    Spinach pie Greek salad.

Lovely. Portions were generous, food was delicious, servers so nice. Prices still reasonable. My spinach pie came with Greek salad. The bf had a gyro melt, came with perfectly crispy fries and a cup of soup. Can't wait to go back

THE BEST KEPT SECRET in Scranton. Great little diner that serves Greek food as well as traditional American food. (Hamburgs are large and delicious) Great salads and exceptional deserts. You must try the HOMEMADE rice pudding...you will think you are in grandma's kitchen! Things to love about this diner....the owner runs it meticulously. (For those who remember the Castle Restaurant run by Peter Kaldes... this little diner is run the same way, only on a smaller scale. Always clean, fast friendly service, caters to your needs, great homey atmosphere, efficient wait staff, great cooks. I guess the GREEKS are just darn good at running restaurants!) So if you just want a gyro or an authentic Greek dinner, homemade soups, Greek pastries or American fare, stop in and take a seat...the owner will great you with warm welcome! You won't be disappointed!

Nice little diner. This is right down the road from my work, Electric City Axe Throwing, so it's a good place for me to grab breakfast at. I had the Gyro omelette which was a first for me and it was really good. I like the Greek and American combination for a diner. It's a cool combo.

Fantastic Greek food, dinner food, breakfasts and other food. Deliciously prepared and served by the nicest wait staff!

Good hearty food, not that salty, made fresh in-house. Homey atmosphere. Has its own parking lot. Lots of servers who pay attention to you.

Great Scranton diner (the locals are 'known' here so you know the food had to be good)! It was hot and the coffee was great too!

Yes, it was that good. So, you can all call this a revisit. Now the 1st 3 minutes in the beginning I was at my polling place beforehand. OK so this evening I pulled into the parking lot across from the Exeter Turkey Hill where I saw he was open. If you never had food from this location, check him out, you can tell he is a very nice guy who has a passion for what he does, in our conversation I just had to ask him if he would ever sell hot dogs, he did not come out and say no but made a comment about putting his spin on a Greek style dog so I would like you all to ask him about it too and maybe it will become a reality. So today I ordered the classic Gyro and Fries, now as you all can see in the video, this Gyro was packed with the most tender lamb you could ever try, the lettuce and tomatoes completed this combination along with extra sauce, I can't spell it, so I'll just call it the Gyro sauce. The sauce has a unique taste that knocks you taste buds right out of the park. He also heats up on his flat top the bread, again the correct name is avoiding me right now. This alone could be a great hunger killer, but no, I went one step further by adding his fresh cut fries, yes, he cuts every order fresh, he also tops when they are down his seasonings which I forgot to ask what they were. Now everything came to $15.00, I feel for what you got and what you all see was worth every bite. Until next time, be blessed and stay safe. We were quickly seated, and the place was pretty full. It looked like a private event (bridal shower?) was happening outside. We both ordered the same things. The soup and salad option with the French onion upgrade and Caesar salad. The French onion was one of the best I have ever had. The broth was rich, the onions were plentiful, the cheese perfectly toasted, and the crouton the perfect foil. It was so good we ate it slowly and even drank the broth (I know that's uncouth, but it was so good and nobody knew us there) from the bowls. We even scraped off every single bit of the toasty cheese on the sides of the bowl. I would go there just for the soup. The salad was also good. A small portion since it was a combo option, but the dressing was excellent, there were large shreds of asiago cheese, and actual anchovies. The only complaint was that it wasn't a bigger salad. Again, left nothing on the plate. The soup and salad dish was $15 because of the upgrade for the French onion soup. The service was fantastic. The place has a rustic but elegant feel. Lots of wood. I bet this place is beautiful decorated for Christmas. Great experience and a perfect place to eat on the first day of a road trip.
