I ordered a spicy fiesta chicken sandwich as part of a larger order today. I also ordered a southwest salad (my coworkers also ordered items). Because it got busy at work I never got to eat my sandwich until I got home. To my disappointment, the 12 dollar and change sandwich contained only the fiesta "spread" ( corn, and maybe cheese I think) and no chicken. When I opened the paper wrapper I thought I must have gotten the wrong order because it appeared to be only bread. My lemonade was replaced with a charged lemonade which has twice the amount of caffeine as a monster energy drink. We were not told the replacement was a highly caffeinated substitute. Before I paid, I asked them to take it off the order, and I did not take the drink but instead they gave me a bottle of water and still charged me for the full price of the "charged" lemonade. The manager was manipulative and took advantage of my mother's good will and patience. Also got four different answers about the lemonade being available or not. Nice location to eat when you're traveling. We usually stop by this location when we drive to Finger Lakes or Thousand Island. The food is standard for Panera Bread but it is always fresh and I've never had a bad patch with it here but the cappuccino seems to be broken more often then not. read more

3.5 Stars. Panera is not somewhere I really seek out to eat. It's usually a convenience thing as it was this night. We needed somewhere quick and easy in order to catch a movie. For a fast-er food option, it's decent. The kids meals are a great deal. A main dish with a yogurt tube and side such as an apple or kettle chips for under $5. For adults I usually spend around $12-$15 per person, usually a pick 2 and I add one of their ever changing delicious flavored unsweetened teas. I really only come for lunch and pretty much stick to the same thing, 1/2 salad and sammy. The veggie sammy is a go-to and when ordered without cheese is one of the only vegan options on the menu. It's pretty tasty and a 1/2 is filling. They offer a lot of vegetarian options and always have a veg soup option too. They could really step up their dairy free game, but I get that I'm the minority. Their creamy, thick mac and cheese is a fan favorite and their bread is also obviously a thing to taste. Their pastries always look delish and they always have beautiful, seasonally decorated sugar cookies to add for just .99. The kiddos love these. This location was big and clean. Service was fast. Located conveniently near the local movie theater for a quick option before or after a show. They also now offer an order and pick up option. read more

Average line; when we left cars were backed up to the road (double the amount) We waited 20 minutes to place our order, (girl was not very knowledgeable ) another 40 minutes to get to pay/pickup window and 10 more minutes for our food (not a large order only 3 half sandwich's and a cup of soup).. As a chain I love Panera! They have great sandwiches and it's the only place that I have ever really enjoyed eating soup. I usually go there just for the soup, specifically the Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice. I also really enjoy there bagels and have on occasion brought them into work to share with my coworkers. They have a good deal with the bagels (or have at times) whe you buy the larger quanitiies. They also have a great bakery. I really like there fresh breads and pastries!! But specifically about this branch, the staff there is very nice and even when there is a line out to the door (which it seems like there often is) they move through the line very quickly and are accurate with orders (which as someone who is picky about food and modifies things often this is very important) read more

The Panera in Dickson City, PA was dirty, unkempt and uncared for from the from door to the restrooms. We spoke to the manager who said "...we have recently undergone new management and we know that this place has issues." An understatement for sure. Will never order from here again. We have placed orders in the past with missing side items which isn't too big of a deal but DOOR DASH ruined everything. We placed an order only for it to say it was delivered when it was not. Called the store and said that it was never picked up and that they are going to request a new driver and they told me I will get a new notification through their app. 30 minutes later nothing. Called back and they said they are still waiting for a driver. Going in 2+ hours and no food, no update, decided to just go pick up my food that was sitting there the entire time. Horrible. This is an ongoing problem at this location. The issue is the drive thru. We place an order frequently and at least 50% of the time, the order is wrong. Even if it's a simple order. Today was the worst. I placed an order-a simple you pick two. Then waited 12 minutes (I'm not exaggerating) to get it. I pulled forward and checked it. Of course, they forgot my side. I went back around. There was one car in front of me at the drive thru. I waited exactly 10 minutes without moving. So I finally had to pull out and go in. I just left after breakfast this morning and I wanted to leave a review commending the employees of the Dickson City Panera after what I saw. As I was eating a woman went up to the counter with her food irate and complaining that she was given an over-easy egg instead of scrambled as she expected. They do serve both and perhaps she didn't realize when she ordered, and/or mistakes do happen, but the way she spoke to the employees was completely unacceptable and beyond rude. She was going on about how no where else in the world does anyone serve over-easy eggs (?!) and she was flabbergasted and offended that it even seemed to exist. The employees to their credit were being completely professional and apologizing and offered to make a scrambled egg sandwich for her, which didn't seem to fully satisfy her. She proceeded to sound even more insane, asking the employees if they were laughing at her and thought it was funny. Perhaps she would've been satisfied if the employees went back in time and stopped the concept of an over-easy egg from being created in the first place. For her sake I hope she never googles the words "eggs Benedict" because her head might explode. She also complained how the runny egg almost dripped on her and ruined her clothes, as if that's the employees/Panera's fault. If a person can't eat over the plate like a normal human being, perhaps they deserve to have their shirt ruined. So just wanted to say the employees deserve to be commended for their professionalism in the face of bad customers to think the world owes them something.
