Kelly and I went to stop and get breakfast this morning just after meeting a client on a business matter. So we stopped at Boulevard Diner in Scranton. We ordered breakfast. The meal and service was great. Boulevard Diner serves Greek food. I think its awesome. read more

One of my favorite spots in Scranton, I eat here 2-3 times a week there really hasn't been anything I didn't like from there menu. Meal portions are generous, daily specials are fresh, always something different on the menu. read more

Read the review on this place so I thought I would try it. When you first enter you you are greeted by a friendly staff it seems to be family run business. The menu was a little different than most other diners meaning that it has some Greek foods on it also this is one of the reason I chose this diner so and any way I started with the lobster bisque soup and a gyro. Well the soup was alright not the kind of lobster bisque I'm use to eating at first look I thought it had lots of lobster in it but I think it was more like imitation crab meat and also some kind of flour dumpling so it wasn't horrible but would not order it again. Now for the gyro I enjoyed it very much it was made with fresh ingredients and the lamb was delicious this I would again over all I enjoy this place good food friendly staff and fresh food I will be back again read more

Great little diner that also serves authentic Greek food. Breakfast food is good (love their fluffy pancakes) but I go here when Im in the mood for Greek as their aren't many options for Greek food around. Gyro, chicken gryo, greek salad, spinach pie, - all are delicious! They also have greek desserts including galaktoboureko which is equally delicious. Super friendly staff, fast service, nice owner who came over to see how our dinner was. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for quick diner food in a much cleaner, more pleasant dinning experience than some of the other diners in town. read more

The service is very good here, the food is fresh and tastes good. I especially liked the chicken gyro. However the spanakopita was a bit flavorless and flat like a pancake. A nice neighborhood place to stop for a quick bite but not a place to out of your way for. read more

Rude staff! OVERPRICED diner food! I was yelled at by the cashier for looking at my bill to see why it was so high ($18 for two breakfast sandwiches). She attempted to rip the bill out of my hands. Pretty sure it's my right to see what I'm paying for. I kindly told her that I was just surprised at the price because I went off the menu online, so the prices online must be incorrect. We go to this diner every Sunday after church. Even when their very busy the staff is always accommodating, with a smile. The owner is a great guy and goes around to the tables to chat, he also clears tables when there busy, that's a good owner. Oh by the way the food is great too. read more

Only a few things can be said about this place bad I was there just to have a nice lunch and I got crap the servers were nice but it took 45 mins for me to get my burger and when I did get it it was cold and worst yet it was bland the burger the frys bland the best thing I got from this place was the coupon for a free 4 pice chicken tenders from burger king off the ketchup bottle yo know what i could get a better lunch at bk and it would be cheeper don't go to this place it's just bad read more

Based on strong reviews, we went to the diner on our trip to Scranton. My wife's greek omelette had multiple egg shells in it. My spinach pie (lauded on Yelp and by the waitress) was clearly made from frozen spinach. The accompanying Greek salad was passable but barely made up for the spinach pie. Even the Diet Coke was flat. A genuinely poor experience and one that I hope others won't also make. read more

This is hands down the best little diner in Scranton! As other reviewers have noted, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but take it from an original Jersey girl, this diner is the best. Their breakfasts are perfection (make sure to try an omelet!) and the staff are always super friendly. If you go in there often enough, they learn your order and really make an effort to get to know you (as all good waitstaff should!) Their lunches and dinners are a little on the pricey side for a diner, but worth every penny. Especially if you're ordering off of their Greek menu. The owner, Tony, definitely knows what he's doing. Our two families stopped here for dinner on a long road trip. It was such a wonderful break from road food for all of us (4 kids aged 9-12 and 4 adults). Offerings featured authentic Greek cuisine as well as breakfast served all day. The food was fresh and delicious, portion sizes were generous, and the staff was friendly and accommodating! Everyone left happy and we all agreed that if we ever return to Scranton again, we will make a point of going to the Boulevard Diner. read more

It's never a disappointment. The service is good and the food is tasty. I'm a fan...breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We go to this restaurant at least 3 to 4 times a week. We usually have breakfast & sometimes lunch. When we have breakfast I take home spinach pie meal. However today when I opened the box I was expecting a meal which I paid for. To my frustration, it was not a meal just a pie with hardly no spinach at all just crust. I called the restaurant & I was told to come & pick up the salad. I went to the restaurant to get my money back & to return the pie. Instead of asking for an apology, the cook told me not to ever come back to the place. read more

My co-worker and I are always looking for new diners to try in Scranton for lunch. We go to Linda K's frequently and decided to give the Boulevard Diner a try. We walk in and the 2 waitresses look at us but don't say anything. Waitress comes over to take our order and I ask for the " Oriental Chicken Salad". She says " oh, I don't even think we make that anymore!" She runs into the back of the kitchen, returns, and tells me they don't have those ingredients anymore. Ummmmm... ooookkkkk?! So I ask her for a basic Grilled Chicken Salad. She tries to sell me on some Greek Salad but I politely asked if I could just have a basic Grilled Chicken Salad. I told her my only request was " please no tomatoes or cheese". I told her I didn't care what else they put on it. My co-worker ordered a bowl of soup and a hamburger. His bowl of soup comes out. After one spoonful, he tells me it's literally hot water with boiled rice. There's no flavor to it at all. At this point I begin to notice about a half dozen fruit flies floating all over near our heads. It's January and I haven't seen a sign of a fly in two months. She comes to the table with our lunches, puts them down, and immediately darts off. I look at my salad and it's COVERED in tomatoes and feta cheese on top of a MOUND of iceberg lettuce and a few onions. There was so much feta that there was no way around it. I took the chicken off the top and scraped the feta off of it and ate the dry chicken. We never saw our waitress again until we were done eating 20 minutes later. Her remark? " You didn't like the salad?" I said, " It's covered in cheese. I couldn't get around it." She goes " ohhhhh. I'm sorry. We cook the chicken fresh though." Ummmmmmmm...ok?!?! We were given the check at full price, paid it, and walked out scratching our heads.... read more
