Upon arriving they said they only had one of the two tires I requested but if I go to their other location they would accommodate me cause they had more of the size I needed there. Hectors tire is contracted by my employer to perform routine maintenance on our company vehicles. On Thursday December 2 2021 I brought my company van in for new tires as I had two flat tires and was driving on the spare tire. After replacing all the tires the staff at hectors threw the spare tire in the rear of the van without properly securing it in the storage compartment. I got 2 used tires here on Monday March 23. The following day, I woke up and got in my car to leave the house and was stopped because one of the new tires I had bought YESTERDAY was completely flat. I called them and asked if they could have someone come put air in my tire so I could get to the shop without ruining my rim. The owner told me they are short on staff and had no one to send to me at the moment. I drove on the flat tire to the shop (which ended up messing my rim up). When I got to the shop I saw 3 mechanics who work there standing around doing nothing so I'm confused on how they had no one. He proceeded to change my tire and said he didn't know why it went flat. The new tire he gave me barely had any tread on it and at this point I was just SICK AND TIRED. I left this place very unhappy after this experience and I will not be going back. Great customer service even at 8am right when they open! I had a flat while heading out this morning.. long story short- AAA guys couldn't get my tire off to put the spare on. They had to put air in my tire with a nail in it and recommended me to hit up the tire shop down the street (Hector's Tires). **This reveiew is for USED tires, but if you can afford new ones, always go for the new one!!!!** Service and Tires: Tires can be really really expensive so this is a great alternative that carries used tires. People here are nice and service is quick. Don't expect it to be like America's Tires Company where you have a 60,000mi warranty and free rotations because they are sold AS-IS. But if you know how to properly examine a tire, then you will save a lot. Price: I've had mine for $25 a tire. The price includes tire, installation, balance and disposal. So you will save 75-80% a tire. Also they do carries new tires as well for a very good prices. ***IMPORTANT LPT*** -When buying used tires, make sure to check all tires for their tread. Inner tread and the tread on the outer sides of the tire! -Also check the date as well. There date are numbers located on the sidewall(outside) of the tire that has a month and year. (e.g. 090512 = Sept 5 2012). Hopefully your tire is only 0-3 years old. -As a precaution, be a little OCD and check your tire pressure regularly(specifically in the first couple of weeks) to the tire pressure is consistent. My PSI is roughly 33PSI for my Infiniti G35, but tire pressure may vary depending on your vehicle. -Also, if you have the money, just go for the new tire every time. If you can afford a Benz, then you can afford a new tire. read more

Went there for a tire replacement, was sent away with a tire that wouldn't hold air. Went back the next day to fix that. Come to find out, we needed to get our rim reshaped or whatever, that was 50 bucks. And what do you know, later that day the tire isn't holding air.... Our tire blew on the 91 freeway that night in the carpool lane. I will never go to this place again. And if you value your life, I hope you won't either. These guys are awesome. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. They mounted my whitewalls on some old rims I brought in for a very good price then even leak checked the rim and tire in water for me to ensure I wouldn't have any issues. I was in immediate need of tire change and since this being closest to my place, gave it a shot to check out how much they're were asking. The folks there were really nice and offered me new tires and at an extremely reasonable rate and waived off the installation cost and tire disposal fee which would have costed me at around a bucks extra. They're were super quick too in getting the jon done. One flip side was that unlike higher end tire shops they don't have a wheel alignment service which I was looking for. Nonetheless I'm happy with Hector tires and would definitely recommend it to everyone! read more
