The staff at this facility is friendly and patient. I come in monthly to help clean my hearing aids. Each time I leave with a smile on my face. read more

DO NOT GO HERE, I went in and let them know before my warranty expired that my hearing aids were not working. They stated they would replace them but a week later told me they forgot to place the order and because the warranty was now expired, that they could no longer order them or do anything for me except to clean them. They are still broken. This is something that could've been fixed if they would've done their job in ordering the hearing aid replacements when they said they would. 0/5 if I could. read more

I went to HearUSA to address my hearing loss and explore hearing aid options. While the staff were polite, the overall experience felt somewhat transactional. I was given a lot of information about the technology all at once, which was overwhelming, and I didn't feel like my specific type of hearing loss was fully considered during the recommendation process. I initially expressed interest in in-ear hearing aids and they were recommended to me, but after trying them I still couldn't hear softer sounds clearly. It made me feel like the type of hearing loss I have wasn't fully taken into account when guiding me toward that option. I was also surprised that no follow-up appointment was scheduled to help adjust the hearing aids or check how they were working. That kind of support seems important when getting used to new devices. In the end, I returned the devices and ended up going to Costco instead. I hope the process is more supportive and personalized for older patients who may need more guidance and ongoing adjustments. read more

First visit here not impressed at all . Receptionist are loud and joking while we wait for over 30 minutes to be seen . Employees are matter of factly . We were referred here by Kaiser and I will express my concerns with them as well. Health care has really gone to the dogs read more

Great service. Great people. Kind and knowledgeable about hearing aids . I've been with them along time, and I've always been pleased.

I would not recommend this place because they do not offer lifetime coverage on hearing aids they only offer you coverage up until your warranty ends and most hearing aids don't go bad until the end of the warranty. They refused to help me because of warranty issues and told me I'd have to buy a new pair after spending 5 thousand dollars with them only 5 to 6 years ago! So before settling with them call some other doctors offices to find out about life time warranties! Don't get me wrong the people who work there are very knowledgeable and nice people but they are bound by company policy. read more

Took my elderly mom here yesterday for a hearing test and was extremely happy with the service. Mikaela was professional, thorough, and very kind. She had excellent suggestions and explained everything well. Thank you Mikaela! read more

Had an appointment for my 96 year old grandpa, our consultation was handled with care and our concerns were all answered. My grandpa did inform me that the lady that helped us was a little rough with him. We talked about his hearing loss and how hearing aids will help with clarity and quality of life for him. We had some laughs and then we talked price and types best suited for my gpa. We went with an outside hearing aid, we got his ear mold to best fit his aid and then we were done. We spent maybe an hour or so in here so it was pretty quick and easy, which at this age for my gpa is best! Overall I'd say this was a successful appointment for us. We will be getting his hearing aids in 2 weeks (before Xmas and for his bday!) so I will be checking back in to let you know how well they fit them on him. read more

I brought my 87 year old father in and could not have been happier with the service we received. The woman at the front desk was helpful and friendly and patient. And the care provider, Maccaia, was so nice and easy to work with. She was understanding and friendly and very knowledgeable about the products. We didn't feel rushed or pressured and he was treated respectfully, even though it's hard for him to always understand what's going on. And best of all: he can hear soooo much better now and the TV is down from volume 100 to about 45. Thank you, Hear USA Downey!!!! read more

I absolutely love this HearUSA location. The staff has been the same for years and they are all phenomenal! The 2 ladies at the front desk are so welcoming as soon as you walk in. They greet you with a smile and always ready to assist you. Judy is also great. She takes her time when explaining how things work, cleaning process, features, etc. I have always been seen by Maccaia Jones. She's thorough, patient, and attentive to your needs. She makes sure you are comfortable and have exactly what you need to be able to hear better. She goes above and beyond just like her coworkers. She's always smiling and engaging. The whole staff takes the time to get to know each and every one that walks through that door, and this is what makes this place what it is. They recently moved from bellflower to Downey. No matter where they go, I will follow. Their customer service is the BEST! To the team at this location, THANK YOU! For your dedicated service and for helping us hear again!!! read more

I'm usually assisted by Macciah, who's fantastic, but she's on vacation today. So I was assisted by Valerie Ghani. She was rude and short with me and gave the impression that she did not want to be there or help me. Valerie did not let me finish my questions and got irritated when I asked for explanation on what a certain word means. I don't know if it was an off day or end of day or what. She needs customer service training and smile more like Macciah. read more

This office makes payment arrangements with you that they do not want to put down in writing. But, they still make you sign an application for credit which charges a a high percentage rate. All they give you for this "special payment arrangement" is a little yellow post it note. Then you get a payment booklet from the finance company so you can start making a monthly payment that was not agreed upon by you the customer. Customers go home thinking they don't need to pay any finance charges (which is what they were verbally told) but all the paperwork says that you are. We went back asking them for something in writing stating the agreed upon payment arrangement. Surprise Surprise, they refuse. So we just ended up giving everything back. We were within our 30 day trial period. I don't know what they are trying to pull or if they get any money from the finance company but, your better protect yourself when coming here, and ask for any "special arrangements" in writing. read more

I was so impressed with this HEAR USA in Bellflower. I saw Nicole who gave me an annual hearing test, reprogrammed my hearing aids, changed the tips and gave me so many tips for how to clean aids and use the program on my iPhone. She made a lot of changes to aids I had purchased at another office. She spent a lot of time with me and was so professional and kind. All the other women who work at this office were very pleasant and friendly as well. I cannot recommend this office in Bellflower highly enough. read more
