The provider I saw seemingly had no info on file for me, so it was like a blind appointment…read more I sent my referral docs myself as well as some medical history/records and my medical group also sent referrals and health records directly to the office but somehow none of it seemed to end up in my chart for the doctor to see. I also followed up twice with office staff prior to my appointment about the intake forms that I was told would get texted to me and both times they acted annoyed that I was asking; my second follow up a man on the phone laughed at me and said the text would be a few days ahead of the appointment but it never came. I even arrived early on purpose for my appointment and told office staff I never received the texted intake form and again they seemed annoyed. They confirmed my cell # and said they'd text them right then for me to fill out but then they had me sign just an arbitration form then almost immediately put me in a room early and I never got that text to fill out the intake forms and the provider came in early. The provider I'm sure did the best they could with zero information and health history for me, but honestly it was a wholly unproductive appointment and I 100% regret coming. I cried in my car after my appointment because I was so frustrated. I waited weeks for this appointment and missed work for this appointment and spent time preparing by sending and ordering records and it was all for nothing. My suggestion is bipass the office staff completely and go old school and bring hard copies of your referrals and any health history/medical records and make your own list of things like medications and hand them directly to your provider so they actually know info about you and why you are there.

I will assess my impressions and factual events of my visit to this office. I have gotten out of practice of checking an organization on yelp prior to going to a company and after the fact, has noticed this office has a very low rating. There are other HearUSAs in area with much better ratings. Parking was very convenient, ample spaces. The office was pleasant, good seating, uncluttered and the person at the front desk was polite and professional. While filling out the forms another staff member came in to assist the front desk person with the computer/program (unsure which) as the office was having technical issues. Upon completing the paperwork, Claudia Morales - Hansen, the technician who would be conducting the hearing assessment was nothing less than professional and personable. She explained everything she was going to do and began the process. Just about the time we were ready to begin, a very loud gentleman entered this booth, already occupied by myself and Ms. Claudia announcing, "Supervisor" and proceeded to remove my left earplug to reinsert it painfully into my ear. In my opinion, whe Ms. Claudia placed the right and left plugs into my ears it felt fine, and well placed. Needless to say, I was appalled at his entrance and the fact that he seemed to "undermined" Ms. Claudia's role. He then left the booth/room as abruptly as he entered. Long Story short, Ms. Claudia graciously proceeded explaining she was an "apprentice" and he was checking her work. I am a 30 year Human Resources professional and have never seem such a rude, insensitive supervisor. In my opinion he performed poorly, hurting me in the process. He needs more training on how to supervise and customer service. I now understand why their company ranks so low and I think Ms. Claudia deserves an apology from Mr. HOLDEN BAKER-BRITO.

My primary doctor was able to refer me and I started my vestibular physical therapy sessions with Dr. Faustino (Robbie) several months ago. By the time I was referred, I had several mild-moderate vertigo episodes but needed serious vestibular rehabilitation therapy due to my imbalanced gait and dizziness symptoms. Dr. Faustino helped me and listened to my concerns and I felt fully supported throughout my time working with him. As of yesterday, I have been discharged (yay!) because I no longer experience symptoms thanks to the rehab sessions and exercises that Robbie taught me. So I just want to say a huge thanks to him. Robbie is very professional, to the point, and supportive with a goal to help his patients get better. I have already recommended this location to several of my friends and coworkers who need rehab/physical therapy like myself. Also, thank you to Isabella at the front desk for being so helpful!

I was born with hearing in only one ear. In my sixties now, fate took a turn and hearing on my one…read moreand only good ear had dropped to "moderate loss" and the time had come to look into a hearing aid. I was referred to the Cypress office by my ENT doctor, another awesome lady, Dr. Maher. Enter Dr. Jodi Stephans, a wonderful woman, who administered a complete hearing test including my "deaf" ear. Looking at the results, Dr. Stephans determined that the plumbing in this deaf ear was working (I was born with no ear canal or eardrum but the rest of the plumbing was good). So after setting me up with a very nice Oticon hearing aid (I can hear now!), the doctor referred me to a University of Irvine ENT doctor, Dr. Djalilian. This has been a life-changing event. I am going through the process of obtaining a Bone-Conduction hearing aid on my deaf side, completely paid by Medicare. This is a several thousand dollar gift from Medicare that will enable me to hear stereo for the first time in my life. I will always be indebted to my wonderful ENT Dr. Maher who referred me to Sound Systems (and spoke of the UCI program) and Dr. Stephans who took up the torch and enabled the process that will allow hearing where once there was none. They have changed my life.

This hearing aid died 2 more times and now they say the warranty has expired even though it was broken more often than not. They ran out the clock. Now they said we don't make them, she tried to blame the insurance for not allowing a more expensive model. She said l should write a letter to the insurance company. In the mean time l bought a new pair on Amazon for $100, they don't come with Bluetooth or a phone AP but they work.
