Topic: Honeybee Bakery Date: 8/30/25 Quality: 9/10 Value: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Timeliness: 10/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Total: 44/50 Building and ambiance are nothing special - locals tell me they're moving the location soon however! The Apple Fritter had great flavor and sweetness, and a wonderful crunchy outside and a softer interior. The Glazed Buttermilk Bar was very dense but had a great crunch. The apple fritter was my favorite between the two. Nice little bakery. $26 for 11 items, average of $2.36 each. A little more pricey than other donut places but certainly worth the price occasionally. Will definitely come back!!

The best donut shop in Brookings. They only make enough fresh donuts that they can sell 100% everyday. I have tried several different donuts in my life but the ones I tried at HBB really are good. I love the taste of their Long John donuts and cake donuts. Such a weird location and only one lady to help you. The selection is so sparse but they all taste super delicious.

Couldn't resist the glorious smell as I was walking around the strip mall. I had never had Honeybee Bakery and I as so very impressed. Sweet and friendly service and unbelievable pastries. I got the apple fritter, a twist and a fancy sugared donut with custard, fresh strawberry and chocolate drizzle.

We were driving through town and planned to stop for coffee, but I craved baked goods all of a sudden and googled bakery. This place popped up right next to where we stopped for gas - it was kismet! I couldn't decide between sweet and savory so I got one of each, and a cup of coffee. The maple bacon bar was perfect with my coffee, and the jalapeño pepper jack croissant fulfilled my need for salt. Great little shop with a fun assortment of baked goods, it was a tough choice. Also friendly staff! My two pastries and cup of coffee came to $10, not bad! And they didn't push for a tip, which is rare these days but appreciated. Highly recommend!

Great select of baked goods ! Get there early or you may miss out

I must say I couldn't wait to enjoy this bakery again when we stayed in Brookings Oregon. Spencer ( the owner ) continues to excel in his bakeries over the top delicious offerings. I actually when there every morning while we were staying there. Hands down the best pastries I've ever had. Keep up the great job Spencer and looking forward to seeing your new location when we visit again this Summer 2025 !!

I ordered the Charlie, a fresh tuna sandwich with dill, tomato, and a balsamic reduction. My wife chose the turkey sandwich, made from whole roasted turkey that is cooked and sliced in-house, served with Dijon mustard, provolone, and fresh greens. We opted for the gluten-free bread, which was excellent, but they also offer house-made bread that looked and smelled amazing. We paired our sandwiches with the vegetable soup, which was hearty, loaded with vegetables, and seasoned beautifully. Everything tasted fresh, carefully prepared, and made with real attention to quality. What surprised us most was that this isn't just a sandwich shop. The store carries an impressive selection of premium spices, sauces, and specialty foods. We left with a powerful chili paste that will be perfect with smoked pork chops and a coconut curry sauce that came with a recipe for a coconut curry rice dish we're looking forward to making at home. Be sure to save room for dessert. They offer a variety of both gluten-free and traditional baked goods. I tried the chocolate ball and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere made the experience even better. While we were eating, beautiful piano music filled the room. We were amazed to discover it wasn't recorded music at all--it was being performed live by Michelle, a concert-trained pianist. Her partner, Steve, has an equally interesting background, having brewed beer for the Grateful Dead. Their passion and personality are woven into every part of the business. The food quality was exceptional, yet the prices were remarkably reasonable. It's rare to find a place that combines outstanding food, specialty products, live music, and genuinely interesting people under one roof. If you're passing through Gold Beach, don't miss it. Highly recommended.

Nothing interesting or groundbreaking about these boards for the prices in my opinion. Everything seemed liked basic grocery store items and I make more artisanal and elevated boards just at home. Service was subpar. Table of 2 & they asked for my ID to seat us at the bar -- we didn't plan to sit there but that's what seemed available to them. was there at a very slow point of the day. The place itself is small and not very spacious. Overall my first experience at this could have been way better and I did expect more. I also visited the store that is interconnected -- bought a few items including a coconut blondie. The blondie was delicious but service in the store was just the same as the restaurant.
