The waitress was the first thing we saw upon entering the restaurant. What a great greeter. Showed us to a booth, as well gave us menus, and returned with in seconds with ice water. Took our drink orders and was back in a flash. (Pretty quiet time of day). Anyway I had heard they had hand-dipped pronto pups, so that's what I ordered, with onion rings, the pup was great, maybe 3 onion rings, should have gotten fries! Val had a burger which came with all the trimmings, she said it was great, again maybe 3 onion rings. Felt a little bit ripped off with so few onion rings. Cheyenne (not sure of the spelling) is amazing. She is kind and attentive. Loved my hotdog and drink. Will be back in the future to try other menu items. I wanted to see the speak easy down stairs but it is only open Thursday-Saturday for now which I understand. It takes staffing and money to run on days that may not be profitable. However, people here today have asked about it so maybe a Sunday will be added in the future with limited hours. Until then I'll have to wait for vacation to roll around. Nice enough place... Almost like a bar you can bring your kids to? Not a lot of places to get a hot dog and they have a full menu of big Costco sized dogs for a not unreasonable amount of money. I ha the burger on Texas toast and it came with fries for $13, however some of the hot dogs were $12-13 which is good if they came with fries but they don't, they come with chips, fries are 4 more dollars and are grocery store variety crinkle cuts... Not sure why the burger is cheaper than a hot dog... The burger was pretty good. My family seemed to enjoy their hot dogs. We had a couple beers that were good but not cheap by any means. It's not overpriced but the place has kind of a bargain feel, I think I would have liked it more it was like a "wow that was cheap experience". If you're gonna charge $12-13 for a hot dog include fries or maybe a 2 dollar upcharge 4 bucks is too much for a hand full of crinkle cuts. Lottery cheapens the place a bit and makes it feel more like a bar than it should. It's not a bad place. read more

First time in. Cute inside. Nice patio during good weather. Wife tried the mushroom burger special with fries for $12. Loved it. Burger tasty, onions cooked right, bun good etc. Fries are good. Steak fries are soft cooked. Similar to McMenamins I tried the Gresham dog on a gluten free bun at $12+3 for the gf bun. Comes with coney chili, fried potatoes, cheese and ranch dressing. Couldn't find the cheese but that's fine Tasty, I got a little extra ranch. Owner was on site. Seemed nice. Discussed some future plans for rib night, family friendly karaoke night Service was great. Today I decided it was time to get out in the heat wave and get some lunch with my daughter. This place was new to me and looked like a nice spot to try. When we arrived we were instantly greeted and seated. The hostess immediately came and took our drink order, explained the specials and answered our questions. She was great. Food showed up in a timely manner. We ordered the BBQ tossed hot wings to start. They were great. Meaty, crispy and tender! Yum. We Both also ordered the hand dipped corn dogs. My husband and I absolutely love going here. We love the fact that it's kid friendly, which allows us to bring our son, niece and nephew. We love the service! The corn dogs are amazing. Our nephew loves the cheeseburgers. The fries are my absolute favorite. Well just overall everything is delicious. Best chocolate Oreo milkshake ever. Brought my granddaughter there and she loved her meal and the shake, served up old fashion style in the stainless steel cups, enough for three. Tasty juice, much better to me than smash burger. Not the fat rare burger of my dreams but much much less money. They gave me very fresh onion, not sure it comes that way, I had lettuce tomato mayonnaise omitted. Nice batch of fries, but tasted a bit raw, I cook my home fries before frying them. Bun was nice and fresh too. Nice outside in good weather. The waitress was brand new, she didn't know of any bike parking, that yelp says they have, but part of their fence was low enough to lean my bike against and lock. read more

Absolute banger. I came in expecting a simple-ass cheeseburger and experienced a life-altering event. Super juicy, soft, and had the perfect balance of toppings. What I didn't expect to like as much as I did was the fries. My first one was crispy, which was sensational with the softness of the burger, then I tried another and it was just the right amount of soggy; which is how I like my fries. What ensued was a rampage of mixing them with the burger and barbecue sauce I ordered on the side. I'd describe the flavor like a marriage between Five-Guys and In-N-Out. I recently read an article in regard to this restaurant and was excited to have something new in the neighborhood to try! My son wanted to take me to lunch, and I suggested we go. After cruising Farmers Market, we popped in. It didn't seem too busy, the sign said seat yourself, and so we did. ...and we waited... finally my son got up and asked for menus. Again...we waited.... I place no blame on the waitress, but the problem is that there was only one. The owner was helping out here and there, when he wasn't playing video poker. He did indeed come and take our order after I made awkward eye contact. Again...we waited... How long does it really take to make a hotdog? Finally we receive "our" food.... But it didn't look like our food. For example we had both ordered fries, but got chips. We both ordered the New York hotdog. I specifically looked to ensure there was no ketchup on top of this hotdog on the menu, as I'm not a big fan. These hotdogs clearly had ketchup. So, they took away the food, before bringing it back. I did see the waitress/owner looking at the menu, to confirm what I stated about the ketchup. We never got fries, the hotdogs sucked. I was super disappointed... and even more so that they charged us for the hotdogs that were made incorrectly and not eaten. Super bummed read more

This place was a JOKE, Never will I be back or recommend to anyone Waited forever to get a menu, placed an ordered for an appetizer she never brought it, no napkins or silverware. Had to go grab our own napkins. Asked for no tomato on our burgers but got tomatoes. My daughter asked for honey mustard for her meal and didn't receive that either, didn't ask how our food was or if we needed anything else, didn't bother to ask if we wanted any refills on our water. Told us she took $3 off our order for the trouble the amount of the food and the $3 "she" took off didn't add up to the amount the bill should have been! Have been looking for unique hot dogs in gresham. We hoped that megadogs would scratch that itch but went there 3 times during their posted open hours only to find it closed. So when Helfers on 3rd listed a variety of dogs and sausages, we we psyched to give it a try. My wife had hoped for a corn dog, but they were out of the batter. So we ordered a polish coney dog (grilled polish sausage, chili, cheese, fresh onion on a toasted bun), a sausage Mr. gresham dog ( grilled sausage of unnamed type, coney sauce, which was just chili, fried potatoes, cheese, and ranch dressing). Also ordered a small mac and cheese, chicken wings, and some onion rings. I like to start with the good things about the food...ok, I'm done. So the gresham dog was supposed to have fried potatoes, but no, not today. The chili for both dogs tasted like it came from a can. The cheese tasted like the nacho cheese sauce used on movie theater nachos. And that is the cheese they used for the coney (with a sprinkling of mild cheddar) and Mac and cheese, too. The chicken wings and onion rings were cooked very well. My wife thought the wings were juicy inside and crisp outside but felt they used too much cayenne. I liked them, but I didn't think they were in any way special. The mac and cheese with nacho cheese sauce also included grilled onions. Interesting addition, but it overwhelmed the dish. I couldn't discern any difference in flavor between the polish dog and the sausage dog. And the price was $50. Other than that, there is a large outdoor seating area and plenty of indoor seating. Parking is great, and there is a full bar. The woman behind the bar that took our order was super friendly. Everything was really clean, and the noise level allowed for normal conversation. There are pool tables in the basement but you have to traverse a steep set of stairs. Overall, it's a nice place. Just eat before you go. read more

This is a great place--one of the best kid-friendly places in Gresham. Bring your family. We bring our Granddaughter with us and she has so much fun. Great games for your child to play. Amazing milkshakes too. It is a great family-oriented place. Great kid's menu. Freshly squeezed juice for your drinks and your little ones. The service is an A+. My wife and I decided to try this place last weekend. We were excited to try it. So we seat ourselves and wait for about five minutes before the waitress gives us menus. I ordered a Jersey style dog with fries and mozzarella sticks. My wife ordered a veggie dog. We waited almost 30 minutes before they brought us the mozzarella sticks and the waitress then informed my wife they were out of veggie dogs. Why did she wait 30 minutes to tell us that. So the only thing left vegetarian was a salad so that's what she ended up ordering. I take a bite of a mozzarella stick and it wasn't even cooked still was cold in the middle cheese wasn't even melted. So we ask for the mozzarella sticks to be removed because we didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for another order. Our food finally arrives like 45 minutes since we ordered and my order was missing the fries and my wife's salad looked like some kid threw together a salad from a school salad bar. They did get the fries to us about ten minutes later and the fries were really good. My hot dog was not good. The hot dog was barely warm and was mushy.
