So I went there for the first time with a very open mind and the desire to get a salad. Well I ended up getting a burger...the willpower I convey. I got a plain burger and when I say it was delicious I mean it. 8/10. I saw them making there chopped salads and they looked amazing. Went in with husband for salads. Tasha the server was great, helpful and friendly. However the manager on call was very rude. Tasha was making our salads while this woman constantly watch our bowls, we stated why are you watching our salad, she stated I watch everybody's salads. Really? You're making salads for others but watching us??We go there frequently and never had this happened. She was being very racist, she wanted to make sure we got the least ingredients while she herself made 2 extra large salads for white customers. She put lettuce on the top of the salad and the bottom of the bowl and also put in double scoops of veggies as well. She has waited on us before and she gave us the bare minimum I asked her one time for more chickpeas and she was so hesitant. She needs to treat all customers equally and be less concerned about watching others when she should watch herself. I don't know her name but her mouth is hard to view due to dental. Great veggie burger! The side salad was a decent size, romaine and iceberg with tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese. Not too creative, but not bad. The only thing that was a pain was the slow service, especially during lunch, even though I ordered right away and it didn't seem busy. read more

First time here. Open inviting setup. Fresh Salads, Burger, and some sourdough sandwiches. I had the Dads Pot Roast Melt, and my companion had the Mushroom & Onion Jack Burger. We both chose to add fries for $2. Also drink options are plentiful, with Boylan's soda on the fountain along with a few other options. Order at the counter and then have a seat and then they bring you your food. Pricing was very good. Both orders were great. Burger was fresh and tasty. Sandwich had a nice balance of flavor. And the lettuce was pulverized and chopped down to lettuce they only serve in nursing homes for people without teeth. See the pictures: looks like they put my salad in a blender. I had the over easy burger and it was pretty good. I had a side salad and had a huge piece of wilted moldy looking piece of lettuce. My wife loved the fries. The larger salads looked good the price was ok, seeing you get nothing on the side, but other places have burger and fries specials that include fries for cheaper than what I paid for my burger. I would come back, but it is not one of those places that I would go out of my way to get to it. They do however have a good choice of unusual soft drinks which is a nice touch. read more

We really like this place. I always get the do-it-yourself salad, with no protein. I get just a small amount of lettuce or spinach, then load up on all the add-ons. Definitely fills the salad bowl, and the servers will add items unit you stop - even double helpings. I came here expecting it to be amazing but it was sub-par. The burger was good but I wish the bread was warmed, and they put shredded lettuce instead of a slice. Also, I was really excited for the fries, expecting them to be crispy, but they were kind of tasteless and wet. So the first time I went it wasn't bad, I got the new salmon salad and ate it there with a friend. The second time I ordered take out, my fiancé got the salmon salad and I built my own. First off, my avocado was 1/2 rotten , the top of it was completely black. The salads looked and tasted not fresh, like they had been sitting on a counter for a couple hours. Went there tonight with my husband for salads. The good: huge salads for under $10. The bad: For one, the girl chopping my salad at the end of the line lied that the shrimp I had paid for was in there (I never saw them put it in). Got home and discovered it definitely had been forgotten. Also bad: the salad had NO taste and the apple cider vinaigrette didn't taste much like anything either. Disappointing. read more

Visited Hello Bistro around noon on a Thursday and it was mostly the comings and goings of the lunch crowd. There was no waiting, you just walk right up and place your order. The menu is pretty straightforward with burgers, sandwiches and salads. They offer a pretty decent variety of signature salads and even a build your own salad option. The only disappointment to the menu is they don't offer a build your own burger option so your forced to add or take away from a signature burger option which is a little annoying. I got the over easy cheeseburger with fries, and the burger itself was really good. The actual burger patty was a little dry for my liking (I usually like my burgers med/rare) but the flavor was really good. The highlight for me was the hand cut shoe string fries which were amazing and the boylan vintage soda thats made with pure cane sugar which always makes drinks taste really good. This is a great new addition to Beachwood. The choices are amazing for your salads. I got the salmon added to mine and it was pretty tasty. I thought it may not be that great since it wasn't a seafood restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. The bubbly is nice refreshing sparkling water for people who don't drink soda. None of our salads came with the extra dressing we asked for, one salad had no dressing. We also ordered a sandwich without bacon on it and guess what, it had bacon on it! My boyfriend order a plain burger with no cheese, which we stated three times, and still recieved cheese on the burger. The bun also had mold on it.
