Took in my 2019 iMac for a free diagnosis. I'm a techie and had an idea what was wrong, but they checked other possibilities, backed up the account on the machine to avoid accidental loss, and spent literally hours pursuing the problem, which turned out to be a hardware failure. 2) They gave me a quote for the repair, but it was too high for my budget. In fact this was going to be a spare Mac, since I just got the new Mac Studio, so I don't really need it and wasn't ready to spend that much. I could understand why the price was high: iMacs from that year aren't made to be repaired. I dislike Apple's closed architecture (literally closed in this case), but that's the way they are. 3) I declined the repair and took the iMac home. No charge, no hard feelings. The people there couldn't have been nicer.

My most recent call into him was to fix a broken water heater/boiler combo that had finally gone bad. I called Jeff and left a message and within 15mins he called me back and with in 45mins he was at my door, hour 1/2 hours later he was back with a new water heater and ready to stay as long as he needed to install it if I needed him too. I really cant say enough nice things about him and his team, especially since I don't live here permanently and have had issues in the past finding good home repair companies here in Santa Fe.

Then, while eating lunch, I saw an ad for 4Leet. I called them, told them my problem and they said come right in and said they would first: see if my PC could be fixed and, if not, second: load my laptop. Well, that afternoon they saw I needed a new hard drive on my PC, put one in and loaded my backup onto the newly installed hard drive. I returned my new laptop.
