If you like pancakes this is your place!
Brian P.

Eat where the locals eat and you can never go wrong. Super nice people and a place like "Cheers" where if you are a local everyone knows your name... probably what you like to drink and eat as well. For us out of town'ers this was a great breakfast stop. As soon as one of our guests ordered two pancakes they gave a warning on just how big they were. Throwing caution to the wind they ordered two anyway. As soon as they arrived everyone near us looked on as if a food challenge had just started. Some joked that a shirt should be given if they were finished. Indeed they became lunch and dinner too. No frills and definitely inflation busting prices but we liked the homemade feel and real sausage served with our breakfast. On the weekend it was certainly busy but that's expected.

The food was absolutely amazing. The place had a hometown feel with regulars all around. The waitstaff was helpful and happy. Cash only, with an ATM inside. Would absolutely stop again or make a special stop to eat here! That Cinnabon pancake was incredible!!!

Never a bad meal or price! Great off the beaten path breakfast spot. This little greasy spoon delivers great huge pancakes, french toast, omelettes, egg sandwiches, and other breakfast delights. Brunch items, burgers etc. great service. Worth the wait if there is a line.

Definitely wasn't getting this kind of a meal at the Holiday Inn up the road. The short stack is for shortness of breath with how filling it is. You have been warned. Awesome place and would highly recommend coming!

Food was great! The chef/cook was awesome. Service was great. Dear diner in Scranton. Loved that you can see the chef/cook using the grill. Very small but that's the only thing bad that I noticed.

Simply put Sharon's is great for breakfast as the omelettes, eggs and bacon are perfectly done. The staff is very nice and attentive. The location is also awesome and has nice views outside big windows looking on to Washington Ave. I need to come back for lunch!

Nice staff. Small place feel with lots of locals. Food was hot but a bit basic. It's a good place if you like the standard breakfast fair.

Never got my order. 44 mins & 3 coffee refills. If I could give it no stars I would. Do not come here. Shame.

Food was good, service great. Just be prepared to wait a bit especially if you have a large group. We had 10 adults and 3 toddlers!

Food is great but don't be hungry as you wait wait wait. The ambiance is of a luncheonette back in the day. Stools at the counter

Nice people, food was bland. Scranton does not have many elite great spoons any more, and I was hoping this one. Maybe a bad day

We came on a midday but fortunately waited in 5 minutes for a table for our group of 4. They don't accept reservation unless you are a group of 10 or more. if I remember it right. The place is of decent size. Turnover is fast so wait is not that bad. The eatery is aesthetically pretty, the chandeliers and its flowery ambiance set the mood. We enjoyed what we have ordered. I love my blooming tea to start. The cutest drink I had for a while. Love as well my eggs meal although it would tastes better if comes up with either half salad or half sandwich to complete the package. My friends appreciated how their Cuban and vegan sandwich were made. Serving size is just right for an individual . We saved room for dessert planned to take on next door creamery. My son had been asking for waffles all day, and although they'd moved onto the dinner menu, the chef handed us the brunch menu as well and let my son know that he could pick any waffle he wanted. The food came out, and everything was fresh and delicious! My son got his waffle and a piece of salmon. My husband and I shared a salad, and burger with Mac and cheese. We also had espresso martinis, and could not skip dessert after one of the better meals we'd had in a long time. Will gladly return here anytime we are back in the area.

Our suite was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and very cozy. Detailed instructions throughout ensured we didn't have any frustrations operating doors, locks, coffee makers or heaters! Breakfast in the large, beautifully appointed dining room was absolutely amazing and featured home-made beer bread, specialty omelets, exquisite baked goods, and a variety of coffees and teas. The owner, Allison, and her staff, Kristy, were attentive, informative, and genuinely nice people who engaged us in conversation. Our suite, tastefully decorated in eclectic furniture, had two bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses, a long, carpeted hallway and a vintage-tiled bathroom. Our stay was restful and stressless in the quiet, homey atmosphere of this bed and breakfast that combines features of a B&B from earlier eras with the modern conveniences of an Air BnB. We will stay here again for sure.
