gift shop, and enjoy all the awesome art they have at Coopers. Pay no mind to their expensive seafood, it sucks. Service: the waitstaff are lovely, friendly and attentive. They're great and deserve praise!
