It is Central to a lot of good stuff and eateries nearby. We often come here on the weekends after stopping off for a bagel around the corner. It seems that many have followed us into here afterwards. There is a great amount of parking out front. The floor plan is open and spread out I like how they have switched up the organization of a layout. I can quickly lose my wife to the racks while I drop into the back area and comb over some of the local artifacts. Often I'm looking for antiques, old toys, some office equipment, and large scale frames. I go through my usual tracks and quickly find what I'm looking for or I end up re-organizing the shelves and put things in where they're supposed to be. The hired help does a decent job, but there are the few who just throw it up on the shelf and call it a day. There's so much donations in the back that they don't really mind where they place it because people like me will either put it in place or make a purchase. I used to snub those who went to Goodwill. They should be calling it. Good fortune instead. It's like urban mining. There are some really good finds. People toss out brand new items to worn through apparel. Sometimes even I find items that I would've bought 20 or 30 years ago and now I have it. My wife and I have made it into an enjoyable hobby to pass the time and reminisce on those things that have been past through the generations.

The worst part was how rude their customer service is. My 2.5 year old is deaf/hard of hearing and took off her hearing aid in the store. My husband put it in what he thought was our cart. When we realized he had misplaced her hearing aid, I went back inside to look for it. I asked one of the stockers to help and they ignored me. I then went to the front to ask for help and was told that I would need to look in the carts myself. I told the lady that my daughter needs the hearing aid to hear and they are very expensive but she blew me off again and told me to look myself. I then told her I had spent $60 in the store and that they were $12,000 and asked if she would please help me. She told me " not with that attitude I can't." She then forced me to take a breath and continued to berate me about my attitude after she had refused to help me. She finally did make an announcement and someone came forward with the hearing aid. I'll never go back to this store and would never recommend it to anyone.

About 75% of the store is given over to clothing with everything else around the perimeter. The prices here seem pretty much in line with your average Goodwill, although some seem higher. They do have a lot of kids toys and furniture. This business is primarily geared towards clothing, and this is a cash operation only, but they do have an ATM, which will happily charge you a fee. So I wanted to come show my support and check the store out. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Everything is super organized and the selections are unique. A nice blend of clothing and shoes (both men and women's), glassware, jewelry, electronics and a bunch of other items. I had so much fun browsing. I found an Anne Taylor top for example that was $12. Score. The prices are reasonable and the selection is varied. It's a very welcoming place and I can't wait to bring friends and shop again. This place is easy to miss as you're driving fast down 290 through Drippin'. It is directly across…read morethe street from a subway, an Exxon and next-door to a senior center. From the outside, this looks like a small thrift shop, but once inside you'll discover a large back room with shoes and mostly men's + women's clothing. In the back there's also an entire room set aside just for kids clothes and toys. At the front of the store, they have tons of books, a decent selection of glassware, games, puzzles and a few electronics. Everything here is very well merchandised with a level of quality you won't find at your average Goodwill. Lots of good clothing with very good pricing and two dressing room rooms to try them on. Across from the dressing rooms you'll find lots of CDs and DVDs. At first, I didn't think they carried any furniture, but they have a lot of furniture and luggage hidden in outdoor covered location next to the men's clothing area. I spotted and happily purchased a pair of New Balance 327s I had never seen before. They were basically like new, priced fairly, and are already set to become part of my regular rotation. The selection feels thoughtful rather than chaotic, which makes browsing genuinely fun. It's a smaller store and super cute. I have been here a few times over the years and it's a fun store to browse. On my last visit I purchased a vintage bangle as a gift for a friend. I've been meaning to make this post for awhile now (I will often reference that I have A LOT of draft reviews I am working through). Anyway, I am saddened by the low reviews and the treatment of other patrons by staff. That simply has never been the case for me. Maybe it's my winning personality? HAHA. Or maybe, they were having several bad days? I don't know... Either way, I will keep shopping here. They have a nice selection and supporting local is important to me.
