It was yummy! The food was delicious and the ambiance was good. The service was good as well.

Came here with my son and he loved the food! Fast friendly service with a laid back atmosphere. Tons of food for the process you pay and well worth it. I got a bento with teriyaki chicken, vegetable, egg rolls, and mixed tempura. He got the AYCE and we were so surprised with the portions. When ordering a roll be ready to get a FULL roll!!! We're were use to getting 1/2 a roll since it was a AYCE but nope... not here... so the 1st round was tough lol other than that no complaints! Definitely come try this place out!

Super great lunch place! All the cuts of fish, except the tuna, were amazing! The service was quick and Kim was really attentive to us the whole time! Great place to go if you're looking for a fun and lively place to eat with friends!!

The food here was pretty decent. I was craving some late-night sushi, and this was one of the only locations open, so I decided to give it a spin. Quality-wise, there isn't anything to really complain about. The different types of rolls offered here deviated from the normal rolls you'd find at typical sushi joints. One thing to note is that they are really voluminous, and I think having the option for AYCE to only get half, as offered at many places, would be nice just so you have the ability to try a bunch of different ones. Our server was nice and diligent, but the food does take a long time to come out.

Wanted a quick lunch with a craving for fish and stopped by here for the first time. The decor is cute and lively, and the vibes would be great at nighttime. Was there for lunch so it was calm and quiet, and got a lunch Bento. Pretty well priced and came with a lot of food! Got the salmon teriyaki with nigiri and tempura, all my faves. Would recommend~

    Shrimp Tempura Roll

Dined here for the first time recently while in the area. I knew they offered all-you-can-eat, but we didn't have a huge appetite at the time, so we opted to order à la carte, and everything worked out great. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. With so many items on the menu, we narrowed it down to the Maki & Sashimi combo, a couple of carpaccios, and a shrimp tempura roll. The quality and presentation of the food was top notch. They also have a large drink menu if you're looking to enjoy sake, beer, soju, and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff was kind and attentive. I love the decor, lighting, and layout of the dining area with comfy booths, some with high walls for privacy, and the bar seating looked great, too. I'd come back again and try more items, and maybe the AYCE when my appetite is big enough. This place is worth checking out.

    Tough PA1. Albacore Carpaccio(5pcs)

The food was mediocre, the albacore carpaccio was very tough , when mentioning it to the waiter , she just dismissed it and charged us regardless . I don't normally asked for waiter to give but they never really came by and had to be flagged down. Overall not a good experience. The ambience is so so. I do not recommend coming here.

AYCE sushi was dangerously good. Like... "we're not leaving anytime soon" good. Rolls kept coming, fish was fresh, and we were fully committed to the all-you-can-eat lifestyle. But the real MVP was the service. One server running the whole place all night and she handled it like a boss. Always checking on us, drinks never empty, orders flying out like she had clones. The vibes were cozy too. cute lights everywhere, chill atmosphere, perfect for eating way more sushi than planned. Overall, a solid sushi spot in Fullerton. Would absolutely roll back

All you can eat premium sushi

Back again! All you can eat sushi! It doesn't get better than that! My husband does the all-you-can-eat premium sushi for $40. That's such a great deal!! You get 10 items each time and 3 rounds total. All in all, you could eat 30 items if you wanted. That's a ton of sushi! lol This time, I wanted to try something different. I got the salmon teriyaki last time, and this time I went for the vegetable udon. The vegetable udon was HUGE! They brought this giant bowl of soup that was scorching hot!!! Seriously, I had to wait a good 6 minutes before I could even eat it lol The fresh veggies were nice. Loved the udon noodles. It's a really big bowl of soup. Very filling! I ordered the avocado and cucumber rolls. Fresh and delicious! And tried the cheese corn. That was alright. The shrimp tempura is one of my favorites here. The shrimp are so fresh, and I love the crunchy tempura batter. Great! Service was very good. They are fast and friendly. Vert attentive.

All three menus, but only one side of each.

This was a wonderful respite in the crazy FIFA avalanche that was DTF today . My partner and I searched for a less deafening venue with decently priced food and (alcoholic) beverages and I think we found a good spot. Our waiter Milton was very attentive and friendly. Our food arrived timely and fresh, I highly recommend the sunset roll! I will say, the portions are generous, so be careful not to over order if you opt for the "all you can eat" sushi dinner / lunch.

    Ayce sushi round 1
    Henry C.

The restaurant is brightly lit inside and the decor and music makes it feel very lively. Service is fast and I appreciate that the waitress checks in on us frequently. I took off a star because I still prefer the neighboring ayce sushi locations. One complaint is that the sushi proportions are slightly off. The sushi has a double layer of rice in some areas. Overall pretty great experience but other ayce restaurants like Kairi or Aikan have more variety while also maintaining a very high quality.

    Ashley D.

AYCE sushi sometimes can be a hit or a miss but ultimately this place was good. It was a bit on the pricier side of about 40 bucks per person and adding a drink on top of that made it a bit more pricey. Service was quick and nice but tuna quality felt a little rubbery and sometimes i feel wary with a bright red for a spicy tuna. Ultimately a good place with a lot of seating and good service.

    Mixed Tempura Plate(Dinner) PA9. Yakitori(2pcs)
    Hellen N.

We came to fill the sushi craving for dinner and were slightly disappointed. The restaurant is spacious and lively; the service was quick and efficient. However, the food could be better. The best part of dinner was sadly the mixed tempura. Second was the sashimi since they were fresh. One of my favorite part of sushi is the unagi, so I was sad to get some pretty dry unagi here, making them hard to get through. I not a big fan of rolls because of how much rice they pack, and there were extra bad because bottom part comes with overlapping rice. I was excited to try the chicken yakitori, and I was the thoroughly surprised that it was fried soy sesame chicken on a stick. I was also disappointed to find out that I don't get a ramen option. Overall, this is an alright place that open until late. I probably won't be back as there are other options that I prefer over this.

Ask the Community - Hello Sushi

How much is the AYCE dinner?

Hi, dinner price is $39.98 per person after 3PM everyday. See you soon.

Does everyone in the same party have to do AYCE? Or can individuals order a la carte even if someone in the party does AYCE?

So its very flexiable a person can get a la carte and the rest AYCE or vise versa. Enjoy !!! :)

As of January 10, 2025 - do they still have the AYCE Lunch deal for 20$?

Unfortunately, no -- last time I went the $20 deal was gone. But they still have the "regular" AYCE lunch and dinner available.

Did you move from the location in k town western ave?

I'm not sure, but you may be thinking of Hello Fish in Ktown. I'm pretty sure that this is a different owner.

    Is there Happy Hour pricing?

They don't have Happy Hour. They don't have a bar. They do ALL you can eat.

    How much is ayce?

    Hello~ Ayce lunch : $31.98(12~3pm) Ayce dinner : $37.98(after 3pm)…

Is sashimi included in the ayce?

Basically no, but we have carpaccio(sashimi with special sauce, tuna, salmon, albacore, yellowtail) menu(only 2pcs for each items /1 order per person). Thank you.

    Do you take reservations?

Hi, Dayna. Yes we take a reservation but we take only a party of 7 or more. If you have more questions, please call us. 714-738-6946 Thank you.

Is there up keeping of outdoor seating and is it still available?

    Is there ayce sashimi?

    Yes

Does this location require vaccination or neg test?

No. But they did ask that you where a mask while you're waiting to eat.

How much is the all you eat?

I think it was around $35

Is this place offering AYCE still?

    Yes, we do.

Are you still offering AYCE and if so, what is he current price?

Yes we do. 26.99 for lunch(12~3), 30.99 for dinner(5~close). Thank you.

Hello do anyone know if they still have all you can eat happy sat&sun for $19.99?

Nope. In fact on Weekends they charge dinner prices. Haven't been back to Hello Sushi since we found the great place in San Diego. Also some of their employees don't wear face masks as you can see my previous Yelp review regarding this!!

Is there a minimum amount of people needed for AYCE sushi?

You can come in to dine alone or with others.

Do you have to make a reservation? Is it all you can eat sushi anytime or on certain days only?

Hi, this is HELLO SUSHI in Fullerton. 1. You don't need to make a reservation, basically first come…

How much is lunch on weekends and is it AYCE? What about Monday, Memorial Day?

Hi, Mike. AYCE lunch price is $26.99 , even for the holiday. Memorial day also same. Thank you.

Do you have happy hour here? If so, what time and which days?

Yes, we have happy hour all you can eat on Mon~Thur, 12~3 PM. The price is $21.99.

Fifteen courses that are surprises because even tho there's a "template" of types of dishes, each one is ultimately the chef's choice. As each course was brought out, our waiter did an excellent job of describing what each item was and it's place of origin. Fifteen courses is alot to try to remember each specific dish so I decided to stay in the moment (after I snapped a pic) and enjoyed each one as we had them and talked about the flavor profiles and what we liked best about it. When my son had made the reservation he must have told them we were celebrating my birthday because in addition to the regular dessert course, our server brought me a birthday dessert which included green tea ice cream and a slice of matcha cheesecake. The full omakase experience was delicious and so fun! I told my son that it was like an advent calendar ~ each course we "opened" had us saying "ooo, how yummy" and left us with almost giddy anticipation of what we'd discover next. If you're looking for something fun and unique for a special occasion, I highly recommend the full omakase experience at Akashiro!

So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!

DECENT FOOD, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT…read more I've been here twice, and I can honestly say I think the food is decent, but the manager needs additional training or something. Let me tell y'all what happened, and why I will not go back, ever. Service: 0/5 I ordered food to-go for my staff members birthday; I waited about 40 mins. Like others have said, they're very short staffed here, and maybe that's problem #1. After some time went by, I think they realized I was sitting for a very long time for a small to-go order, so they rushed & possibly didn't secure my bag of food. I ordered a spicy YAKIUDON noodle meal, spicy edamame, and a fried "San Diego". When the young man gave it to me, I asked him if it was secure because it feels heavy and I'm taking it to my staff member and wanted it to be ready for him to eat. He said everything was there, it was packaged well, and sorry for the wait. WELL- LONG STORY SHORT IT WASN'T. lol. I immediately called after I got to my staff members job (15 mins away) and nothing was secure. It leaked so badly EVERYWHERE! My car, my clothes, the food was soggy- it was a literal disaster. After calling- the man apologized profusely and said he will replace EVERYTHING and to come back any time. My staff member and I were out of lunch and it was honestly embarrassing because it was their birthday. I wasted time, spent 2x the money, and I had an extremely dirty car. I took pics, threw the food away, and went back a few days later. When I got there- the cook/ possibly owner was MAD as heck when the guy told him I was there to recollect my order. After shouting and shaking his head- I saw him cooking. When my bag came- it was awfully light and a very tiny box. I asked the server if that was everything and he was so embarrassed and kept saying he was sorry that the owners said "no." They will not replace it after all. They gave me a literal small side of noodles and that's it. The meal I originally bought came with rice, a salad, a dumpling etc. I also didn't get the edamame, or the fried San Diego! All around- I felt bad for the young man who was so embarrassed and ultimately put in the middle. He said it was wrong what they're doing but ultimately this place was going back on what they should do to make it right. I didn't make a scene or argue, I opted to never come back. I think things like this show the character of an establishment and it is what it is.

We got the teriyaki chicken bento, shrimp tempura udon, California roll, and tuna roll. The udon had a relatively sweet broth. I expected a kitsune broth (umami-rich with dashi) as the restaurant specializes in sushi. Regardless, it was decent; the accompanying shrimp tempura were good. Interestingly, this restaurant is also mentioned in the Michelin Guide. I believe this is due to the quality of the rolls. The tuna tasted amazingly refreshing. I liked the California rolls too. For the quality served, they were decently priced. I'm sure more premium items would taste delicious. Walking inside is like entering a small traditional izakaya densely packed with Japanese decor. The restaurant is usually busy with only one or a couple servers accommodating everyone. Sitting at the sushi bar is convenient as the chefs can serve orders themselves. I wouldn't go here if I was in a rush due to the restaurant's popularity. The parking situation is fine, but make sure to use the bigger lot sectioned off from the restaurants.
