I cannot say enough good things about Paragon Coffeehouse. I had been on an epic roadtrip for the last week and a half, and this was the best coffee shop I had visited from here to Vancouver, BC. Not only is the coffee drinks excellent (they use Noblehouse Coffee out of Ashland, OR), but their pastries are top notch. The cafe is a spacious place with lots of fun merch, games to play, and a nice spot to sit and work or chat with a friend. The service was great and they helped me make good choices on what to get. I couldn't resist trying one of their specialty drinks, the Maple Lavender latte with orange zest. When I went to sip this beautiful drink I also breathed in the fresh orange zest scent. This is one of the best latte's I've ever had. The flavors go together so beautifully and I wish I could have this every day. For pastries, I tried their cheddar scallion scone and their apple turnover. The cheddar scone was like no other scone over had. It was so light, cheesy and fluffy. The apple pastry was also amazing. I highly recommend stopping here if you pass through Crescent City. I would move here just so I could come to this coffee shop every day.
This place is everything and more! Organic and clean products! They use Alexandre family farms a2/a2 milk and yogurt! Speaking of yogurt their parfait was the best "grab and go" parfait we've ever had. You can taste the quality of everything they use down to the granola and fruit they added. There was the yummiest strawberries, blueberries and even blackberries!!! Seriously the only place to get coffee and breakfast snacks! Additionally we had a very yummy and warm spinach croissant and almond croissant with a delicious cinnamon-y filling. We also got an iced white mocha pumpkin latte & of course that was incredible too! Very grateful for places like Paragon coffee when we are traveling as we really prioritize clean, organic ingredients and this place clearly does too! Thank you!
En route to the Redwoods, we needed a quick pick-me-up, and the reviews and menu here looked promising. Fortunately, the place lived up to expectations. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly. The coffee shop itself is spacious, with plenty of seating, lots of natural light, and a selection of cute items for sale that add to the charm of the space.There were five of us, and we all ordered different drinks. Everything was well made, but my favorite was the Golden Cardamom Latte. It was flavorful, perfectly balanced, and several of my friends agreed it was the standout drink of the group. We also picked up a couple of pastries, both of which were delicious and paired nicely with the coffee. Pricing felt fair for the quality, and overall it was a great stop before continuing our journey. I'd happily return if I were passing through the area again.
Such a cute coffee spot! Tried the Blueberry Pancake Latte and the mint mojito. The blueberry pancake tasted exactly like one. It was really good! The mint mojito was a cold brew with an option to add sweet cream. It was okay. Friendly staff. Great place to stop by if you're ever passing through crescent city.

Their espresso beans are organic and roasted that week so I grabbed a bag The staff was pleasant and asked if I needed any extra items like a steamery for my oatmeal. Great music and chill spot
To keep this short and sweet, my wife and I are on a road trip and we love cafes so Paragon popped up on our journey and it was the perfect stop. The coffee was amazing, I had their Maple lavender latte with an orange zest and I almost went in for another one. I just didn't need the double up on caffeine lol. My wife got the blueberry pancake latte and she was absolutely in love it with it. On top of that we got the spinach and cheese croissant and she got cheese croissant and both were delicious!! The vibe was very open and relaxing. You could go play games , do homework and enjoy the space without any issues. The young ladies hosting were also fantastic, honestly we would go back in a heartbeat.
Crescent City is a lovely town with lots of wonderful outdoor activities, however sometimes a body just needs to sit down inside and enjoy a cup of coffee. Paragon provides such a place. My almond milk latte was very good - the espresso was strong enough to hold its own and the foam art was lovely. My family enjoyed a variety of treats including egg bites and ginger cookies - of note: there are not many plant based food options so people with vegan leanings should go for the coffee, not the food. Pricing is a little steep for both the espresso drinks and food items, and there is an upcharge for plant based milks which most major coffee houses are eliminating. I enjoyed my visit to Paragon; a little price adjustment and more vegan options for food would encourage me to return more frequently.

Was looking for coffee while in Crescent City on vacation and so glad I found Paragon! I ordered an iced van pan latte -- it was delicious, the coffee was great and the drink was yummy while not too sweet. Definitely recommend! They also have some cool seasonal drinks and pastries to choose from. And the shop has their own merch, little trinkets, greeting cards, etc if interested!
Nice little coffee shot with convenient parking and lots of space. The coffee options are nice and the coffee was pretty good, not complaints. The staff was nice too. We didn't have much time to spend here unfortunately so we grabbed our beverages and left, but if we happen to be in the neighborhood again we'll stop by.
Delicious coffee and pastry. Cool and modern decor. Friendly service! Having warm pastries with hot lattes on a cold day is the best!

My fiance and I stopped at Paragon for coffee and somehow ended up getting breakfast too because everything about this place made us want to stay a little longer. Paragon manages to be cozy and welcoming while still feeling incredibly cool. By the looks of it, everyone from newborns to retirees hangs out here, and somehow they're all stylish. It's such an eclectic mix of people and has that neighborhood coffeehouse energy where you immediately understand why people become regulars. I ordered one of their signature drinks, the Van Pan latte, while John stuck with his classic vanilla latte. Both were delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and they even treated our pup Blu to a pup cup. Then came the ham and cheese croissant. We ordered ONE to share on the road. Took our first bites, looked at each other and immediately realized sharing was no longer an option. We went back and ordered a second one. Yes, it is that crispy. What was supposed to be a quick coffee stop turned into coffee, breakfast and one of those places we were genuinely sad to leave. Great drinks, great food, genuinely warm service and an atmosphere that makes you want to hang around. Easy 5/5. If we lived nearby, I already know we'd be regulars. read more
We visited Paragon Coffeehouse after a morning hike in Redwood National Forest. They have a private parking lot and the entrance faces the lot, not the street. A small outdoor patio is by the entrance. The drink menu includes a number of espresso drinks and a glass case by the cashier displays available treats, sweet and savory. Drinks are placed on a counter around a corner from the cashier and your name called. Pastry are picked up at a window in the tin wall across from the coffee pick-up location. Your name will be called for that as well. A coffee counter is on the back wall where you will find sweeteners. A place to put dirty dishes is also in this area. The little bunt cake had creamcheese frosting in the center and is very tasty. The spinach pastry is served warm, is flakey and tasty. Service is good. There are several items for sale from coffee mugs to magnets. One restroom for all guests in the corner on the street side of the building. Easy to walk to from anywhere in the downtown area. read more

So cute, and very welcoming. Coffee was fantastic, pastries are so good and some had fun unique flavors. Even though the vibe of the place invites you to sit and stay awhile, the service is very fast and friendly. There's also cool merch including cozy sweatshirts, journals/activities to purchase to enjoy with your coffee, or to take with you, and cute little "take one leave one" book shelf. Love this place! Things we tried: Maple Lavender Latte W/Orange Zest - I requested no lavender because allergy, it was perfect. The ambiance of paragon is unbeatable. Very aesthetically pleasing with classic coffee shop vibes and feels very upscale for crescent city! I can tell it's a local favorite based on the popularity and amount of people settled in to work at some of the comfortable seating when I visited. They have knick knacks in addition to coffee and baked goods. I tried a dirty chai latte with oat milk and while I did enjoy it and could taste the high quality of coffee and chai, I would've preferred a more vanilla and less spicy one. Overall a great experience and a wonderful coffee shop that's a must try. read more

Cute coffee place with a nice pastry selection. The apple cider chai latte was good (winter menu special) - unexpectedly tart. I would have preferred it a little sweeter but I liked it. The chai spices compliment the apple cider flavors. The cheese scallion scone is very good, if slightly underbaked - more akin to a dense biscuit than a true crumbly scone, but I actually prefer it that way! Very nice baristas, quick service. read more

This was a wonderful coffee shop we stopped in twice while we were in Crescent City. The staff is friendly and the coffee is a solid 10/10. We really enjoyed the cinnamon buns && when they warmed them up. Their tea selection is also wonderful and everything in the shop is thought out and beautiful. Thanks for having us! read more

I always have to stop here when im home for a visit! Ambience is so serene, calming and cozy. The service is top notch and the workers are super friendly. I went twice this visit and had the eggnog latte and the maple lavender latte. Both are my favorites!! I also tried to pumpkin danish today and it was REALLY tasty. What a beautiful find in this picturesque downtown coffee house so nice, open and spacious with absolutely stunning quality coffee brewed by three friendly baristas! The latte was perfectly crafted with beautiful leaf design with over the top thin foam and top notch smooth Americano coffee that imbued smooth deep roasted coffee beans without acidic aftertaste! The simple oatmeal with self serving paper container for eco friendly guiltless pleasure of saving the environment at the same time is deliciously refreshing in this small community. Do Try.
