Found lots of nice clothes, no fitting room. Would really benefit if they had one as i would've bought something if i was able to try it on.

Lots of neat stuff but not what we were looking for. Friendly staff and some selections out of the ordinary!

She greeted me with a genuine smile, spoke softly, and made me feel like I wasn't just another person in line. She helped me set up a profile I'd been struggling to figure out for months, walking me through it step by step with so much patience and gentleness that I didn't feel embarrassed or rushed for once. She even helped me fix a small mistake that kept popping up on my screen, reassuring me the whole time that it happens to everyone. We laughed together about how technology seems determined to confuse people no matter their age. I told her she was doing a great job and that her kindness really mattered, and you could see how much that meant to her--it was one of those quiet, genuine exchanges that stays with you. It didn't feel like a transaction at all, just two people having a friendly chat which I have been needing. I didn't catch her name, but thank you, sweet tall blonde young lady. Your kindness meant more to me than you could ever know.

The worst part was how rude their customer service is. My 2.5 year old is deaf/hard of hearing and took off her hearing aid in the store. My husband put it in what he thought was our cart. When we realized he had misplaced her hearing aid, I went back inside to look for it. I asked one of the stockers to help and they ignored me. I then went to the front to ask for help and was told that I would need to look in the carts myself. I told the lady that my daughter needs the hearing aid to hear and they are very expensive but she blew me off again and told me to look myself. I then told her I had spent $60 in the store and that they were $12,000 and asked if she would please help me. She told me " not with that attitude I can't." She then forced me to take a breath and continued to berate me about my attitude after she had refused to help me. She finally did make an announcement and someone came forward with the hearing aid. I'll never go back to this store and would never recommend it to anyone.

As one of yelper has already pointed out, there's usually some derelict with his hand out at the front door. About 75% of the store is given over to clothing with everything else around the perimeter. The prices here seem pretty much in line with your average Goodwill, although some seem higher. They do have a lot of kids toys and furniture. This business is primarily geared towards clothing, and this is a cash operation only, but they do have an ATM, which will happily charge you a fee. It's worth a look around, and maybe the photos included will get you through the door.

Even with a fleece vest on, sweaty face and hair, and chalky hands, the owner was sweet to me and shook my hand. I got the impression it's a family owned business (her son was there and other staff may have been family). I'd been dying to try on this adorable red polka-dot dress in the window, and she actually said it was ok. The dressing room is really a large bathroom which was nice and clean, but nowhere to hang the dress. anyways. The damn thing wouldn't fit over my new lat muscles, which was a bummer considering it was only $8. Looked almost brand new and the brand was Papaya (a trendy charlotte rusee-Forever 21 type of place for those not familar). They had a lot of jeans, but I wasn't in the market so I didnt really look through them.Their shoes and accesories were trendy/funky/good condition (always in the market for shoes, come on now). The other clothes seemed hit or miss - more on the miss side. They seemed older/different age group than the other stuff. Anyways, it was worth stopping by, I will definitely cruise through every so often just to see what they get in. The have only been open a week or two so I wonder if they will develop their own style. As is, it's basically a nicer, small salvation army with better than average denim and shoe selection. (and it doesn't smell in there or have screaming kids...)

I simply love the opportunity to save you $$$$$$$$$$ and feel good at wearing that special item that no one needs to know that you spend just dollars for. We have something for everyone and every age. Sizes from 0 to 44. Thank you in advance for coming to visit me.

I just want to say, they are off of 620, so you think it would be easy to find. But it's a little bit of a maze. It's almost like you're going to the hotel that is there, but then swing around to the back of the hotel. Once you find it, you'll know the next time. It's a little confusing. The parking lot right in front is somewhat small. But there is some parking to the side of the building before you drive to the front of the building. They also have handicap parking spots available too. I did take a video of the parking lot. As you enter, to the left is women's clothing. On the right is beautiful dish ware sets. Towards the back they have hand bags, and kitchen ware. In the back right corner is books and in the middle on the right is kids clothing and men's. They do have a lot of jewelry in the middle, and that's where the cashiers are to check out customers. Places like this seem like they move inventory pretty quickly. So if you see something, buy it up. Might not be there the next time. I bet they get a lot of new inventory often. (Although I don't know for sure) Racks are pretty organized by size. So it makes it easy to go through. I did see some high end brand names. I'm glad I was able to check them out. I think it's geared towards older customers. Not exactly what I would be looking for. But now I know.

This place bills itself as a thrift store, but the prices are more in line with what you'd see in a consignment store. The aisles are very narrow in order to accommodate all the merchandise. They definitely have some collectible items, including some vintage stereo stuff. Inside you'll also find appliances, toys, furniture, tons of clothes, home decor, drum sets and electronics. They do offer sale prices on certain color tags which are likely the items that have been sitting around for a while. About half the space is given over to clothing and accessories, you'll also find three dressing rooms to try them on. This business doesn't just accept donations, they will purchase them as well. This thrift store carries a higher quality number of goods by far than your average Goodwill, but then again they are priced higher. Plenty of photos to peak your interest below.

Second Looks is clearly his baby: he's not just an attentive consultant, responding to your preferences on house, material, and tailoring (thankfully, he is not hesitant to offer his excellent suggestions on fit and styling), he's also a gentleman and a scholar, eager to share his considerable knowledge about the history of menswear, soul music, and rodeo, having been a cowboy himself before working in radio and taking over Second Looks. Michael's selection is fantastic. he showed me suits and separates from Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece, Drake's, Canali, and local Austin bespoke tailors Capra and Cavelli. He's got Allen Edmonds shoes and a great collection of belts, which seem to go very quickly. I didn't peruse his selection of casualwear, but it seemed just as well-curated and complete as his formal sections. I walked out with a Golden Fleece jacket and alligator belt having spent about $115--he gave me the educator discount. I couldn't have asked for better value. Having lived in Boston, Cleveland, Charleston, SC, Eugene, OR, Granada, Spain, and Norwich, England, I've never been so impressed by a menswear shop, let alone a secondhand store, or by its owner. TL;DR: Go see Michael. He's got the goods.
