The chairs and ottomans they have are so comfortable! I immediately felt relaxed. This was my first dry pedicure, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was still very relaxing and I loved the scrub and hot towels. The space is also very cute. Simple colors but very sleek and modern. I was able to grab street parking right our front , but I can see parking being difficult on a busy day.

However, I do not know if I would bother coming back again due to a few reasons, but I would not try the same tech again. One, I noticed after the appointment that I had two cuts on separate cuticles from the tech trimming them back. Additionally, each of my cuticles were not given the same amount of attention. One particular finger stands out with the gap between the gel and my new growth being larger than the rest. I am aware that perhaps my nails grow unevenly, but I've gotten my nails done before and never had this issue so I think it's still worth noting. I also left the salon with unnoticed gel under my nail that I had to chisel off later. Lastly, at exactly the one week mark, the gel on one nail started lifting. That particularly upsets me because I'm worried about moisture and bacteria getting trapped so I had to remove the gel much sooner than anticipated. I work a desk job and genuinely don't do much with my hands so I am confident it wasn't anything I did. Overall, for $60, I expected better. I am honestly most disappointed because I was willing to support a salon with their values. Lastly, parking at the co-op is no longer free and hasn't been for at least a month. I wish their website would be updated.

I really hate writing this review because I have been patronizing LeLee Nail Salon for years, but…read moretoday's experience showed me that customer satisfaction no longer seems to matter once payment is collected. I have always booked specific nail techs because I know exactly how I like my nails, and I make that very clear upfront. I specifically book Lee because there has never been disappointment with how my nails look when she does them. Today was different. I booked this appointment months in advance to ensure my nails would be perfect for my upcoming vacation. I arrived on time for my appointment, and although Lee was late, I overlooked it because things happen. Once I sat down, she quietly mentioned that her back was hurting and asked if I would allow the girl she is training to do my nails. I immediately said no because she knows how particular I am, especially before a vacation. She then reassured me that the trainee Hannah was good and she would "just put the tips on" while she supervised and handled the shaping and finishing. Hannah is not good, she is rough on your nails and not ready to handle clients with specific needs. I reluctantly agreed based on that understanding. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill almost immediately. The trainee was applying the tips crooked, and I pointed it out right away. I repeatedly stated that I was unhappy and uncomfortable with how things were going. Lee kept saying she would fix it, but the overall experience was stressful and disappointing. The final result was unacceptable. The nails were visibly crooked, and I ultimately had to ask for one of them to be completely removed and redone because it looked so bad. My biggest issue is this: you knew your trainee Hannah was not ready. She is rough on approach, she is unable to shape, put the powder on etc...Instead of making proper accommodations or rescheduling clients, you attempted to push me through a service that did not meet the standard I have consistently paid for over the years. To make matters worse, when I got to the register, my bill was suddenly $240 with multiple added charges for shaping and other fees that had never been disclosed to me before and that I have never paid in the past. It felt extremely excessive considering the poor quality of the service I received. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. There was no real apology, no attempt to make things right, and not even a courtesy adjustment to the bill after such a bad experience. After years of loyalty, this was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, I will not be returning.

They don't take appointments on Fridays so you just gotta call to see what the wait is like or just have sheer luck with impeccable timing. I ended up with sheer luck on the impeccable timing. There were only two people working, a man and I woman, I assume they're the owners. While there were just two people working that may be because there's only two pedicure chairs and three pedicure stations. The polish selection is slim so I would suggest bringing your own color if possible. Also the pedicure chairs don't recline nor do the massage features work. The two individuals working were both nice. The woman did my pedicure while the male did my nails. Keep in mind I got a basic manicure and pedicure so I wasn't requiring much. I was satisfied with the job done and would consider going back. Just be careful with your timing on a Friday, you could be in for a long wait.

I had gotten long dipped nails a week ago from another place and it was just too impractical to keep. I wanted them removed and do shellac instead but they don't do shellac so I settled for gel. My technician suggested I just do an overlay and get the tips cut. He was meticulous and careful and I am so happy that I didn't have to get a new gel set! In total, the overlay was only $25. Well worth it! I will be back. Tip: since there is only two technicians, highly suggest appointments. I came at a good time as when I left, two people were already waiting.
