Chicken fried rice: really crispy chicken katsu. Rice is very moist as well. I enjoyed it Chive dumpling: Same with other chive dumplings with other restaurants nearby. Probably have the same provider? Not traditional Asian chive dumpling. More glutinous dough instead of crispy texture. Flavor's good though Beef curry: chose spicy level 1. Really strong coconut flavor. Lots of meat. Marinated very tender Price is reasonable. Would come back again Crab ragoon: smaller than normal crab ragoon but flavor's good. The small soze make it easy to eat in one bite. Very crispy and a tiny of sweetness

Drunken Noodles with a bizarro-world leathery fried egg on top instead of stir-fried scrambled eggs.

I ordered drunken noodles with stir-fried scrambled egg. They were backed up for half an hour. What finally got delivered, picture here, was drunken noodles with a giant, overcooked fried egg on top. Which would be great, maybe?, If I had ordered a rice dish. Which I didn't. That tellls me no one who actually understands how Thai food works put my order together. We won't be ordering again.

Food came on time but had no silverware. Pad thai chicken was dry and didn't have much flavor to it. Didn't have much chicken, maybe five pieces max. Disappointed because the photos made it look super saucy and flavorful!

Thai Fried Rice with Crispy Pork Belly

I ordered for pickup, and it was ready fairly quickly. It's a small shop with a few tables for dine-in, staff was friendly. The fried pork belly over fried rice is SO delicious. The rice has great flavor, and the pork is juicy and seasoned. The pad see ew without bean sprouts was made correctly and good but could've had just a little bit more flavor. This place will become part of my rotation, it's very good Thai food and I can't wait to try more!

    Beef Pad See Ew

I ordered the papaya salad, shrimp tom yum soup, and the beef pad see ew. Since I ordered over $18, I got a free order of crab rangoon. The online ordering system was easy to use and my food was ready fast. The crab rangoon was crispy and had a lot of cream cheese, but no surimi at all, which was kind of expected since this came free with my order. The papaya salad was delicious, fresh, and had a kick to it. The crab rangoon and the salad paired well together. The shrimp tom yum soup came with 3 shrimp, which I thought was great with the straw mushrooms! The flavor of the soup was on point. Lastly, the beef pad see ew was tasty but I wish they had more greens/broccoli, or any veg in there. I asked for hot sauce on the side and they gave me plenty. I noticed that they have a few tables in there so you can dine-in, if you choose.

Instantly one of my new favorite restaurants in Chicago. And probably one of my favorite Thai…read morerestaurants of all time. As a street food spot that's popular for lunch, you get different offerings here than a lot of your other neighborhood Thai joints. Sat on the outdoor patio so didn't get to see the inside much but I liked our atmosphere and service. Split the papaya salad and the Laab Moo Krob (crispy pork belly salad) with a friend and both were outstanding. From the first crispy bite of the pork belly I was in love with the texture and flavors. We added a side of sticky rice with that which was perfect. I wish I could've tried everything on the menu that day but looks like I'll just have to return as soon as possible.

I advise straying away from the noodle classics like Pad Thai or Pad See Ew and opt for a soup, chicken, or rice plates! Pretty small inside so you may have a bit of a wait but overall really quick service. I found a hotel deal in the area and Thai Spoon caught my attention with their window menu and…read morereasonable price range and their cute decor. I came back the next day for a late lunch . I think I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time. The server was really nice and kept my water filled when I was thirsty from walking around all day. I was happy to see khao soi on the menu. I had been mixing it up with khao poun which is a different dish and doesn't have fried noodles. I like both. I was hungry and tucked in to soft noodles, crispy noodles, pickled mustard greens, onions, and in this case tofu. The server noticed my enthusiasm and said it would make him happy. I hope so, this was a lovely meal and a standout among all the chains and custom-bowl places. Would definitely return.

It's a few dollars less than the normal menu but a pretty good deal. My daughter and I ordered the pad see ew lunch, a regular Kara age chicken appetizer, and a taro boba. They also gave us a miso soup and two veggie egg rolls, unsure if that's part of the lunch special or not or standard for all done in customers, but it was a great addition! The food was delicious and made SUPER fast. I'd say we only waited about 5-7 minutes for everything. There is a lot of seating inside and the decor is really cool. The staff is really nice too!
