I ordered from door dash. The second time, I asked for no plain, they got real smart and gave me four sugar, and four glazed in a dozen donuts. I called to complain and the worker lied to me and said they only had 4 different donuts in the store. The glaze, and sugar, maple, and chocolate bars. The manager got on the phone and told me they did not just have those donuts in the store. This was intentional and rude, I won't be ordering from them again, and will go pick up donuts from the Donut Shop, or donut store next to Safeway. We have been surprising our kids with a donut morning and attempted to try Heavenly Donuts twice, and this second time they ignored my instructions intentionally being RUDE. Pain donuts, are GLAZED, or sugar coated to MOST people. read more

Why 2? Kinda a dic move you say? Its because you dont stock anything, like donut holes! If you sold out, the last 3 of my visits, maybe the guy whoo (his words ) " i dont cook the donuts" tell the guy who does ,thar ur out of everything and push out more products. We all know that they dont cost much to make at all, so lets stock those racks and make it sales. They are good. But not good when ur out. Lost dollars. Money. If you bake em they will come. read more

So, I have been here a few times. The wait is usually about 10 minutes till you actually get to order, which is kind of crazy, since theres usually only 3 to 4 cars in front of me. I've narrowed it down to the problem being they don't have no menu! They have the generics of what they offer but they have no specifics of the types of donuts. If you have a drive-through, you have a detailed menu of everything that you offer. You have to psychically know the types of donuts they have or sit there for 4 to 7 minutes asking them if they have chocolate original, chocolate with sprinkles, chocolate old fashionedz glazed old fashioned, cinnamon roll, bear claw etx...it's insane! Just show the flavors and the options you have that like any donut shop would, drive the or not! We can't see inside so you have to tell us what you have so we dont waste our time, your time, or the customers behind us. It's so bizarre and counterproductive! Everything about a drive-through donut shop works great. Krispy kreme has one as does Dunkin. Those 2 are swift and they show you everything they have on their drive they menu. AMAZING! This place also makes their donuts in house and they brag about it, so they should never be running out of the most popular flavors. It makes no sense at all. The way they operate is just odd AF! And right now, I would fully expect them to be taking precautions by wearing gloves and masks, especially since they have to grab every donut individually by hand, but nope! At least the person taking my money and handing me donuts, no gloves or masks or precautions of any kind. I definitely won't be back read more

My husband and I love this place and how clean it is...our new favorite (didn't know until tonight) are Puffies!!!! Oh my, this little bit of heaven called a "Puffy" has a light airy outside filled with smooth custard and dusted with powdered sugar Check these Puffies out...open 24 hours haha treat yourself!! read more

If you are going to be 24 hours then have donuts available other than just maple. If you cannot accomplish that simple task please close your business at night. We came through at 9 p.m. and you did not even have a glazed or stuffed. Donut House is my spouse from now on. They are on Cypress by Safeway. Their donuts will give you an orgasm in your mouth. They may even make you squirt. read more

1130pm - visiting from out of town I see donuts and a sign that says they're open. I try the front doors which were locked. There's no customers at this time but lots of workers inside. I then go to the drive thru which is supposedly open according to the sign. Nobody answers. I drive up to the window. Nobody. I think I missed something so I enter the drive thru a second time. Nothing. I then drive to the other front entrance. One employee points at me and the other one stares but no effort is made to communicate with me. I guess they're closed at night now? They need to turn off all their neon signs if that's the case. read more

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the donuts at Heavenly!! They get a 5 star rating today for excellent, over & above, customer service!! I placed an early order yesterday so i could be sure to get some apple fritters, they go quickly, and I'm forever missing out! Not this time! I have been craving these fritters for weeks! Been trying to restrain my sugar addiction but couldn't take no more!! I ordered a Heavenly dozen too, just so we could have pleanty for a few days! I could barely contain my excitement when Doordash delivered my treats, only to discover that there were NO FRITTERS!dundundun Needless to say i was not a happy girl! So, i sweetly called Heavenly to find out what happened, the Dasher left them behind!! I mean, come on! You got one job dude!....but i digress...i tried not to whine but i think it came out as a whine that i was soooo disappointed and is there any way to still get them?! At first..no...but just as i was about to accept my fate, one of the guys stepped up and said he would bring hem to us!!! Yaaay!! Things were looking up and the end of the world was put on hold for another day!! Then to top it off, they gave me extra ones and all had just been cooked so they were warm & fresh!!! I know a bit of dramatizing here, but i like to switch things up now & again! Great service! Great donuts! Open 24hrs and they have a drive thru!! Keep up the excellent work Heavenly! And a huge THANK YOU For staying open and delivering the same top notch quality as always!! read more

Heavenly Donuts - The drive through sign... - Donuts Near Me - Redding, California

See all

Never have the donuts that you want Regardless what time of day you come. People are not very friendly either.

To all the haters giving bad ratings because of DoorDash or staff not wearing masks especially are losers, if you have a problem with that for some reason just keep it to yourself. Great donut place open 24/7 not perfect but definitely pretty good. Tired of these pussys giving bad reviews because of masks read more

Waited in the drive thru for service and no one came to help us. My husband went inside the restaurant to order instead and was told he would have to wait because he was going to help the drive thru car first, where we had just been. All we wanted was 3 donuts. Overall terrible service. read more

When I crave a donut, this is the place I go in Redding for great tasting donuts. They have all the standard types, chocolate old-fashion is my go to favorite, and friendly service. read more

I received absolutely the worst service I've ever gotten coming to this location today. Was trying to order donuts for a morning birthday breakfast and the lady at the drive-through was blunt, completely rude, and would substitute my order for things I didn't ask for. She came back to the door with an attitude because I didn't want the donuts she substituted, because mine weren't available. A smile and an apology for not having the donuts would have went a long way, and I likely would have bought the substitution donuts. Instead i received a bitter old lady and decided instead to drive across town to a much friendlier location. read more

Sad thing about this place is that the donuts are absolutely delicious...but the dumb kid working behind the counter totally ruined it for me not once but TWICE! I walked in around 7pm and was browsing their donut selection when he walked up and rushed me. Ended up getting one donut when I was trying to order a dozen cause he rushed me. Never again. read more

Heavenly Donuts needs to change the name to No Donuts or extremely old Donuts. For a business that's 24 hours should rethink about changing to close after 11AM and open at 5AM because if you go in anytime after good luck on getting anything good. NEED TO TAKE THE NEON SIGN DOWN THAT SAY HOT AND FRESH!!!!! FALSE ADVERTISING!!! More like hard and stale. What happen to the mom and pop donut shops? This isn't one of them. read more

Heavenly Donuts - Nothing. Why say your open 24 hours when you have nothing to sale. Take your HOT and FRESH SIGN down. FALSE ADVERTISING. - Donuts Near Me - Redding, California

In our ever-fattening culture, we all know that the little fried gems known as donuts are also dastardly, artery-clogging villains in disguise. So I also know that if I want to splurge on said donuts, I have to be sure that they are worth it. Although it's not the best donuts I've had, Heavenly Donuts is definitely my choice for the Redding area. There are many different varieties and toppings, both cake and yeast kinds. The yeasts are soft and fluffy, and the frosted topped ones have good flavor. I also like their cinnamon swirl donut and the old fashioned ones. The buttermilk bars are kind of small. Another thing that keeps me coming back to Heavenly is their dozen deal. A "dozen" here is actually 14 donuts total. Go online to their website and they usually have coupon deals (including a cheaper dozen price) and you can also sign up for a free Birthday Donut! Yay! read more

Their selection is good and tasty... however, the gentleman that's running the show in the evenings is a total D-bag and likely driving away all the business. We've gone in twice and the same sour faced gentleman is there. Both times, rushing and giving us attitude while we try to decide what we would like to order e.g., " is that all, do you know what you want." He won't give you any time to think and will just scowl at you the whole time. It's uncomfortable and awkward. Honestly, just fire the dude... it's clear he doesn't like his job. read more

I was hungry, I was staying next door, I didn't really check reviews as I was just looking for dessert. I got what I deserved (pun). It's better than Dunkin, but so is leftover horse feed. It's not even as good as Krispy Kreme. I got a chocolate/coconut one, lemon filled, and a pineapple fritter. At least the pineapple one showed some imagination. The lemon donut tasted like melted Jolly Rangers, and the chocolate one, I don't even recall it having chocolate flavor at all. It's not even that cheap. I'm not faulting this location for being in the middle of remodeling or only having one employee to man both drive-through and walk-up windows at 10 PM. This rating is just for the donuts themselves. Walk on by. read more

The donuts are just a slight cut above the supermarket variety. I think they use the same icing ( doesn't taste homemade). Which would be OK. They have a big city type gimic: staying open all night plus drive through ( a little unnecessary). The coffee is also not great. But the reason they get 2 stars is I ordered a chilla, and it was awful so I asked for a small coffee instead. Not only did they not refund the difference but the cashier said loudly and within my earshot "what a waste!" That's how I feel about the $3.69 I spent on my drink. Would rather go to Holiday market for their cereal coated donuts. At least that's a little innovative, an they treat you right. read more

Just stopped through to get my kids some donut holes to munch on while our car got serviced and they were moldy! Absolutely disgusting. read more

All the potential for a unique approach, but missing out on a huge opportunity to break out of the typical donut shop mold. Heavenly Donuts - Donuts Near Me - Redding, California

Stopped in on our way out of town at 5:30am. The lady who helped us was friendly and chatty. I appreciated starting my day with such a cheery person! The doughnuts were easily one of the best doughnuts in the Western Hemisphere. I've been to the eastern AND western hemispheres. The coffee warmed me deep within and gave me a whole new outlook on life and Northern California. read more

They are not open 24 hours. Went to the drive through and waited. Then called and nothing. Sad face.

This place is nasty. Staff without masks (in Jan 2021), sketchy people filling up the lobby, many also without masks, slow service, no Covid precautions, Fox News on the TV, you get the picture. Donuts are OK. read more

Not open 24 hours! We wanted donuts on the way to meet Amtrak train at 3am. It appeared there was someone inside, but after waiting 10 minutes, no one appeared at the walk-up window or the drive-thru. Very disappointed. read more

This is literally the worst place to go to! I came in the morning for coffee, donuts and ice water. After I pay for everything, he hands it all out and I noticed that the water cup I asked for was full of ice, no water. I handed it back and asked him if he could add water to it. He brings back the SAME CUP and says I now owe him $1.39 for the water. How does that make sense? It was free when it was a cup of ice but all of a sudden now that water is added it's $1.39? Not to mention that's what I asked for to begin with. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! Also the donuts suck read more

Employees don't wear mask and the cooks, handling the donuts, don't wear mask or gloves. Sorry for the loss of the owner

Came here during my drive through Redding. As soon as you walk in the smell of the donuts is amazing and all donuts are on display and look delicious! However, it was horrifying to see that none of the workers (bakers who were making the donuts included) nor customers here were wearing masks. Seems almost selfish as they are not thinking about the risk they are imposing on others during this pandemic. Unfortunately I had to leave after witnessing this i really hope this place holds itself to better/higher health standards. Would love to try donuts in the future. read more

If your donuts are going to be mediocre at best, at least make sure your customer service is exceptional.

I went by this afternoon at the drive up. I had to repeat my self several times that I wanted a Ice Coffee without sugar & no cream. I also order a chocolate cake donut. Got the window & the young man again ask me how many sugars in my coffee. I again told him I wanted no sugar or cream just coffee with ice. So he hands me a bag with my donut but it wasn't what I order ...it was a plain cake donut with chocolate frosting NOT a chocolate cake donut & I have gotten it many many times before at your shop. I told him this isn't what I ordered & then he said to me "your being rude & I don't have to serve you". I told him I'm not the one being rude you are as your arguing me over what I order. Then he said do you want your money back. I said yes & he gave me back my money. I'm very unhappy at how I was treated. It was around 2:45 pm & today June 10th. I guess I will be going to another donut shop who has much better customer service. read more

Service is important. If you don't like your job then I suggest you find a new one. My experience was unnecessary and flat out rude. I spoke with a girl at the window 'Carrie' is her name per my receipt. I offered a suggestion that they take pictures of the donuts so that people have an idea what to order. She said to me sarcastically 'oh really' and closed the window on me. A perfect way to make customers not EVER want to return. And be sure that they let EVERYONE they know to avoid this rude donut shop. read more

I really like this place. Donuts have always been fresh and offer great taste. Just tonight, February 28th, 2018 I was in the store. When I was ordering a not too pleasant person came in, she appeared to be very short and not well manneredor groomed. While I was ordering she hit me up for change. The person serving me inform her not to bother any other customers for change. As I was getting my Donuts the same person pulled out plenty of cash and paid for her product just after me. read more

Literally every time my partner and I go to get donuts they are always out. They never have the jelly filled that he wants. I went to get some maple bars and guess what?? NO MAPLE BARS! So far, I have had the cherry, apple, and blackberry fritters. Everything we try is better than the last. Worth buying a dozen to get the discount... Their blueberry cake donuts are the best thing ever! read more

What a bummer to go here. I forgot my wallet after really wanting some donuts so i searched my car for anything loose change and didn't have enough. Being far from home i ran by my work to grab some change from my tips and came all the way back to heavenly and had more than enough to buy my donuts now. So as i handed my change to the guy at the window and apologized that it was change he said he wouldn't take it due to it being all change. Catching me off gaurd i jokingly said seriously and he said yes and so i left. That's ridiculous... it's your freaking job to count change if i have it sorry you're too lazy to count some change. I would not recommend this place the donuts suck anyway and the service is worse. read more

I love this place! I live way out in Hayfork and we always stop by this place heading back home from Redding. They have the best donuts around! Hands down. Always fresh and delicious, staff are always super friendly and always have a good chat. They deserve more 5 star ratings. The place is not dirty, and no they don't have a Covid approval sticker. So what, wear your damn mask if your scared to go in. But don't ruin a good small business just because you have a personal issue, they do they're best with what they got. read more
