They fixed my computer remotely, which was nice as I didn't have to be home and deal with someone coming into my house. There were some communication problems at the beginning. I had to get a password so they could connect remotely. Since my computer was jacked up, I told them I'd call them back as it was taking forever. So, I called when I finally got the password and selected the option to receive a call back. I didn't get a call back. So I "chatted" on their website and they got started. Then nothing. So I called that night and left a voicemail to see what was going on, got no call back. The next morning I called and waited for an agent. Once I got to that point, everything went much better. It took over 14 hours of them working on it the second day for it to be done, but they did a ton of scans and my computer was really really slow. Bottom line, communication and speed could have been better, but they fixed it without having to have someone come to my house, which was a real plus as I hate having to put my whole day on hold so a stranger can be in my house. My tech was Michael I. He ways extremely helpful, polite, efficient and informative. Fixed my computer like new and even recommend more efficient (not more expensive) virus software! I would actually request him by name should I ever need further help! As for Home Tech, the company, they, too, get top rating. I had to wait 3 days or an appointment but they did in fact come on President's Day! They also reminded me several times of my appointment by phone, email and text. When Michael was delayed by road blockage due to our severe weather, they called ahead and told me he could be here in the next hour or that I could reschedule if I wished. He showed up fairly soon thereafter. All in all, job well done, stellar service! I recently dealt with several BIG name companies who would do well to model themselves after HelloTech! Oh, yeah, and when you call, there are no annoying menus, options to chose from, buttons to push, canned music or elaborate waiting times--you actually get to talk to a friendly, live, breathing person!!! Jesse's customer service is beyond excellent! He listened intently to what I want and he did not impose his technical expertise when I want the outdoor cameras placed in a not very ideal spot. Instead, he showed me what the coverage of the area would be, making me realize his opinion is better. Jesse is courteous and kind. When I run into an issue with one of the sensors falling and the doorbell's 2-way audio not working, he immediately offered to look at them the next day! Jesse definitely went above and beyond! During the initial install, he even went to Home Depot to buy staples appropriate for the stucco wall. First time user of Hello Tech but I am impressed! I would not hesitate to use them again; price was reasonable. Ben showed up right on time and was very professional throughout the process. He installed the mount with no problem and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Easy going and accommodating when it came time to figure out how high to install the mount (there were a couple of outlets in the way). Checked in with me when a question or issue came up. Amazing service, Prompt, on time, courteous, resourceful and knowledgeable. The tech brad really went out of his way to make sure everything worked and did repairs so that things functioned properly. I had my ring pro doorbell installed on a non functioning doorbell. Brad located the breakers, found and replaced faulty wiring. removed the old doorbell and chime unit and even offered to go to the store to buy wood filler to fill in the site of the previous doorbell.
