Ask the Community - Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center

Do you accept Medicare and Tricare insurances?

Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover Hearing Aids at this time and we are not "In Network" with Tricare insurance. We would have to run an insurance verification, to see if they accept out of network providers.

Kym demonstrates invaluable amount of effort and true kindness along with patience, when working with all the other kids, including mine. There was not one day, nor one minute where she took any shortcuts just to get these classes done, she truly cares, no doubt. My wife and I, as parents, appreciate this Help and everyone in my family notices my daughter speaking a lot more clearly and detailed. The staff was always kind and always gave me direction. Thank you very much for helping my daughter with her speech ! Highly recommend!

I called to find out and they made me wait until 2 days before and told me it'd be $90 co-pay since I didn't meet my deductible for the year with my insurance. Ok no problem... but then I've since been billed $325 that my insurance hasn't covered. I should have been made aware of the full cost of the appt BEFORE her appt. The person who did her appt continuously used jargon and abbreviated terms when discussing my daughter's assessment. I found that to be highly unprofessional. At the end of it she let me know that this facility is really a short term solution only for 6 months and that she would need to go to her school district to get a separate assessment through the school system. Such an incredible waste of time waiting months to find out just send her to school where it would all be free.

Their outgoing message says their office hours are Monday - Friday from 8 am to 4 or 4:30 pm. When I finally reached the office and spoke with Vanessa, she offered excuses for why no one had returned my call. She mentioned that she had been out of the office for some time caring for her disabled child and that her colleague Sophia was very busy. Vanessa made it seem like she was managing the entire office. I wonder how a company can function with such inadequate staffing. Vanessa asked what tests I needed to have done. I explained that my Approval for Request of Service listed six tests and that she should have received my insurance carrier's authorization with the tests listed. She put me on a brief hold to look up the information on her computer. When she returned, she informed me that they could only perform two of the six tests, and two of the tests were the same but had different codes. After almost two weeks of trying to schedule an appointment, I now need to return to my doctor for another referral to complete four of the requested tests. I wouldn't say Vanessa was rude, but she had an attitude and seemed indifferent for a customer relations representative. A person with that attitude would never work for my company! I'm uncomfortable with this company conducting my hearing test due to poor office management and lack of sufficient staff.

During a very difficult vertigo episode, Dr. Nava and her team found a way to get me in to their facility the very next day. When you're going through something like that, responsiveness and compassion matter, and they delivered both. Dr. Nava is thorough, patient, and truly cares about getting to the root of the problem, not just treating symptoms. Their follow-up care by phone and Zoom also showed a level of commitment that you just don't see very often anymore. I also want to thank Justine, who helped coordinate everything. She was professional, kind, and extremely accommodating with scheduling, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. My testing with Dr. Ni lasted three hours and was incredibly comprehensive. Some parts were physically challenging, but what stood out most was how well he prepared me for each step. Before every procedure, he explained exactly what we would be doing, what I might feel, and why it mattered. That level of communication made a huge difference and helped reduce the anxiety going into the testing. What also impressed me was his constant attention to my well-being during the testing. Dr. Ni repeatedly checked on me throughout the process, making sure I was okay and reminding me that we could stop at any time if I needed a break. That reassurance and his calm, professional manner helped me successfully get through what were some very challenging procedures. Because of the thoroughness and expertise of this team, I now have a diagnosis, a treatment plan, and most importantly, confidence that I can manage this condition moving forward. As someone who has worked in professional sports for 27 years, I have been around high-level medical professionals and know what great care looks like. The Dizzy and Vertigo Institute team operates at that level. They are professional, compassionate, prepared, and they genuinely care about their patients. I am very grateful to Dr. Nava, Dr. Ni, Justine, and their entire team for helping me through a very difficult health situation. When you are dealing with something as disruptive as vertigo, having the right team makes all the difference. I'm very thankful I found this one. Jack R.

To start, in March of 2025 I experience my 1st vertigo episode after waking up to a spinning room. I wasn't sure why it happened but after going to a PT she reported I have BPPV, used the epley maneuver and sent me on my marry way. The only issue is that every month, like clock work I kept having vertigo symptoms, waking up in the middle of the night to the room spinning. I have gone to several ENTs with the same stupid response "take medication, you just have vertigo." As someone who likes to believe they're more holistic, I did not accept that as an answer. I just felt like something must be off. While it was an investment I am so happy I found DVI and Dr. Pearce. She is a literal angel and exactly what I needed at the time!! Finally, a doctor that was able to look at the whole picture and not gaslight me to believe that I am just 32 years old with a bad case of BPPV, crystals flying out of my ear every 3 weeks. She tailored a treatment plan just for me, and supported me though further investigation, including blood work, and looking at the neurology of my brain. I learned that my history of migraines and hormonal imbalance may have continued to vestibular migraines. While it was an overwhelming process with ovarian cysts and learning I have endometriosis in the background of it all, I can say that I was able to find peace in this health journey. The spinning has stopped happening in the middle of the night, I do not feel like I'm on a boat the majority of my life, I am not triggered by a spinning washing machine, or a car passing by, and I sure as heck feel like myself again. If you have the ability to see this treatment through, I highly suggest giving Dr Pearce a shot. Getting the whole picture rather than being gaslight and thrown medication at, was worth every penny!

I got a call back and missed the call so I returned it. At this time the person who called me could not be found so I was placed on hold for several minutes, after about 10 mins I was told the person went to lunch. I asked if someone else could assist me, so I was placed on hold again. When someone else got on the line I was told they could take a message. At this point I'm getting upset because I've been holding for about 30 mins now and all I need to do is make an appointment ( I guess no one else knows how to). Well I left a message and no one returned it, I called again and then they couldn't find the insurance authorization so guess what! I was put on hold again. Even after saying I had the authorization in my hand and can give them the info, the person on the phone proceeded with putting me on hold to look for their copy. Oh my goodness what a mess. End of story I never made that appointment and called my insurance to send me elsewhere. If this was the process to only make an appointment I don't want to imagine the process of actually being seen here.
