I struck out on clothes this time around--not because they didn't have any, just because nothing in my size was quite my style, condition, or price point. That's thrifting, though. You never know what you're going to find, and sometimes the best score is in a completely different aisle. In my case, I walked out with a pair of vintage shoes in excellent condition for only $5, plus several beautiful glass pieces for next to nothing. I'd call that a successful trip! When I drove by on Sunday, they had boxes and boxes of free items out front with people happily digging through them. It was way too hot for me to join the hunt, but once the Texas weather cools off, I definitely will. This feels like one of those thrift stores that's worth stopping into regularly because the inventory is always changing, and you never know what treasure you'll find next.

Playful kitties will lounge in their towers around and scurry through the dressing racks as you shop. Every once in a while, I'll give them a head scratch -- some real retail therapy right there! The women's selection accounts for the majority of the store with the hot vintages looks displayed in the front and gently used items behind it. I particularly love the men's section, although smaller, they have great flannels and comfy t shirts. They often have color tag deals going on like: yellow tags 25% off, orange tags 50% off (not exact, but something along those lines) so I often walk away with a sweet deal. This time around I happily walked away with a t shirt and flannel (you guessed it, from the men's section) for $12. Please support this business, proceeds go back to the animal shelter!!
