Ordered the ham and egg breakfast sandwich on a Portuguese roll, asked to add lettuce but it was not added. No sauce of any kind, so it was super dry. My bad for not asking for a condiment. Ordered a chicken salad wrap for my lunch and it came with a bag of chips. Looks to have been grilled, packaged in a clear plastic clamshell container. Asked for lettuce and onion, and it was included. I think I will attribute the very strange taste and texture to "don't buy chicken salad from a donut shop", my bad. Lastly, ordered a butternut donut (because how can you order from heav'nly donuts, and not order a doughnut?) Unfortunately, I hate shredded coconut and this is covered in semi-toasted coconut. Maybe it's my misunderstanding, but my idea of butternut is the small crunchy yellow "crumbs" like at Dunkin - should be called a coconut donut? (but I guess it's different at each donut place.) I apologize for comparing this place to DD! All tolled, I'd give it a 4 (if I could it'd be a 4.5) and would like to try other items in the future.

They share a door with a barbershop and the storefront is tiny. From what I understand, they mostly sell wholesale to other restaurants, but they open up a small window of sales to walk-in customers. When they are sold out, they are done for the day, so get there early! Now for the donuts. Delicious, delicate, and honestly some of the best I have ever had. These are not your average gas station donuts. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. But what really blew me away was the hospitality. I had already picked out 8 donuts when I was told it was cash only. I had none on me, but offered to run out and come back if she could hold my box. Without hesitation, she handed me the box and told me to pay whenever I could. She was completely serious. That kind of trust and generosity is rare and it genuinely made my day. A few things to know before you go: it is cash only, the space is small with just a few tables and chairs, and they sell out fast. But it is absolutely worth the effort. Support this business. The lemon filled coconut covered honey dippeded is spectacular and my favorite. One confession... I ate one of the doughnuts that was brought home each time.
