Very cute stop on our way from Portland to San Francisco. They are known for their cinnamon rolls, but they have plenty of other nice baked good available as well. The cinnamon roll was a bit dry and cool when on the road, so I definitely recommend waiting until you get home and heating it up because it tastes so much better. We also got a chicken pot pie soup which was absolutely delicious for a quick lunch. And everyone there was incredibly kind as well. read more

Have Honors gets five stars from this yelper. Mr. Joe And and I both had Patti mounts that were delicious. Just the right size freshly made with grilled red onions and the best Swiss cheese actually had some flavor. Often times it doesn't. The service was delightful quick and quiet. The iced teas were huge. To add all of that onto a walk through the bakery on our way in where we grabbed some lemon cookies and some jars of homemade jams! Have I said how welcoming the ambiance? First time here, wanted to check it out. I purchased a small cinnamon roll and a package of four macaroons. A bit pricey at $23 for all. No prices on the packages so you don't know what it costs until you check out. Cinnamon rolls were OK, not anything outstanding, just average. Macaroons were very good. We just stopped in for our first time at this establishment. We just entered the restaurant and asked our server if they served milkshakes. He rudely stated "No, thank God!" turned his back on us, walked away, then looked back at us as if to say "Took care of them!" as he continued to walk away. My son since he was a little boy has wanted to stop here for their amazing cinnamon rolls. We took it to go on the car. The lady that checked us out was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Hello, I called restaurant this morning to complain about an order I bought. your manager rose has been extremely rude. Belligerent, hostile and argumentative the whole time. It started by. I asked if I could talk to the manager, she said, yeah, I can help you and I said, oh, are you the manager? Can I please have your name? And she instantly demanded my information, my name as if it would make a difference, when I was just asking for a manager. I one hundred percent called at the very beginning one hundred percent respectfully, and nice. The minute I got roses attitude I gave her back exactly what she gave me and she got even more hostile because she did not like being treated the way she was treating a customer. I have done nothing but be nice. She refused to give me her name. She was yelling at me Cushing at me. Your employee in the background could be heard. Yelling at me and making fun of me as well. My only problem is, I just wanna solve the problem you're refusing to solve it. The owner is on-site refuses to take the phone call & witnessed her hostile manager, as she was standing next to her. The owner can hear Everything that is happening. And is refusing to step up as an owner. But instead, letting a server Rose handle the situation and yell at me as if I did something wrong. I was served rancid cake. Your pineapple upside down cake was expired. It clearly had been out lower then a day or two. Rancid and disgustingly gross. When I tried to call and complain this morning, very nice, very soothed. Calming voice Rose decided to be hostile from the get demanding to know my information. The minute I asked to talk to a manager, she said, I might be the manager, I can help you sure I just wanted to be helped. I didn't want my money back. I didn't want a replacement item. I just wanted to let you know that you're making people sick. By sending out old rancid, food pineapple upside down cake is good 1-2 days max this was alot older. I'm upset with how I was treated. and I am letting other people know. I did record the conversation. I do have photos of the food. I just wanted an apology, and instead I get a huge headache, disrespectfully by your Rose and your other employee, I at 4 hours away from you. How dare you suggest I ride back? And get my money from you 4 hours. I would waste more in gas than it would cost me for the cake. The dry, cinnamon roll and the macaroons that my wife loved the macaroons. So, you know, that's good. The pineapple upside down cake literally was rancid, didn't even smell like pineapple upside down cake. The minute I smelled, it, I knew something was wrong, but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. And I ate one little bite and guess what? It was the gross sour slimy, and that's all I wanted to call & complain about & let you guys know what you were doing, but instead, I get rose. Rose, the face of your company that just treated me like dirt & I will be more than happy to share with anybody. You refuse to make it right. Your solution was drive back get the money or mail it.. but with the FEAR of retaliation from ROSE , I would NOT give her my address.. said I would give it to the owner. who guess what refused to talk to me. so how is that making it right! You said you were gonna make it right. I did not feel safe, giving my personal information to rose. rose was hostile, belligerent & demeaning me. & the owner stood next to her & let her do it. That is some prime customer service. I called back 4 times each time I asked for owner & denied. Now we wait to see if owner truly calls me back as I was told they would. The background employee said.. I get what I give.. apparently not or I would have gotten a nice respectful Rose. A rose who truly wanted to give a true sincere apology on their bad product. Not worth $13 for slice of rancid cake. Cinnamon roll was dry as could be as well but meh at least fresh! Again wife loved the Macaroons. Not worth the stop or visit to be treated so gross by small town folks who dont care about travelers passing by or the quality of food. No prices even listed on any items! read more

In late December 2024 my wife, daughter, and I were driving along the highway and we were told from friends about the amazing & huge cinnamon rolls here. Naturally, we were curious so we stopped and we were sure glad we did! The cinnamon roll was the biggest my wife and I have ever seen and it was delicious. When you enter, there is a full spread of baked goods which makes the place feel very welcoming. The owner, Christine (we think is her name), ended up talking with us as she was admiring our little girl. She was very personable and nice to talk with. When we were waiting in line to pay, our little girl kept wanting to have another cinnamon roll and bread. Christine was extremely generous and thought that our daughter was so cute in her pajamas that she gave us the bread and cinnamon roll. Found this wonderful place on a road trip through Oregon. We came for the bathroom and stayed long enough to buy some crumble. It was really tasty with a lot of fresh fruit. When we got home (same day) found it to be dry and stale. No date on package but was way overpriced. Be sure to ask when the pastries by the front door were baked and how much they cost! I used to drive up from Medford regularly to get baked goods, but moved away 5 years ago. I'm currently visiting and made a trip up. I bought one giant cinnamon roll and one normal sized cinnamon roll. When I got them home and opened them up, they were rock hard, so stale that even the oven and the microwave oven couldn't save them. I spent $20 on the giant cinnamon roll and nine dollars on the little one and it was all garbage. They need to go ahead and do what they need to do, time to close shop. read more

Not our first time here, stopped for the huge cinnamon rolls and little store before. This time we needed a quick bite, late breakfast or early lunch and some peace off the highway. This is a perfect place for that. Love the atmosphere here and the background music was perfect. Seated in seconds, menu, water, coffee, ordered, food delivered so pleasant and effortlessly. This is definitely a well orchestrated house. Wife had the eggs and potatoes, I had the chefs special of the day, a taco omelette. Definitely a taco. I also enjoyed some of their country gravy and let me tell you, they know what they're doing. Every time we drive through Oregon we make sure we stop here for their cinnamon rolls. They are simply the best ever.

I hate writing bad reviews and seldom do because I know that owning a restaurant is a tough business however. The food at Heaven on Earth is uninspired and pedestrian, basic truck stop fare. The prices are very high for what is being served. My daughter, Son-in-Law, myself and granddaughter ate there for breakfast. Two of us ordered two eggs, sausage, toast and a small portion of hashbrowns. My daughter had an omelet and my GD had biscuits and gravy with a cup of cocoa. The three adults had coffee which was toped off once. The bill came to a startling $88, the coffee was $12! I'll not be back. read more

It's kinda in the middle of nowhere.. but if you're traveling north on I5 and happen to pass by you most definitely have to stop for a cinnamon roll.. or any other of the fresh baked pies and breads. They also offer many home made pickled items and jams as well as a full service restaurant. We just had to stop for a cinnamon roll (we only got a small one, they have gargantuan ones as well) and of course we were not disappointed. It was a perfect pairing with the coffee we had. Not sure how I feel about this place. My family and I have been driving past it for years when we go to California. We finally had a chance to stop. The place is quite quaint we were seated in a rather dark section of the restaurant. Our server was a little salty to start but turned it around rather quickly. There were 3 of us. We ordered the meatloaf dinner, French dip and ham and cheese omelet. The meatloaf came with the soup of the day which was chicken cordon blue soup. This was not appetizing. We think it might have been the Shepard pie soup as it had peas in it. The omelet was mediocre but the French dip was good. The best thing we had though was the apple butter!! So many fun memories of growing up in Southern Oregon. Tubing down the Rogue River, rock climbing outside Gold Beach, learning how to snowboard on Mt Ashland, first job in high school giving boat tours of Crater Lake, and spending lots of quality time here at Heaven on Earth with family and friends. Their bakery item, jellies and jams and fruit pies have always been much revered, and this was a usual stop for breakfast either after Sunday church, or early mornings after those late night adventures. Their Trucker's Omelet is always top notch, and their Biscuits and Gravy is always a rib-stickin' delight. And of course their Cinnamon Rolls are always big, sweet, sticky, and delicious. The guys and gals who work there are always very helpful and friendly. Always fun to talk to them about new items in the bakery, and which jar of fruit is their favorite. read more

The breastfast my husband and I got were both very basic, standard breakfast . That being said, everything was so fresh and deliciously made. I have to confess....I was reminded by my self to write this review while I was standing inside the door of my refrigerator eating their marionberry jam from the jar with a spoon... I polished it off then used my finger to get every last bit before I put it in the sink. My best friend flew in to visit me last week. It was her first trip to Oregon & Heaven on Earth Bakery was our first road trip. I've driven down the interstate hundreds of times in my 40 years & always said "next time I have got to stop". Coincidentally, a video popped up on instagram showing their giant cinnamon rolls so naturally we had to plan a road trip to get our hands on one. It was SO worth the 2 hour round trip. Before snagging baked goods & jam to go we shared a veggie omelet & potatoes with a fresh biscuit & apple butter. Absolutely delicious! My kiddos will be flying in for a visit in 2 weeks & I plan to surprise them with a road trip so they too can experience the giant cinnamon roll in all its glory. This is a charming, clean and. tidy restaurant, which opened in 1973 and is still owned by the original, Christine. We had soup that was delicious and shared a "small" ( not ) cinnamon roll. It was warmed up with butter and absolutely divine. The waiter was excellent. There were home canned delights and baked goods galore. Received one thin slice cut in half. Service? One person sat me and U waited awhile for somebody else to ask me if I had been helped "nope". Asked for Diet Coke. "Nope". Finally able to stop here and try the infamous cinnamon rolls by Heaven on Earth bakery and they sure did NOT disappoint! Upon entering, it is truly a delightful entry full of freshly canned and pickled goods from jams, jellies, pickles to so much more. Great for gifts to loved ones back home or just to store and save as novelty pantry items. We selected a regular sized cinnamon bun topped with hazelnuts and super delicious perfectly iced and not too sweet frosting. We highly regretted not bringing more with us. The omelette was perfectly cooked and perfectly browned home fried taters. Came with a choice of toast or biscuits and gravy. We chose the latter and it was served with homemade marionnberry and apple jelly. Service was excellent. Coffee brought right out and always topped off. Coffee mugs were classic and kept our coffee at the perfect temp. Don't put it off and get in there! read more

We stopped here for years on our way through to get cinnamon rolls. It's been about 4 years and sadly this time we were so disappointed. We bought 2 pecan Carmel and not only is the size half of what they were before, but it was tough like eating crust on French bread and very dry, even in the middle which is what usually is the very favorite part of a cinnamon roll. It does say on the packaging you can heat with butter on top. But we never needed to do that in previous years. For 17.98 for 2, I expected much better food. I stopped yesterday my way to visit my grandchildren to buy a giant cinnamon roll for us to share. I've stopped before and they were good, but that was at least 6 years ago. They smelled delicious and they were still warm. This morning, we dug in with anticipation. What a disappointment! There was hardly any cinnamon. For $18.95, I thought I'd be getting a cinnamon roll, not bread with a sprinkle of cinnamon. I don't know if I will be back, even though it is right on my way.
